I woke up with a slight headache. As I opened my eyes taking in the surroundings around me. Where am I. This is definately not my room. Was I kidnapped 😦. Then the realisation dawned upon me. I am not at my home. Well technically this is my home for this year.

Well hello, myself Avni 😊. I am a cardiologist and I was married yesterday to the biggest arrogant jerk ever.
I usually don't curse but if I am cursing him he deserves it. 🤷🏻♀️
Before starting with my day, let me tell you I do not love my husband we are married just because of the agreement.
What agreement you must be wondering...well that's the story for another time 😉
I stood up from the bed and went towards the bathroom.
If anyone is wondering where is my husband...he is in his room which will be my room as well from tonight. 🤷🏻♀️
Yesterday , I slept in the guest room because of course my husband had to create a scene when we came back here after getting married. ( curses in mind )
Noww, the problem is what to wear. Umm, I would have preferred wearing one piece or something but since it was supposedly my first day as a bride....I would rather wear a saree.
One thing about me is as much as I loved wearing western dresses I also loved wearing indian... especially saree. So ,I finally settled on a red saree. It was beautiful.
I am not getting ready for him...but for me. Ohh my how beautiful I look in this saree 😉❤️
I don't want to accept this but the chura ( red bangles indian women wear after marriage) is looking really good.

Just as I came out of room....I saw Karan and Siddharth.
Ohh well let me introduce you to both of them.
Siddharth is the devil....I mean my husband for 1 year and Karan is his younger brother and my very close friend 😂✌🏻.
Funny I know. I absolutely hate one brother and I am very close to the other.
"Good morning sunshine" Karan said

Siddharth was looking at us confused. Of course the idiot didn't know that we were really good friends.
Karan: " So, who are you planning to kill early in the morning"
Avni: "Huhh"
Karan: "you are looking really gorgeous sunshine"
Avni: "Uhh..thanks I guess " 😅
What I am not at all good with compliments.
Siddharth was looking at me and when our eyes met he looked away.
Ahh... jerk.
I looked away and we all started going downstairs.
"Good morning Mumma and papa" both Karan and Siddharth said
"Good morning Uncle aunty " I said
( Uhh too much good morning 😅)
" You don't call us uncle aunty....you will call us mom and dad from today" Raj uncle said
"But...."
"No but Avni, you will call us mom and dad or mumma papa whatever suits you and it's final" Anju aunty said
"Uhh...okk...mumma" I replied
"Now sit and have breakfast" she said
" Avi, don't you have to make something sweet... it's your first day here" Ofcourse the idiot has to say something....it was Karan.
"Ohh ya she has to...but only if she wants" replied mumma.
"Umm...ohkk I'll go and make something" I replied
So , I ended up making suji ka halwa. It was really tasty. I am a good chef. Everyone ate it except my sweet husband ( note the sarcasm).
Well , I bet the halwa would have turned bitter if he would have tasted it. 🤷🏻♀️
Everyone gave me something as shagun.
Mumma and papa gave me a diamond set which I didn't want to take it but had to.
I made a mental note to return it after one year....when I'll leave the house.
Karan gifted me a beautiful saree. Ofcourse he owns many cloth houses all over the world. He is a famous fashion designer and model 🤷🏻♀️

" Yaa avi, go with him" mumma said sternly leaving no room for arguments.
All the while Siddharth was quiet and looking at me like he'll murder me. But do I care... nopeee....
"Fine , let's go" I said.
If you'll are wondering why mumma papa didn't say anything to me and Siddharth.... so the thing is they know about our agreement infact they were the ones who suggested it.
They had a few conditions as well...one of them was that me and Siddharth have to stay in the same room for one year. 🤦🏻♀️
