I THOUGHT, Basco and Mahatao are enough to make me amazed by the beautiful place of it. But, seeing Sabtang Island makes me more fascinated to the max.
This small Island makes my eyes fell more I love with the beautiful surrounding.
We rented a vehicle way to the famous stone houses here in Sabtang.
The durability of the houses are attracting me as well as the uniqueness of it.
“Kapian capa nu dios.” The woman suddenly speak as she bow her head.
My mouth fell out and just look at Seve.
“What did she say?” I ask him.
“I don't know!” He shrug. Inirapan ko ito.
“Ate, I think she's speaking using their language. Wala ba kahit Tagalog manlang?” February chuckle.
“Hindi ko maintindihan. Baka mamaya minumura na pala tayo.” January added.
Napailing ako. Isa rin 'to!
We headed inside the house made by a rock. Napamangha ako sa tayog ng pagkakagawa.
After we eat our lunch we decided to tour at the island. We stop from the Sabtang Church. We took a picture serves as a memories of us. Pagkatapos ay tinungo naman namin ang Sabtang Lighthouse.
That day, we really enjoyed looking at the beautiful island of Sabtang.
FRIDAY morning we go back to the city after three days vacation. Seve and I parted our ways while my sisters are with me. We went to my house and mom texted me mamaya pa ang flight nila pauwi.
I went to my mini office to check my emails and reply to every messages from my friends and work related.
Aly texted me that we have an emergency board meeting at 2pm. Mr. Douglas neglect his responsibility and someone scam him. He's one of our investor.
Napahilot ako sa aking ulo. Darn! Seriously! Normal lang ba talaga ma stress after vacation?
Tinapos ko ang kontrata with Atty. Rovlez and send it via email. I also open the newest contract with Engr. Angeles and Mr. Samson.
“WE lost about a million pesos, Ma'am since Mr. Pineda left together with the money from us. He's nowhere to be found. He also widraw all of his assets on our company.” I look at Mr. Douglas right now while he was bowing his head.
“Call Atty. Pascua, Aly. Set an appointment to him as soon as possible. Mr. Enriquez, I trust you to handle this thing and talk to Atty. Pascua. I owe you this.” I want to burst out in frustration. “We have to fix this as the week end.”
Napakawalang hiya talaga ng matandang 'yon. The first time I laid my eyes at him, hindi ko gusto ang presensya niya. Darn!
“Am I late?” I suddenly saw Seve. Mabilis akong nagbalik ng tingin.
“All we have to do is to take care of our actions and decisions. Hindi lahat ng nasa paligid mo, dapat mo ng pagkatiwalaan. I'm saying this to learn from mistake not to brag you down.”
A million of pesos cost too much. Even if I'm an architect and have a good job, malaking kawalan pa rin 'yon. Thinking that we just give it to a charity or donate it to the poor people, mas napakinabangan pa. Mr. Pineda is such a devil. He will rot in jail, I swear.
Our meeting took almost two hours. Nagsialisan rin naman pagkatapos namin mapag usapan ang mahahalagang bagay tungkol sa proyekto at plano ng kompanya.
I head back to my office upstairs. Palabas palang ako ng elevator ng sumalubong sa akin ang lalaking ayaw kong makita.
“December!”
“Aly, I told you not to entertain him anymore. Anong ginagawa niya dito?” I ask my secretary seriously.
“Ma'am nagpupumilit ho kasi si Mr. Lazarus.”
“December.” He held my hands. I glare at him horribly.
“Leave Mr. Lazarus or else I will call the guards downstairs.” Ang kapal kapal ng mukha nito.
Mainit na nga ang ulo ko ay mas lalo niya lamang pinapainit lalo.
“...I already clear everything, Mr. Lazarus! And I hope you'll understand my decision. Please, be professional.” I told him coldly.
“Babe, I will not stop from begging you. Let's just fix our relationship.” He said.
I laugh sarcastically at him as I walk towards my office.
Nababaliw na yata ang lalaking 'to! As far as I remember, wala naman akong pinakain na gayuma sa kanya o kung ano pa man para magpakatanga ito sa akin.
I was about to lock the door of my office as he suddenly follow me. He even pinned me on wall as he grab my hands.
“December...I'm begging you.” He said. Mabilis kong iniwas ang aking mukha at tinulak ito.
“Stop your craziness, Mateo. Ano ba bitawan mo ako.”
“Tangina...” I was about to push me as he finally landed on the floor.
“Who are you to punch me!” I saw the blood at the side of his lips.
“You're such a jerk, aren't you!”
“Seve stop it...” I pulled him as he punch his face again.
“Tangina, you're educated yet hindi mo pinapagana ang pagiging edukado mo.” Dinuro niya ito.
“Seve I said stop it.” Itinulak ko ito palayo kay Mateo.
“Mr. Lazarus, if I we're you stay away from me. Wala kang mapapala sa akin. Our relationship already ended, ilang beses ko ba 'yong ipapamukha sayo.”
“No, babe. Don't do this...”
“Aba't gago ka pala..” Seve was about to punch him again but I stop him.
“Just send him outside...” I told the guards as they go inside my office.
I massage my head as I went to my table. Fuck! This day is freaking stressing the hell out of me.
I close my eyes as I tried to calm myself.
“Baby since when he disturb you? Tangina naman!”
“Just shut up, Cervix Nicklaus. You're not helping.” I keep massaging my head.
Napakaraming babae dyan at hindi ko alam kung bakit sa akin niya ipinipilit ang sarili niya.
My office filled with silence.
“Umuwi na tayo!” I heard Seve's cold voice to me. I sarcastically laugh at him secretly.
“Now, you're mad at me?” I shook my head at him. Unbelievable in a way na wala naman akong ginagawa mali.
I heard his deep sigh.
“Mauna ka na. I'll wait for Kelra and Rhinox.” I told him.
“And your going outside? Fuck, December. Umuwi na tayo. Ihahatid kita.” I glare at him.
“I'm seeing my friends, Cervix Nicklaus. Alam mo, kung aawayin mo lang ako mabuti umalis ka na. You're not even relieving my nerves.” I close my eyes again.
I've waited to hear the door open for him to go out. Ngunit ilang minuto pa ang lumipas ay nanatili lamang na tahimik ang loob ng opisina ko.
“What are you looking for? Leave, Seve. Let's just talk tomorrow!” Beside, ayoko ng dagdagan ang pagkainit ng ulo niya.
“No! If you don't want to come with me, then ako ang sasama sayo.” My eyebrows raise as I look at him. But he just glare at me using his death look.
“Wala akong ginagawang masama para awayin mo ko, Seve. I never did something bad for you to get mad at me.” He remain silent.
“Hey, hey to our architect friend.” Our silence break with Kelra's voice as they get inside.
“Hi there, Seve. What's the matter? Ang serious serious natin ngayon. Are you two fighting?” I also heard Rhinox voice.
“Ask your friend then.” Napairap ako.
“Let's go! Saan tayo pupunta?” I ask them as I stood up and get my things.
“Teka, sandali lang ha! Ano 'yang nasa daliri mo, buwan? Who gave you that.” Rhinox.
“Is that an engagement ring, friend?” Kelra added.
I just ignored them. “Tara na!” I sighed heavily.
“No, answer us first! May tinatago ka ba samin, architect? Seve, tell us the truth. Alam mo, pag uumpugin ko kayong dalawa.” Kelra cross her arms.
“Stop being a child lovebirds. Ano! Darn, when it comes to sex nagkakasundo kayo. Magkaaway ba kayo?” Masama ko lamang na tinapunan ng tingin ang Rhinox na ang talim ng bibig.
“Kaya nga! Ano ba 'yan, friend. Patingin nga ako.” Kelra even held my hand.
“Hoy, Cervix Nicklaus 'yung totoo? Ano magtititigan nalang ba tayo?”
“Ask your attitude friend, Rhinox.” Seve blurted out. Tinaliman ko lang ito ng tingin.
“Woah, what the hell is happening? Seriously, you're too old enough with these. Alam niyo, let's have some fun. I'm quite sure na titiklop rin kayo pagdating sa kama mamaya.” I curse at Kelra.
Mga kaibigan ko ba talaga 'to? Their mouth are so fucking sharp!
Before we head to the bar, we decided to have some snacks and window shopping. I will buy some gifts for Elisa's twins for their christening tomorrow.
“Do you have any plans to confess your relationship with Seve, Buwan? Seriously!” I was busy picking some baby clothes when Rhinox ask me.
“If you two has a problem, then don't involve us!” Kelra added.
“...mateo was following me these past few days.” I started.
I heard them gasp.
“Woah, seriously architect? Is that the reason why you and Seve are not in a good terms right now.”
“Basta alam ko sa sarili ko na wala akong ginagawang masama. Mateo went to my office awhile ago and beg me to fix our relationship.” I stop from picking baby clothes.
“What! He's chasing you?” Rhinox.
“Probably and Seve caught us.” I added.
“Baka naman kasi naging marupok ka sa ex mo.” Kelra said.
“Excuse me! Ako? Marupok! Huwag mo akong itulad sa'yo, Kelra Eliana.” I maybe a marupok, but for Cervix Nicklaus only. Nothing more!
I heard Rhinox laugh of what I said. Kelra suddenly mumble words.
“Okay okay, fine. Now, answer our questions. Are you engaged, December? Tuluyan na bang tumiklop ang Architect namin?” Rhinox ask me again. She's laughing.
“Yes! Happy?” I sarcastically ask.
“Oh my god! Jesus, thank you for this.” Rhinox yelled.
“See, I told you Rhinox. Seve just inherited his semen to buwan kaya ayan...” I slap Kelra's arms.
Oh my god! Talagang walang preno ang bibig nito.
I look at her back and I saw Seve's grinding from ear to ear. Bumalik ma palan ang lalaking 'to.
“Darn, Kelra. You mouth is really really bad..” Nahihiya ako sa kanya.
I turn my back as I finally choose the blue polo shirt paired with mini pants.
“Finally, friend ikakasal ka na. I'm happy for you! Kala namin pang habang buhay ka ng bitter sa buhay.” I rolled my eyes as Rhinox speak.
As I finish picking some gifts for my inaanak, we head to my favorite bikini shop.
Kelra, Rhinox and I choose the same design of two piece. Kahit kailan talaga sa mga kaibigan kong 'to, pati kaluluwa namin ay nailalabas.
“Hey, Seve come here. Um, can you choose what color do you want for December.” Kelra even show the maroon and black bikini to Seve.
I saw him smiled childishly as he look to me.
“Probably the black one..” He said. I rolled my eyes.
“Here, friend. Let's pay for these.” Nauna pa ito sa cashier.
I rolled my eyes as Seve and scold him.
NASA bukana palang kami ng pintuan ng bar, rinig na rinig na kaagad namin ang hiyawan sa loob. The lights are very dim and I suddenly smell the smoke of the cigarette.
We chose to sit in the VIP area upstairs. Kelra eventually order a case of drinks.
We just look at the dancing floor. Everyone is enjoying the night because it's end of the weekdays.
“Cheers to our engaged couple.”
Rhinox suddenly raise the glass as the drink serve to our table.
Napailing ako at kinuha ang kopita.
“Darn, Kelra. What was that? Ang tapang naman nyan.” Rhinox commented as she finally drink.
“Psh, nakakalunok ka nga nga semen tapos...ouch, rhinox.” Rhinox slap her hard.
My mouth fell out. Napatakip nalang ako sa aking mukha sa kahihiyan.
“Kelra!” Rhinox yelled at her. Kelra just laugh. “Hey, Seve drink with us!” Aya nito sa katabi ko.
“Sige lang. I'll watch you.” He said while intently looking at me.
We exchange conversation at each other. Parang kasama ko na rin si February dahil kay Kelra. She's really talkative as hell.
Hours passed, my two friends are really really wasted. I was smiling at them while taking some pictures. It's just eleven in the evening yet nalasing kaagad ang mga ito.
Napapaisip nalang ako kung heart broken ba ang dalawa 'to.
“Let's go!” Nagpatulong kami sa dalawang babaeng staff ng bar ng alalayan ito patungong parking.
Nasa pintuan palang kami when a woman suddenly talk to Seve.
“Long time no see, Nikko!” I saw a blonde woman speak to him.
My eyebrows creased looking at them.
“Loisa, don't touch me.” Iwinaglit nito ang kamay ng babae.
“Don't you miss me? We just had sex since the last time we're together.” I heard her talk.
“Just give me a minute, Miss.” I told to the female staff as I walk to Seve's direction.
“Excuse me Miss.” I said I stand infront of her. “I just wanted to introduce myself as her fiancee.” Pinakita ko sa kanya ang engagement ring ko sa aking daliri.
“And so? Wala akong pake!” She blurted at my face. Pumaskil sa aking labi ang ngisi.
“Baby...tama na.” Seve tried to hold my hands. Mabilis kong iniwas iyon.
“How fearless you are, Miss. Alam kong isa ka rin namang babaeng kahol ng kahol para mapansin nitong fiancee ko. I'm Architect Avellaneda, Miss and if I were you, stay away from Seve. Stay Away From My Fiancee. ” I told her straightly as I walk away from her.
Mabilis kong hinila si Seve paalis doon at tinungo ang parking.
I remain silent as we drop my friends to their home. Nang maihatid namin ay tinungo namin ang aking bahay upang kumuha ng gamit ko. We're actually heading to La Union after.
We reach my house at exactly 12midnight. I even saw the sticky note on the table beside my bed.
“We're going home, Ate. Take care! Love you!” — Jan & Feb
“You mad?” I heard him ask me.
I keep silent as I finally put my things inside the car.
“Let's go, Carlos.” I told my personal driver.
I went inside the car together with my pillow and blanket. My head began aching because of the drinks awhile ago.
“You rest on my lap.” He insist at me but I just scold him.
I prefer to rest on the headboard of the backseat and keep my focus on the road.
“Baby...matagal na 'yon. It's been six months already..”
“I'm not asking for your explanation, Seve.” I said coldly.
“...I just want to clarify things between us.”
“You will never clarify things especially about sex, Seve. You had sex with her and she's into you. What if she chase you?”
I thought, I already accept him being a playboy. Akala ko okay na sa akin na isiping may mga babae itong kinakama noon bukod sa akin.
But, thinking all of them makes me cry. Tangina lang, December.
I close my eyes as I let my small tear fell down to my cheeks. I refuse to think negativity and let myself fell asleep.
But, the way I closed my eyes, I imagine that woman awhile ago. And based for her outside personality, I don't trust her. She fucking looks like a flirty woman and a gold digger bitch.
“Come here, baby...” Nagpumiglas ako ng abutin nito ang aking kamay. “Hey, come here, baby. Look, hindi ko naman pinansin di ba?” Nawalan ako ng lakas ng tuluyan itong umusog sa akin.
He pulled me closer to his body.
“I'm changing right now. And that's because of you!” He caressed my face. “It will not happen again and I promise sayo lang ulit ako makikipag sex..” He whispered the last word.
I didn't mind him and remain my attention outside.
“You know me, at hindi mo ko makukuha sa paganyan ganyan mo.” Still, I scold him.
