Indiana: never mind don't worry about it. If you don't want to come over I won't force you.
Mads: we can hang out tomorrow, I just want to lay down and be alone right now.

We pulled up to my apartment. I got out and grabbed my suitcase out of the trunk then waved bye at Riley while she got out to hop in the front seat.
I went inside the apartment complex then into my apartment. I leave my suitcase by the door and went upstairs to my room. I texted my mom asking her to bring pickles and juice over tomorrow morning. I post the pictures I took in Indi's car, then I grab my computer.
I went to a website where they make custom hockey jerseys. I click on Josh's favorite team and enter his last name in the blank. I paid for it and made sure it was being sent to his address. It was coming on Valentine's Day; just my luck. I close my computer then laid down for a nap. I barely got sleep last week I guess I can try this week to get sleep.

*Indiana's Pov*
Riley: why did you want her to come over so bad?
Indiana: because Josh is there.
Riley: Josh is there?!
Indiana: yeah he wanted to talk to Mads.
Riley: why?!
Indiana; calm down Ri. If you hear his side you would want him to work it out with Mads.
Riley: no I won't. He literally said he wanted Nessa back.
Indiana: no he didn't.
Riley: ok Ms. know it all what did he say.
Indiana: he will tell you. Just gave him a chance; y'all was good friends before.
Riley: yeah before I don't know about now.
Indiana: just hear him out please.
Riley: we'll see.
We pulled up to our apartment and went inside.
Josh: Mads, look I really nee-
Riley: save your breathe she's not with us.
Josh: Indi, you said you were going to bring her.
Indiana: I tried okay.

Indiana: Riley, why don't you hear Josh out while he's here.

He took a deep breath before he spoke again.
Josh: when I went to the hospital the day Mads woke up I seen Jaden hugging Mads, and at that moment I thought she forgave him and took him back again. I was really upset so I went to the bar and started drinking; I didn't know Nessa was going to be there. I got really drunk and I slept with Nessa, but I-
Riley: what?! You slept with Nessa?!
Josh: it was a mistake I'm so mad that I slept with her; I said things I shouldn't have. I realized that Mads made me feel things I haven't felt in a while. I really want to be with your sister I really do.
I seen Riley's facial expressions change from anger.
Riley: are you lying?
Josh: no, why would I be lying about this?
Riley: I don't know you tend to lie a lot like Jaden.
Josh: ok one, I'm not lying. Two, don't compare me to him, and three, I only lie to protect the people I love.
Riley: what was that?
Josh: nothing.

It took me a second to realize what he said.
Indiana: oh my gosh you do?!
Josh: no!
Indiana: yes you do, you literally just said it.
Josh: said what?
Indiana: you said you only protect the people you love.
Josh: nah I didn't say that.

I pointed at the door and he walked out.
*Third Person Pov*
Josh went to his car not knowing what he was going to say to Mads. He started his car then pulled off trying to figure out what to say. He was going to say what came to mind but that would be just stupid. He knew he needed to tell her that he's in love with her; he's been in love with her since October. Hopefully she will talk to him and give him a chance, and forgive him for lying.
He pulled up to his apartment complex nervous. He got out and slowly walked to the front of the apartment complex. He ranged the busser to Mads apartment and waited to hear her voice.
Mads: who is it?
Josh *Bryce's tone*: it's me Bryce buss me in I want to talk to you.
Mads: umm what?
He felt like she was catching on, but he kept going because he really wanted to talk to her.
Josh: *Bryce's tone*: I want to talk to you.
Surprisingly she didn't catch on with the next words coming out of her mouth.
Mads: look Bryce you need to go home; I want to be alone right now.
Josh: *Bryce's tone*: just buss me in please.
He heard the door unlock then he opened it. Time for him to grow some balls and go up to her, and tell her how he feels about her.
He gets to her door and knocks on it softly. It took before she opened the door. She was shocked but pissed at the same time.
Mads: what are you doing here?
Josh: I need to talk to you.
Mads: where's Bryce?
Josh: Bryce isn't here...I was acting like him so I can talk to you.
Mads: wow. Look, I just want to be alone so you can leave.
Josh: not until we talk.
He walked into her apartment unannounced, but she was used to that.
Mads: Josh, I don't want to-
Josh: talk yeah I know so I'll do most of the talking then.
Mads: what?
Josh: I'm sorry I lied to you. I only did it to protect you.
Mads: if you think I'm supposed to believe that you're out of your mind.
Josh: I am telling you the truth.
Mads: yeah ok.
Josh: what do I have to do to make you believe me?
Mads: there is nothing you can do. You want Nessa and slept with her.
Josh: oh my gosh I told Bryce I don't want her. I want you.
Mads: nobody wants me Josh, so you can stop saying that.
Josh: Mads, can you just listen to me please. I want you and only you; nobody else but you.
He went up to her and kissed her passionately. It felt like it was his first kiss with her.
