Her personal energy manifests as gold, however, when using it through chaotic magicks, it manifests as black.

𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘 ⌡ Zhaleh is a stoic woman, hardened by her years of work within Red Dahlia. She is stern, wearing a schooled expression with a steely yet calm attitude. She's rather controlled, measured in her movements and not easily overcome by waves of emotion, quieting her feelings until she's alone with no one to watch her unravel. Neither is she easily frightened, someone who is unfazed by times of struggle and strife, unworried of pain. She's stable, stubbornly striding through any problem without hesitation. It helps that she's rather resigned, favoring her privacy as she speaks little of herself and even littler of her family, disconnecting herself from emotional attachments.
When it comes to relationships, Zhaleh tends to be more on the icy side, shooing away those that try to dig where she doesn't want them to. She's not apathetic, however, she's not compassionate either, someone who sees logic in mercy and second-changes but doesn't offer pity nor kindness. She's rather upfront as well, an assertive woman who will call out what she sees and speaks plainly, disinclined to sugarcoat when she sees no reason in it. She's quick to snuff out questions to her authority, reigning control over her teams and missions. All this leads many to see her as unfavorable, a blunt yet glacial woman who offers little friendship. However, there's a lingering sense of mystique beneath her cool personality, leading many to dither over their feelings, curious as to what lies beneath her icy facade.
Should someone break past her outward appearance, they'd find Zhaleh to be a rather intelligent woman. She holds a vast array of knowledge on magick and the arcane world, a scholarly woman who is able to dip and weave in political and educational circles. She's fairly clever as well, someone who's quick to understand different situations and devise plans of actions. Her confidence carries over, though rather than it being harsh and icy, it's visible in a sense of pride. She holds herself high, fully aware of what skills she possesses, and takes pride in her family name as well as her achievements. However, when facing down a rival or someone she dislikes, there's a sense of ego about her. She derives pleasure from seeing them up, taking small moments to place a quiet brag or to bolster herself and her own power, her distain for her rival discreet yet clear.

Zhaleh was born as Zhaleh Piranshahi on July 1st, 1981 in Tehran, Iran as the second child of Masoud Piranshahi and Raheleh Dehghan. She was preceded five years by older sister, Zahrah Piranshahi. Although magick was both illegal and unrecognized in Iran, Masoud was still a leading warlock within the Tehran Arcane Advisory, a clandestine council that regulated the use and teach of magick within Iran. As such, he began teaching his daughters how to use chaos magicks as soon as they were old enough to understand what it was, Zhaleh beginning her training at seven years old.
While Zhaleh thrived in chaos magicks, recognized as a prodigy child from early on, Zahrah struggled heavily, unable to safely put herself in the extreme mindsets needed to use chaos magicks. Her struggle with magicks-use escalated alongside issues with Masoud, breaking into short yet aggressive arguments that eventually boiled over into a final, explosive fight. That same night, Zahrah left with only a backpack of supplies, disappearing from Iran at age fifteen as went to find her own path in life.
Zhaleh, however, fell under the watchful eye of the Tehran Arcane Advisory by age thirteen, regarded their members as a candidate to takeover Masoud's seat someday. At eighteen, she was accepted into the Tehran Arcane Academy, formally known as the Tehran Academy of Esoteric Studies, as one of their leading students. She became her father's official apprentice, which drew the attention of the Order of the Red Dahlia. At age twenty, during a conference in Riyadh, Zhaleh was approached by Mona Mansour who planted the idea of joining Red Dahlia.
After a couple weeks of debate, and long conversations with her mother and aunt, Raheleh and Roshanara, Zhaleh made the decision to drop out of the Tehran Arcane Academy and join the Order of the Red Dahlia. She was supported by Raheleh and Roshanara, the latter of who was Red Dahlia herself, however, Masoud was openly disappointed. He had expected Zhaleh to follow in his footsteps and someday take his seat on the Tehran Arcane Advisory. However, Zhaleh remained dutifully loyal to her commitment, attending the Beirut Red Dahlia Academy at age twenty and graduating at age twenty-two.
Following graduation, Zhaleh was given to Mona Mansour as an apprentice, joining her team in the SWANA region as they managed communication between arcane communities and help protect Red Dahlia wards. However, her time with Mona, Ibrahim Karim, and Dawoud al-Zahabi lasted only a year as Zhaleh completed her apprenticeship at age twenty-three, approved to act as an independent, fully fledged agent.

After several months of independent work, Zhaleh was assigned to a new team, headed by her old mentor, Mona Mansour, alongside Diego Morales and Rafael Muñoz. They worked primarily in northwestern Asia, bouncing between different missions where they were needed. Then, when Zhaleh twenty-five, her team was called to Arcane Siberia.
There had been reports of concerning activity from the morozishche, beastly frost monsters. Dead bodies had been found scattered about the tundra, frozen over and blue. Red Dahlia had sent an investigative team before hand, however, they had gone missing only a few days later. Zhaleh's team had been sent to try to find them, but even after several weeks of prodding, they could find nothing about the original team, not until they received a distress beacon from inside Arcane Siberia itself.
They arrived to find the dead body of Damir Niyabov, discarded in the snow, alongside a nine-year-old, freshly orphaned Sonya Morozova. Damir and the rest of the House of Morozov had been slaughtered by the House of Romanov, leading Mona to decide to take Sonya with them. They brought Sonya to an orphanage in Moscow that was under Red Dahlia's watch and gave Damir's body back to his family, their team split up soon after as they were each reassigned new missions.
