Flashback continues....

"Nandini are you sure?" Mukti fidgeted her fingers asking so.

"Damn sure. Come naaaa..." Nandini whined seeing her so nervous. "Kuch nahi hoga. Sachiiii."

"I am scared of them Nandu!" Navya confessed hesitantly.

"But they won't eat you. It'll pain thoda sa. Sachi. Dekhna you'll love the outcome." Nandini tried convincing them. Navya and Mukti shared a look and then moved their gazes towards Nandini who was looking at them for an answer. They meekly nodded making Nandini jump up in excitement.

"Yaayaaaa. Chalo!" She held their hands and dragged them out of the college. Just when they were about to set their foot out, they witnessed Cabir standing on the other side with the some girl they dint know.

Mukti and Nandini winked at each other and turned towards Navya who was oblivious to what was happening.

"Uss joker ko mere alawa koi nahi milega." Navya said before they could say anything. "So don't even think of teasing me. Because that girl is going to roll her eyes and walk off very soon."

"Hein?" Came Mukti's instant reaction.

"Ha! What do you think? Is it that easy to handle Cabir?" Navya chuckled asking so.

"Aisa kya karta hai Jester?" Nandini laughed out questioning.

"List ginane mein din lag jayenge. So let's go for what we have come!" This time Navya dragged the girls along with her.

One thing was clear.

CaVya's relationship had no room for fear and doubt.

*touchwood*

Meanwhile on other side.

Manik was in the jam room sitting leisurely doing practically nothing but strumming his guitar. Cabir entered the room whistling some song which gained Manik's attention.

"Lets jam!" Cabir rubbed his palms saying so.

"Oh..kayyy but where is Mukti?" Manik asked after realizing that Cabir entered alone and Mukti wasn't there.

"She is not here?" Cabir asked back little amused.

"Na, subah se hi nahi dekha." He shrugged. "Nandini ko bhi." He added.

"I toh thought Nandini should be with you or Navya." Cabir spoke thoughtfully.

"Why? Why should Nandini be with me?" He passed him his pissed look.

"It is true. As per of Cabir's law of understanding?" Cabir patted his back saying so.

"What?" Manik frowned deep listening his nonsense.

"Cabir's law of understanding stands for, the place where Manik will be present is directly proportional to the place where Nandini will be." Cabir calmly explained him.

"What are even speaking?" Manik uttered in utter disbelief.

"Arey jaha Manik hoga waha Nandini hogi hi!" He simplified.

"Shut up." Manik hissed. Cabir grinned proudly and took his drum sticks and slowly followed the beat.

"Cabir..." Manik initiated.

"Bhok." He responded.

"I have.... kind of realized what I feel for Nandini." Initially Manik hesitated but then blurted out what he wanted.

"Okay!" Cabir plainly replied.

"What okay?" He got extremely confused upon listening his plain reply. Wasn't he the one who was desperately trying to get him and Nandini together?

"Bro I knew this. And let me give you so free Cabir ka gyaan." Manik rolled his eyes knowing some drama is about to come. "When a girl is in love, nobody knows except the girl, and when a boy is in love, everyone will know except the girl." Cabir completed and ended up chuckling.

"Ya ya. Shut up." Manik spat, again getting busy with his guitar, strumming it.

"Acha woh chod, tu bata. When are you planning to confess?" Cabir questioned beating his drums mildly.

"WHAT? CONFESS?"Manik shouted shockingly.

"Why are you shouting bro? Okay, another Cabir ka gyaan." Manik shut his eyes in irritation. "When someone is in love, they confess to the person they love. Confessing means admitting." As Cabir ended, Manik placed his guitar back, marched towards Cabir and held his neck in his palms, choking him.

"You'll . definitely . be . dead . today." He gritted pressing his neck even more. Cabir somehow struggled got out of his hold.

"Kamine Navya vidwa ho jayegi." Cabir glared him rubbing his neck.

"Abey you aren't married yet!" Manik smacked his head saying so.

"So what? I am her boyfriend na. Ab government ko boyfriend ke marne par bhi koi term dena chahiye." Cabir placed his index finger on his chin thinking so.

"Very good point ha. Parliament mein uthana ha?" Manik passed him his lip tight smile and walked back to his chair.

"Back to the topic. Confession?" Cabir raised his eyebrow asking so. Manik looked at him and then back to his guitar, strumming it, getting drown in deep thoughts.

He knows that he has to confess. Manik has realized that Nandini wants him to take the first step. Not because she was shying or anything. She has assured him way too much leave any room for insecurities. And this time, it was his turn to assure her.

To say that he'll try to be there whenever she needs him.

That it will always be her.

He desperately wanted to show her that he doesn't wants her, but need.

A great relationship doesn't happen because of the love you had in the beginning, but how well you continue building love until the end.

One of the best things about love is, love cures people- both, the ones who give it and the ones who receive it.

Nandini gave him the love he needed. She cured him.

And now it was his turn.

And he wanted to do this.

This time....

For her!

***

"Navya calm down baba." Nandini said to her best friend who was freaking out.

"Nandini I am gonna kill you." Navya gritted pulling her hairs.

"Do it na. For Cabir?" Nandini played her trump card. Navya huffed and slapped Nandini's arms.

"I hate you bitch." Navya glared saying so.

"Ya ya!" Nandini chuckled. Meanwhile Mukti entered.

"Here, we've got the appointment. Let's go." Mukti grinned while Nandini clapped excitedly.

"Chalo." Saying this, Nandini along with trio moved inside.

A few hours later.

"Damn it pained so freaking much." Navya wiped her last drop of tear saying so.

"It did. But outcome is going to be amazing." Nandini gleed.

"Yes." Mukti seconded.

"I hope Cabir has no problem with it." Navya said biting her nails nervously.

"He loves you." Nandini passed her a pissed looking upon saying this.

"Just let that get heal for next two weeks. Be careful." Mukti reminded them to which they nodded. Soon enough the girls left for the college in order to complete their remaining classes.

Being dead tired after the long, Nandini dragged her feet to Manik who was in the parking lot.

"Let's go?" Manik asked seeing approaching.

"Yes please." Nandini sighed.

"You look tired." Manik said taking the driver seat.

"Yes. It was a tiring day. I just need to and snuggle myself into the duvet with some amazing movie." Nandini took the passenger seat saying so. Manik chuckled and drove away to their apartment.

Within ten to fifteen minutes they reached their apartments. It was just 6 by that time. They had their famous hot chocolate, sitting in the same balcony, having some conversation or sometimes silently sipping their respective drinks.

Post hot chocolate, duo...or should I say Nandini decided to have a glance through her book and study for a while. On the other hand Manik thought to make some music, which went pretty well. Though Nandini thought to retire to bed but then completing few portions of her academics was also necessary.

Now it was 8 PM. Nandini was all set with the duvet and a thought of watching which movie. Soon enough Manik took place beside her and wrapped himself into the duvet he brought. Nandini excitedly put on the movie while Manik's face lost all its colors seeing the movie name.

It chapter two?

Manik snapped towards Nandini to witness her watching the movie with utmost fun. He gulped a huge amount of saliva and transfered his entire attention to the popcorns and soft drinks.

"Manik movie bhi dekho." Nandini said seeing him.

"Ya..." He trailed off. Mustering up an ample amount of courage, he looked back at the screen and the moment he did, a big ugly figure popped out on the screen resulting in Manik to scream to the loudest. "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH."

Nandini flinched to no extent after hearing his wince. Manik hurriedly picked up the remote and paused the movie, taking deep breaths to calm himself.

"Why the hell are these scary movies so scary." Manik shouted in frustration. Nandini giggled seeing him so scared.

He looked so cute.

"You are scared of horror movies?" Nandini muffled her giggles asking so. Manik looked here and there nodding in no. "How can someone not fall in love with a cutie like you."

All the fear and anxiety vanished into a thin air. Manik's head harshly snapped in her direction in utter shock. While Nandini, unaware of her words and the effects it had on Manik, continued watching the movie after resuming it.

"Did...umm." Manik stammered initially. "Did you just say you love me?" He boldly asked without any fear.

His question made Nandini stop her every act. Whether it was stuffing popcorn in her mouth or giggling or the excited look.

Everything just halted.

Nandini recalled the words she uttered. Unconsciously or involuntarily.

But she did.

Manik looked at her for some answer while she just bit her lips, gaze still at the screen.

Though not paying any attention to the movie.

This time Nandini gulped a huge amount of saliva along with those left over popcorns in her mouth. She slowly started turning her head in his direction only to find him looking at her for some answers.

Her eyes were wide open while his eyes spoke volumes in terms of questions.

Her lips were under the pressure of her tooth while his lips were zipped in order to find some answers from her lips.

Her breath were as wild as a silent storm while his breath were as calm as a raging fire.

Crimson color dropped on her cheeks and Manik got his answers.

Though he wanted to hear it ones again, and this time clearly.

She averted her gaze from his face which was making her loose the color her cheeks used to possess making Manik's lips to stretch bit by bit and eventually causing it to smile.

She snuggled herself into the duvet while Manik NOW happily started watching the movie.

Day got its best ending.

And now Manik did knew what to do...

Next day

It was a bright fresh morning and the drowsy black and blue clouds were on the top of their heads due to the excitement of the feeling they are getting.

As the smell of the clouds struck her nose, the eyes of our heroine flickered open along with a breathtaking smile that could take anyone's heart away, welcoming a new and fresh morning. Stretching her muscles, tucking the bedsheet and taking a pair of clothes, she was all set to kick start a bright fresh day.

On the other side our hero was already up waiting for her to wake up, which happens once in a blue moon. Yes he had something in his mind for today but along with that when he woke up, his eyes showed a different hope today. It held positivity and happiness in abundance. This has never happened to him before.

Reason behind this was not because what was going to happen today. It was simply because he was willing to change himself for her...

Coming back to their routine, Nandini saw a Manik who was...cooking?

(Author: Their dresses. Two in one😂)

But what shocked her even more was he was actually dancing. He could not see her as was exactly behind him.

Pagal Yeh Pagal Woh
Pagal Kar de Jahan Bhi Ye Jaye
Dekho karta Hai Kaisa Deewana Sabko..

The song was playing and he was singing along. He was playing with the fruit rotating it and shaking his hips simultaneously. Nandini palmed her mouth to prevent herself from laughing out loud.

Mera Naam Bhi Shin Chan Hai
Mein Shararat Se Bhara
Badi Mushkil Mein Padi
Meri Family Nohara....

Her eyes widened when he began to couple dance with the fruits. Biting her lips in mischievousness, she tried imitating the steps he was doing which looked so funny.

(Author: forgive but something like this 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣)

She then saw him cutting those fruits, still continuing with his dance.

C'mon Baby C'mon Baby
Aao Karen Dance Shuru...

Just when he twirled around, in reflex Nandini bent and moved behind the sofa. Well she thought why to disrupt the beautiful show she was getting.

Lol.

Zorse Ghume Hum Tum Jhoome
Nacho Nacho
Dekho Sabko Hila Doon...

Peeking up from the sofa, she saw him shaking his head, matching with the rhythm and adding chocolate sauce on the pancakes he made. Chuckling to herself, she slowly got up from that place and quickly hid behind the pillar that stood in front of the kitchen.

It was a position like Manik in the kitchen facing front and Nandini hiding behind the pillar facing the same direction as his.

Kabhi Yeh Uchhalta
Kabhi Yeh Machalta Hai
Har Dum Bekaboo...

He swayed his legs expertly

(Author: damnn🤣🤣 Manik moved like this towards the slab and came back the same way)

And picked cups from the slab and came back to the kitchen counter. Pouring the hot chocolate in those cups, he swayed those cups from his hands, again twirling and placing those cups on table along with the pancakes.

Roz Yeh Karta Hai
Nayi Nayi Gadbad
Tumko Hasa Dega Shin Chan..!!

"SHINCHAAANNNNNN." Even Nandini shouted along with Manik. He jumped at this place and turned around to find her laughing to no extent, leaning towards the pillar.

She thought he'll get awkward but instead he her hand, pulled her towards himself and twirled her, surprising her.

Twirling her, he made her sit on the chair and himself occupying the opposite chair.

"Good morning." Manik wished as he took his seat.

"Good morning." Nandini wished him back. "Subah subah itni high energy?"

"Yepp." He shrugged off. Nandini grinned and then looked at the breakfast he made.

"I never knew that you know how to cook?" Nandini said in amused tone.

"I did. It's just I never cooked." He again shrugged.

"Whyyyy?" She accused.

"Because you are there na." He yawned. She made an extremely bad face after listening him. Manik himself served her the little salad he made with few pancakes and hot chocolate was toh complementary.

"It's so good." Nandini moaned after tasting the cakes he made.

"I know." He smirked proudly. Nandini rolled her eyes seeing Mr. Self Obsessed. Nevertheless the continued having their breakfast with some conversation in between. "By the way, what are your plans for today?" He asked casually.

"What plans?" She asked back. "No plans nothing. I've been missing a lot of classes lately, so today only college."

"Just tremendous." He murmured. "Okay, so when will you be back?" He asked out loud.

"By four thirty my classes must get over. I even have to visit library and submit my assignment and projects." She counted. "So by 5 I'll be free." She announced.

"Cool." He replied shortly.

"What about you?" She questioned.

"Well Cabir informed me yesterday that someone wants to sign us after our performance at New York Theatre Festival. So will meet them." Nandini's eyes twinkled listening him.

"Really? That's great!" She exclaimed.

"I know right." He grinned as he stuffed his mouth with the last piece of his pancake. Nandini followed by Manik kept the dirty dishes in the sink and were all set to leave for college.

"Will meet at five?" Manik asked buckling his seat belt.

"Yep sure." Nandini replied. "But where?"

"Lets see." He bit his lips saying so. Nandini shrugged and switched on the radio.

"Haste haste, kat jaye raste....Zindagi yuhi chalti rahe." It sang.

"Khushi mile ya ghum, badle na hum. Duniya chahe badalti rahe." They happily sang together crossing the paths leading to a journey...

For a lifetime may be?

***

The day passed very very normally. Just as they told. Nandini was hell busy with her classes, notes, assignment, projects. Thankfully Navya was accompanying her throughout. Both best friends were having their gala time after so many days.

"Yaar, kitne notes hai." Nandini groaned in frustration after writing down the functions of fallopian tubes.

"Medical tune hi li hai." Navya passed her a lip tight smile saying so. Nandini made a bad face and continued with the parts a reproductive system consist of. Navya's stream was music, so she had practically nothing to do.

"Oyee chudail." Nandini called out while Navya shot her a glare. "Don't look like that. You look more like a dayan now." Nandini giggled listening which Navya pulled out her hairs making her scream.

"Tu hai chudail." Navya huffed.

"Acha sun. I think I am done for the day." Nandini said peeking a glance at her watch which shown four. "Lets go and meet others. Unki meeting khatam ho gayi hogi na."

Meanwhile on other side:

"So Mr. Malhotra and gang, is the deal on?" A man asked. Mukti, Cabir and Manik passed each other a look and then nodded.

"Sure Mr. Goenka." Manik replied shaking his hand with him as he got up from his seat followed by Mukti and Cabir.

"So when can I expect the songs to be ready?" Mr. Goenka asked getting up from his seat and setting his coat.

"We'll let you know that." Cabir answered to which Mr. Goenka nodded.

"You have a PA?" He threw another question. Trio closed their eyes in irritation but then nodded in no.

"We never needed a one." Mukti responded.

"But I think we'll need a one now." Cabir whispered to Manik and Mukti who passed him a confused look. "Bro its obvious we won't be able to manage our accounts, concerts, songs all together. We have colleges too. We'll need a one." He explained. Manik and Mukti shared an understanding look and looked back at Mr. Goenka who was patiently waiting for them to answer.

"We'll see if we can hire someone." Manik said shortly.

"Well if you don't mind can I help?" Mr. Goenka offered genuinely.

"I don't think that's a good..."

"Just a suggestion. If you won't like then I won't mind either." He intervened Manik and spoke truthfully.

"Fine." Manik sighed out.

"Kiara." Mr. Goenka called out. After a moment, a very slim girl entered with short hairs, little long nose, tall height and little fitting clothes.

"Yes?" Kiara asked.

"If you guys don't mind, can she be your PA?" Mr. Goenka asked and that was the time when Kiara noticed Manik. Manik was quiet preoccupied in his phone. He looked up as he was called out. Glancing at the girl ones he again averted his attention on his phone.

"Mr. Goenka, she...?" Cabir trailed off unaware of how to complete his question.

"Yes she's my daughter. She has just completed her MBA, and I was looking for some good internship." He answered.

"Then why not your office?" Mukti asked a valid question. Manik and Cabir looked upon him, waiting for his answer.

"If she would've joined my office, then the things might have turned up quiet easier. Which I don't want." Mr. Goenka replied.

"Okay?" Mukti looked at the rest of her friends of an answer. Manik was least interested in this PA business, and Cabir?

He wasn't just feeling good. It felt as if the atmosphere has turned very black all of a sudden. He dint knew, if he was the only one here feeling that way or not. But the vibes weren't good. He always believed that vibe always spoke louder than any word could.

And this vibe wasn't good.

At all.

"Cabir, Mukti its five now. Lets end this quickly." Manik pleaded a little to which they promptly nodded. He wasn't comfortable now. And the weird part is, the reason was unknown to him.

"Okay. Um..what is her name?" Mukti pondered.

"Kiara." Kiara said.

"Ya right. Fine Mr. Goenka. As you say." Mukti shurgged.

"But." Manik finally spoke. "This is a professional relationship only. I hope you understand that." He strictly said to them.

"Of course." My. Goenka agreed.

"We may take your leave now." Cabir smiled and Manik, Mukti along with Kiara moved out.

"What are your names?" Kiara tried to start a conversation halting their movements. Cabir and Mukti shared a glance and spoke their respective names. Kiara looked at Manik, expecting an answer but found him to be occupied with his phone.

"Ha ha baba coming." Manik spoke over the phone. "Na you wait, We'll leave together. Yep...See you...Yes baba, bye." The phone call ended and he turned towards Mukti and Cabir who were listening his one sided conversation. "Navya Nandini and Abhi are waiting for us. Lets go." Listening this, the trio hurriedly left not before glancing Kiara ones.

"Nandini?" Kiara murmured to herself.

***

"I am so happy for you guys!" Navya exclaimed excitedly after receiving the news and hugged Cabir. "All the best." She wished coming out the hug.

"I know right. That's great." Abhi grinned side hugging Mukti who just in return wrapped her hands around him.

And Nandini? Her wide smile shown how much elated she was from this news. Her twinkling eyes were proof to that.

"Lets celebrate?" Mukti asked excitedly.

"NO!" Manik almost shouted taking them by surpise.

"What no bro?" Cabir frowned. "Come on. Its time to celebrate."

"Um.." Manik stammered. "We can celebrate ones the album is out right?" Manik reasoned. He averted his gaze seeing Cabir's suspicious gaze.

"Tera koi plan hai na?' Cabir interrogated listening which Manik's eyes went wide.

"Na!" He replied shortly. "Nandini lets leave?" Nandini nodded and bid byes to them.

"Guys I have a plan." Abhi smirked saying so gaining everyone else's attention.

"Pyar hua ikraar hua, pyar se phir kyu darta hai dil?" Radio sang as duo moved towards the place.

(Plug in the song if possible. PLEASEEEEE😗😗)

"Keheta hai dil rasta mushkil, maloom nahi hai kaha manzil." This time Nandini sang along while Manik whistled as background voice.

Journey without a destination is a journey to remember for lifetime....

"Kaho ki apni preet ka geet na badlega kabhi." Manik sang along melodiously making Nandini grinned wide. He wanted to know, he wanted her to say. That their love won't ever change its tune.

"Tum bhi kaho is raah ka meet na badlega kabhi." Nandini sang, continuing the conversation they were having through this song. Even she wanted to hear from him, that where ever the life takes them, the partner won't change. Right? "Pyaar jo toota, saath jo chhoota."

"Chaand na chamkega kabhi..." They trailed off together and looked at each other with a contented smile.

The gust of wind splashed across their faces. Nandini's hairs were responding to the wind equally and in opposite direction. And then what next we saw was them having small yet peaceful smile on their lips. The radio continued to shower its love through the songs.

Indeed they kept their promises alive till the present time.

Isn't it?

"Raatein dason dishaaon se kahengi apni
kahaaniyaan
Geet hamaare pyaar ke dohraayegi
jawaaniyaan
Main na rahoongi, tum na rahoge
Phir bhi rahengi nishaaniyaan."

Din't they prove these four lines to be true?

The night from all direction did whisper their stories.

The song of their love was sung in future too.

They both won't reside forever, but the imprint they left will reside forever.

Won't it?

The halting of car snapped Nandini out of her thoughts. She frowned deep when they were not in front of their apartment, but somewhere else. Manik unbuckled his seat belt and held Nandini's hands, pulling her along with him.

"Kaha Manik?" She tried asking. Manik did not answer but kept walking. After a walking for a few distance, Manik stopped and turned towards Nandini. She was dumbstruck seeing the place.

It is so beautiful. And there they were standing. In the middle. Away from all that is happening outside.

Just them

"Its beautiful." She whispered still taking in the place's beauty.

"We are here for a reason." Manik whispered back.

"What reason?" She whisper-asked turning towards him.

"You know the reason too." He whisper-replied. She sucked in a deep breathe when the puff of strong wind struck their faces.

He took a step towards her, looking down all this while. Her eyes were constantly on his face, while his eyes were, for the first time, were not able to match hers.

"Manik." Nandini called out softly. His gaze was still stuck down.

Not because of any shame, guilt or anger.

But because of the feeling.

A very simple feeling.

He took a deep breathe and finally looked up at her. He found her looking at him with everything she had.

"You've given me too much of yourself Nandini." Manik whispered cupping her right cheek with his left hand.

"I am glad about that." She murmured joining her forehead with his.

And then that is how they were standing for the next few minutes allowing wind to gush through them.

Allowing their hairs to flow in the direction they wanted.

Allowing their breaths to get fastened.

Allowing their heartbeat to raise per second.

"That's it Nandini." He spoke opening his eyes.

"That's it what?" She wanted to question, but kept mum.

"I cannot take this anymore." He sighed in extreme displeasure and defeat.

"Manik look at me." She held her chin and made him look at her. "Now tell me. What happened." She asked him softly.

"It's not happening." Nandini's eyes spoke fear. But she was too master in hiding those. Right now all that matters is...

HIM.

"Tell me Manik." She rubbed his arms, comforting him.

"You know my feelings for you right?" What she suppose to say now? She did know. But at this moment if something goes wrong, she doesn't wants him to stay in some guilt.

"Manik I..."

"Shh.." He shushed her. "I know you do. And I know what you feel. For me." He said taking away her breath.

"Manik." She breath out.

"Nandini." He exhaled deeply. "Okay that's it." He backed off suddenly, surprising her.

"Manik you are scaring me." She confessed, shivering.

"Look at that sun Nandini." He pointed towards the opposite direction from where they could see the sun setting down beautifully. But today Nandini couldn't feel that beauty because her man was just so much into making puzzles. "Somebody told me ones. That sunsets are the proof that some endings are worth it." Nandini's lips started shivering, her gaze still stuck to the sun.

"Manik just don't....Please just don't." Her lips quivered while praying so to herself.

He isn't going to...is he?

"Nandini." He called out. She gulped the knot that was formed in her throat and turned to look him. He slowly walked towards her and held both her hands in his, pulling them towards him. "But I never want this to end." He sighed out taking her off guard.

"What?" Escaped from her lips.

"I am not perfect Nandini. I can never be." Manik spoke looking straight at her. Clouds who specially came out today to witness the scene they were wishing for, from many days, poured out their entire turmoil, drenching the duo for whatever was coming up. Droplets did nothing but added the soul to whatever that was coming.

"Par aap hi ne mujhe sikhaya hai. That humans are not meant to be perfect. Its the relationship which has to be." He whispered out. Nandini's eyes were ready to pour out before."So..."

A loud gasp escaped her lips when he steadily bent down in front of her, and finally kneeling down on both his knees.

His eyes were still stuck to her's and his hands were still holding her's.

"Manik what are you doing." She freaked out.

"Nandini."

"Manik get up. People are seeing us." She tried pulling him up but her efforts were of no use.

"I cannot see anything Nandini." Manik halted her actions. "Other than that life which I want to spend with you. You know everything about me Nandini. I am good or I am bad or what so ever, I am yours." He spoke out.

Clouds still pouring, her lips still shivering, his eyes still longing, their hearts still accelerating and their souls still drenching.

"Manik." Her heartbeat was not in her favor either.

On the one side she wanted his to happen. She wanted him to come up first.

And now when this is finally happening, the feeling she's going through is just so...indiscribable.

"I am not from those who can write long speeches on love and narrate it. Because I..I just cannot. Not now, not in future. I am a simple guy Nandini. You've made me such a different person. The person I never thought of. And I am glad about that." He poured out everything he had in his heart. Though not everything can be worded, but he tried at least. To make her understand. "You are very important to me. Movies mein dekhta tha ki how stupid love is." He chuckled dryly making her heart soar.

"Ab samajh aa raha hai ki khud se zyada kisi ko chahna kya hota hai. And that is just because of you. Share my life with me. Allow me to share your life. Be mine Nandini, when I am already yours." He shook her hands a little, pleading for a chotu sa corner for him in her heart.

Her knees gave and she slumped down to his level. His eyes matched hers and hands still connected.

"Itna kuch bol diya. Main part toh bolo." She chuckled emotionally when the tears eloped down the cheeks getting mixed with the rain droplets. Manik cupped her cheeks and rubbed his thumb over it, as if rubbing those tears. His free hand wrapped around her waist and pulled her closer fastening her nerves. He leaned down to her ears and let his warm breathe fall over. And his next words made Nandini clutch his arms tightly.

"I love you." He whispered to his world which did nothing but loose her sanity. Just when he was about to come out from her hairs, she wrapped her arms around his nape and hid her face into his neck letting go few tears. "I love you very very much Nandini." He again whispered wrapping his arms around her waist pulling her closer.

She sobbed in his arms, he smiled within the tears.

Nothing could be thought of at this very moment, except for the present they are living.

Who thought that The Ambivert Manik Malhotra, a reserved person, happy with his friend, focusing on his dreams would fall for The Extrovert Nandini Murthy who did nothing but changed his life in 360 degrees.

Who thought that the individuals who fought on the very first day they met would be hugging each other to life, confessing what they felt.

Who thought that one New York darshan could change that equation so beautifully that it gave birth to an unnamed relationship.

A beautiful and unnamed relationship...

Which now got a name.

Though that unnamed relationship phase had its own beauty. It had its own aura. Because that was the only phase where they actually explored each other and came to a conclusion that life without each other would not be a life.

It wasn't an end to that unnamed relationship but was a beginning to a beautiful relationship that blossomed between two imperfect individual whose life is going to take a complete turn.

Souls and bodies drenched in the love of rain just mingled and created a magic.

Manik came out of the hug and looked at her who now had a beautiful smile on his face. She found him looking at her, expecting something. Nandini raised her eyebrows asking what?

"What what? Ab aapki bari." Manik said frowning.

"Kya bari Manik?" Nandini frowned too.

"Nandini." He whined.

"Kya?" She again questioned.

"Now you have to reply to my proposal na." Manik complained frowning. He looked very cute though.

"Do I?" She sheepishly asked.

"OBVIOUSLY!" He loudly exclaimed, eyes wide open.

What? He was also eager to hear those words.

"Oh....Kay!" She took a deep breath while Manik looked at her excitedly. "I..."

"I..." He repeated.

"I..."

"I...?" This time questioning.

"I..."

"Arey ab I ke aage bhi bolo na." He made extremely bad face.

"Let's get up first. Knees must be paining." He then realized that indeed his knees were paining. Duo got up. There was no use to dusting their clothes as rain is already drenching them.

Before Nandini could walk away, Manik held her hand preventing her to walk ahead. He jerked her towards himself and took her in the back hug. Her wet back collided with his wet front making them close their eyes in pure bliss.

"I won't leave you today." He tightened his hold around her and murmured in her ears sending shiver down her spine. "So tell me."

She knew she had to speak now and it's not that she wasn't willing to. But it's just that teasing Manik had its own fun. She looked down for a moment and then turned towards him. She took a step back and knelt in front of him.

"Nandini?" He gasped. She his hand in hers and smiled wide.

"I love you. More than my chocolates." Nandini confessed grinning wide.

Though Manik wanted to hear these words but she kneeling down in front of him was something he could not accept. How can you expect him to be fine when he sees his girl kneeling down in front of him.

No chance

"First get up." He pulled her up using the hand she was holding and pulled her closer from her waist. His right hand entwined with her left, his other hand on her waist and her right hand wrapped around his neck. "Never do this." He sternly said confusing her.

"Never do what?" She asked confused.

"Don't kneel down in front of me. I don't like that." Manik passed her a pissed look saying so.

"Then why did you knelt?" She raised her eyebrows asking so.

"I wasn't kneeling. I was bending." He shrugged.

"It means the same." Nandini too shrugged.

"No it doesn't." He disagreed. "Kneeling is possible in front of anyone but a man bends down only in front of his woman." He explained kissing her forehead fondly.

"And a woman bends down only in front of her man and you are mine." Nandini tip-toed and placed a warm kiss on his forehead.

"We are seriously not going to argue on this topic today. Please." Manik chuckled. "I love you okay?" He embraced her, hiding his face into her hairs and she hiding her face into his neck.

"I love you too." She responded.

"Ahh don't say too." He again came out of the hug. "It feels like you are agreeing with me." Manik made a bad face seeing which Nandini chuckled and again pushed herself into his chest.

"Nandini." He called out after sometime. She hummed. "Let's go inside the car." Saying this he dragged towards the car and made her sit on the passenger seat, he himself occupying the driver one.

He then turned towards the back seat and was trying to take something. Nandini frowned and tried asking what was he searching for. Manik did not reply and continued searching for the thing he wanted. Upon getting what he wanted, he sat erect and turned towards her.

"Look. It was all very sudden so I did not bring any ring." Manik scratched his nape embarrassingly. "But I have this." He shown her the chocolate which twinkled Nandini's eyes. She snatched the bar from him and unwrapped it mercilessly. "Mera bhi share hai isme." Manik reminded her.

"Why?" She frowned hard, hiding the chocolate behind her as if saving it's from him.

"Just now you said you love me more than chocolates." He demanded.

"But that doesn't means I don't love chocolates." She replied. He glared her playfully. "Acha okay." She broke the chocolate into three by four. Having the latter part by herself, she passed the other 'less than half' to Manik.

No doubt foodie couple

*face palms*

Their relationship was different.

Instead of those dates, grand proposals and expensive gifts. They started caring loving and respecting each other.

They are just in love with each other. A love which they cannot unlove.

A love that is going to tie them up forever.

Even when far...

🤔🤔

Uffffff

Such a long one.

Before moving further, just read this last note:

Shame on those KYYIANS who spoke shit about the movie that came on 18th of February. I did mention about this on my message board and I am mentioning it here ones again.

I know world doesn't sees hardwork and bothers only about the outcome. But aren't we smart and sensible enough to see their efforts?

Come on. ITS MANAN

Don't you value them enough to see their efforts?

There is a way to give reviews. That decency should be maintained isn't it? Reviews are truly respected if words are given out respectfully.

MaNan has given us something very special.

Don't just forget that....

PLEASE no shit about it.

At least not in front of me. Or else my wrath isn't a treat to watch.
