We start this chapter with a montage
The montage ends as the Gang arrive in a city for the final level of the game
Daphne: I think were finally home.
Shaggy: Ah no more monsters chasing us. Let's celebrate with some chow
Fred look around and sees the store names before he spots Y/n's new attire
Fred: It be a little early for a Celebration Gang
the Gang look to Y/n and see his attire
Gang: Oh my
Marcie: Wow you look like some kind of Sci-Fi cop cool
Y/n: Thanks
Shaggy: Aw, man, we're still in the game. And I thought we were home free.
Scooby: Reah!
Daphne: So now what?
Velma: All we have to do is find the last box Scooby Snacks.
Daphne: But this city is so big. Where do we start?
Fred then sees a hooded figure
Fred: Hey let's see if that woman knows anything.
As the Gang go to approach the hooded figure Y/n stops them
Fred: What's wrong Y/n?
Y/n aim's his gun
Daphne: Y/n, what are you doing?
Y/n: I think the Virus needs to try harder than that if it wants to get the jump on us
The Gang look towards the Figure who removes their hood and shows it self to be the Virus
Virus: You didn't want to pla-
Y/n just shots the Virus making it disappear
Shaggy: like good to know he's gone
Y/n looks around and sense more threats
Y/n: We need to get moving
The Gang start moving in a dirrection
Shaggy: Like where are we going?
Fred: Let's check out the Malt Shop
Shaggy: Great idea, Freddy!
They all head inside and See people are sat at the counter, Y/n and Marcie walk past them as each member of the gang stop to ask them some questions
Daphne: Hi I don't suppose you can helps us?
The People turn around and revel them self's to be the Gang but with some differences
Y/n and Marcie POV:
The Shaggy's Grab each others chins
Shaggy's: Zoinks!
Shaggy: You're me
CyberShaggy: And, like, you're me.
Velma: You're the characters in Eric's game!
CyberVelma: And you're from the real world.
Velma's: Jinkies!
Daphne: Did I really wear that years ago?
CyberDaphne: That Jacket with that skirt?
Daphne's: Hmm
Fred: Nice Ascot.
CyberFred: Works for me.
The Scooby's just smell each other, giggle before high four before both Gang's turn to look at Y/n and Marcie
CyberFred: Oh, who are you two?
Fred: You don't know? that's Y/n and Marcie
CyberGang: Who?
Y/n: Seems they don't know us yet
Y/n and Marcie approach the Cyber Gang
Y/n: Y/n L/n I'm the new guy
Marcie: And I'm Marcie Fleach a Friend they meet earlier today
CyberVelma: You recruited some sort of space cop?
Velma: No, He's not normally dressed like that in the real world
Y/n: And this is how you guys used to dress
Daphne: Well minus Scooby pretty much
Velma: I guess It's been a while since Eric's seen us and our changed fashion.
Daphne: We'll go shopping later.
CyberShaggy brings out a ton of chips
CyberShaggy: Why don't you join us for a snack?
Shaggy: Man I thought you'd never ask!
The Shaggy's start to eat the chips and The Scooby's join them before Velma then approach's the table with Y/n and Marcie
Velma: There's no time to play around. We got to find the Scooby Snacks and get out of here.
CyberShaggy: You guys need to relax.
CyberDaphne: Yeah what are you worried about?
Y/n: The fact I wont be able to see my girlfriend again
Marcie: A build up of homework and Student debt
Shaggy: Eating real food
Scooby: Reah.
Velma: Getting to read new books.
Fred: Going on a date with Daphne
Daphne hugs Fred and gives him a smooch on the check
Daphne: Aww Freddie
Y/n: Getting to see real people other then the Gang.
Both Gang's give him a look
Y/n: No offence
Daphne: Aren't you afraid of the Virus?
CyberFred: Afraid of who? Never heard of him.
Daphne: You're kidding.
Velma: Oh, I get it. Like Y/n and Marcie, The Virus isn't part of this game. He has no reason to look for our doubles.
Shaggy: Wow you cyber-guys are lucky. The Phantom Virus is creepy and has this really scary laugh
The Virus then Giggles
Shaggy: Just like that.
The Gang's then relies that the virus is here as a blue light is show from out side as Fred holds Daphne in a defensive manner and Y/n pulls out his gun and baton
Virus: Come out and play!
CyberFred and Velma go over to the window and
Velma: It's him
Virus: Come out, come out.
Both CyberFred and Velma see him wave at them
CyberFred: Let's get out of hear The Mystery Machine's out the back.
Fred's: I'll Drive
the Fred's look at each other
Y/n: Doesn't mater who drives go I'll hold him off
The Gang's nod before they run off out back leaving Y/n on his own as the doors are blasted open by the Virus
Virus: All alone what about the rest of your tea-
Y/n just shots it and it disappears
Y/n: Well that was anti-climatic
Y/n heads out back and Finds the Gang's long gone but also sees
Y/n: Well hello, beautiful
Y/n hopes on and drives off after the Gang. We cut to Y/n arriving at an amusement park called Cyber Land Boardwalk before he then sees the Van and The Gang's who see him pull up
Y/n: So I take it this is where the Snack's are?
Gang's: Y/n!
Y/n: Meh just one shot and he went down something tells me he'll be back tho so we better hurry
the Gang's nod and start moving
Shaggy: Man, this place is awesome! So where are the Scooby Snacks?
CyberShaggy: On the Scooby game, of course. Right inside the video arcade.
As the Gang keep moving they here someone in the batting cages and Y/n gains a look of irritation under his helmet
Velma: What's that sound?
They then here it again
Daphne: There it is again.
They here it again
CyberScooby: Baseball?
CyberFred: Cyber-Scooby is right. There's a batting cage.
As they go to approach the cages Y/n stops them
CyberFred: What is it?
Fred looks at the cages then back to Y/n
Fred: It's the Virus again isn't it?
CyberVelma: How would you know?
Y/n: Eric hasn't put any NPC's in the game other then monsters
Marcie: How do you know that?
Y/n: To get the outfit's I had to go in the files of the game and could see only the the monsters and the Cyber-Gang for this level
Velma: Ah I get it so anyone who isn't Us, A Monster or The Virus is just the Virus in disguise
Y/n the shots the Baseball player and it is reviled just to be the Virus who slowly disappears
Virus: I didn't even get a line
Y/n shoots him again making him completely disappear
Y/n: Wanna continue leading the way Cyber-Gang
They continue on untill running into The Creeper
Creeper: Creeper! GARR!
Daphne: Jeepers! Its the Creeper!
A/n: I wonder if that's a sly reference to Jeepers Creepers.
CyberVelma: The What?
Fred: He's one of the villains form our past.
Shaggy: And He's got a pet.
Shaggy points and the Gang See Jaguaro
Jaguaro hiss'
Velma: It's Jaguaro. He's supposed to be in Brazil.
As the Gang back away Y/n get's ready for a fight untill Fred back's into The Tar Monster
And quickly jumps away from it and also sees Gator Ghoul
Fred: Gator Ghoul and The Tar Monster
Cyber Fred: Head for the beach!
The Gang run off leaving Y/n once more with the Monster's who look to the Gang before turning back to Y/n. Y/n looks around and starts firing his gun at the monsters hitting the creeper in the shoulder and stabbing his baton into The Tar Monster which just chuckles at him making Y/n smirk under his mask before hitting a button on the baton electrifying the Monster Turing it into a pile of sludge at his feet and fires his gun once more and hits The Creeper with a Head Shot taking the creep down he looks to his final two foes and Jaguaro pounces at him He ducks and the creature goes straight into Gator Ghoul taking them down for the moment
Y/n: I've fought enough fury's for my life time
After that Y/n runs after the Gang and finds them staring into the ocean before he then notices an old villain of their's called Old Iron Face
Y/n meets up with the Gang
CyberShaggy: Man, you guys know some strange people.
Y/n: Your telling me
Velma: It's like every villain we've ever faced is here!
Y/n and the rest of the Gang look at Velma confused
Y/n: Even my short time I've been apart of the Group I know for a fact you've fought more then what, five villains
Fred: Velma we solved hundreds of cases before we disbanded
Daphne: but maybe we shouldn't have told Eric so much about our mysteries.
Virus: How right you are my dear.
The Gang's Grown
Y/n: Why can't you stay down
The Gang turn and see The Virus who has a frown other then his usual smile as he throws multiple bolts at Y/n who was unable to doge them all and Screams in pain before returning to his original attire before The Virus brings The Creeper and The Tar monster back and sends them at the Gang as they get cornered from all sides
Fred: Y/n don't supposes you've got any other tricks
Fred turns to Y/n and for the first time he's ever seen he has a face of Fear as the Creatures continue to approach
??(Y/n's Mind): Your going to die
Y/n(thoughts): No can't die not like this
??(Y/n's Mind): Then how about I give you the power you need to defeat this speck of a creature?
Y/n(Thoughts): How would I gain this power?
??(Y/n's Mind): Call My name
Y/n(thoughts): What is your name?
GoblinKing(Y/n's Mind): The Goblin King
Y/n(yell): GOBLIN KING!
The Gang's all look at Y/n confused before a bolt of green light goes over him and he glow's (F/c) again Y/n then blasts the creatures away making The Gang's look at Y/n in shock
Velma: Oh god
Fred: He's got Magic again?
Daphne: Didn't he lose that when he give Hex the book
Marcie: What book?
CyberFred: Oh good were not the only ones confused
Y/n: Gang head for the Snacks I'll deal with these insects
Fred: Got it come on
CyberVelma: Wait you still haven't explained what's going on?
Y/n: GO NOW!
CyberShaggy: R-right this way
The Gang's head off and Y/n Smirks destroying all of the monsters before glaring at the Virus who stare's in fear before using his power to summon more creatures form other levels and fly's off after the gang Y/n quickly destroys them before heading after The Virus.
Time skip to the Arcade Brought to you by A possible future of Y/n and Thorn sat on the beach together watching the sunset
Y/n Arrives just out side the Arcade and finds the Gang's their too
Y/n: Oh hey guys why haven't you gone in yet?
Fred: The Virus caught up with us and summoned more monsters. Now that we're all here, we've got one last monster to face.
Daphne: The Phantom Virus.
Velma: And this is the final level, so the Virus won't be easy to beat.
Y/n: Good thing you have your own personal cheat code, me.
The Gang look at each other worried
Fred: Speaking off how do you have you're magic again
Y/n: I uh...
Y/n thinks for a moment before descending
Y/n: ...put it in the game as a cheat code in case of emergency.
The Gang believe him but Marcie sees through his lie but keeps quiet thinking that he has his reasons
Fred: So we have a way to beat the Virus awesome
Velma: And we know he's guarding the Scooby Snacks in there.
Velma point's to the arcade
The Cyber Gang goes to head inside but Fred stops them
Fred: We need your gang to stay here.
CyberFred: You don't want our help?
Daphne: more creatures might turn up and we need you guys to make sure they don't get in
Y/n: Don't worry about getting hurt I'll give you some magical protection
Y/n then uses a spell on them and there clothes start glowing
CyberShaggy: Groovy Man!
Fred: Have you always been able to do that
Y/n: Cyber magic only works on Cyber characters and me of course
Fred looks at Y/n quizzically before shrugging it off
Fred: Okay
The Real Gang head inside the tent to confront the Virus before they see all the games
Shaggy: Man, this is one great video arcade.
Scooby: Ruh huh
They see the Box of Snacks at the end on an arcade unit
Fred: Just keep an eye open for the Virus.
Daphne: Look there's the Scooby-Doo video game.
Velma: And the Scooby Snacks!
Scooby: Oh, boy! Scooby rnacks!
Scooby goes for the Snacks but stops and turns back jumping into Shaggy when he hears the Virus giggling maiking Y/n Gets ready for a fight
Shaggy: Like, I hear him, but I don't see him.
Y/n: Where are you coward!?
Suddenly the gang see the Scooby doo arcade unit shaking rapidly before The Virus appears from the smoke seemingly charged up as he clones himself
Virus1: You go play ball with him
Virus1 points at Y/n
Virus2: Right partner make sure to get a home run
Virus2 Launches himself at Y/n making the two fly out of the tent as the two begin their battle
Y/n: You looked Scared earlier what the difference between now and then?
Virus2: I don't need to stop you just hold you off untill he's done with them
Y/n's eyes widen but then shakes it off before he fly's straight toward Virus2 who looks confused untill realising what he's doing however it's too late as Y/n goes through him splitting the virus in two making it disappears into nothing . Y/n then fly's back to the tent to find the Gang hiding from the other Virus and Y/n simply aims a finger at the Virus. A blot comes out destroying the Virus and The power leaves him before Y/n sees a dark figure with glowing green eyes in the reflection of an Arcade machine
GoblinKing(Y/n's Mind): Untill you require it again Mr. L/n
The figure vanishes
Fred: Thanks for that but what happened to your magic?
Y/n: Guess cus there aren't any more enemies it's gone
Y/n then walks over to the Snacks and picks them up
The Cyber Gang then walk in
CyberFred: You did it! You beat the Phantom Virus.
CyberShaggy: Great job guys!
Y/n hands the Box to the Scooby's who share it and the tent disappears as the Sky changes to a Grid
Fred: it looks like we're leaving.
CyberShaggy: Are you sure you want to split? There's a lot of cyber-buffeted to try here.
Scooby: Reah! Rokay!
Scooby and Shaggy start to go over to Cyber Shag and Scoob before Velma and Y/n stops them
Velma: Sorry, but we have to go.
The Real Gang start floating toward the Sky
CyberVelma: I guess this is goodbye.
BothGangs: Bye!
Daphne: Thanks for all the help!
Y/n: this has been an awful but fun experience
Marcie: By Cyber-Gang
The Gang then disappear as they are taken back to the real world
Back in the real world
The laser then turns on as the Gang re-appear in the real world
Eric: You're back! I thought you'd be stuck in the game forever.
Y/n: Ouch Eric, way to wound our pride.
Eric: Sorry no offence it's just that-
Y/n: Yeah I get it.
Shaggy: Ha ha there's no place like home.
Webley: Everyone okay?
Marcie: We're fine, Wembley no thanks to him
Marcie points to the tied up Bill
Prof K: Well done! You've saved the world from a terrible menace.
Bill sits there annoyed
Marcie: I still don't get why you did it Bill?
Eric: You were our best friend.
Prof K: And my best student.
Bill: But you didn't pick me for my project.
Eric: What's that suppose to mean?
Bill: The professor chose your video game design over mine even though I've been here two years longer.
Prof K: Students are all equal Bill.
Velma: So you invented the Phantom Virus, hoping it would scare Eric away.
Bill: That's right. And it worked, till you guys showed up.
Fred: You were afraid we'd find out who created the virus.
Shaggy: So you beamed us into cyberspace.
Bill: The prize would've been all mine if it wasn't for-
The Gang now minus Marcie: Us meddling kids!
Everyone laughs
We then cut to the Gang, Marcie and Eric at a diner called Soda Shop
Eric: I want to thank you for getting rid of that Phantom Virus. Lunch is on me.
Y/n: Minus Shaggy and Scooby's month's not up and I made a terrible deal
Eric: If that's what you want?
Y/n nod's
Eric: I'm sorry you guy's got trapped in Cyberspace.
Marcie: And I told you to stop worrying about it
Fred: It really wasn't all that bad.
Eric: Really?
Velma: Going back in time was fun.
Daphne: You did a great job designing all the game levels.
Eric: Thanks Daphne.
Shaggy: But next time, go easier on the monsters.
Everyone laughs as Eric then opens his laptop
Eric: Hey Shaggy I just pulled the Scooby-Doo game up on my laptop. Want to play?
Shaggy: What do you say, Scoob? Now that there's no creepy virus in the game?
Scooby nods and they scoot over to the laptop
Velma: Haven't you had enough for one day?
Shaggy goes into the game
Shaggy: Zoinks! look!
Shaggy turns the Laptop to the rest of the Group allowing them to see the Cyber-Gang waving at them before Scooby then takes the laptop and starts typing making The group huddle around the computer
Shaggy: What are you doing Scoob?
Scooby continues typing before a virtual box of Scooby Snacks appears for Cyber Scoob who begins eating it
Daphne: Now that's what I call hacking
Shaggy: Hacking and Scooby-Snacking!
Scooby: Scooby-dooby-doo!
The Gang Laugh ending the chapter and this book

Some where unknown a castle sits with a monsters figure inside
GoblinKing: Ha the boy did it he defeated the Virus good
A familiar hex appears
Hex: That he did just like Ravenscroft's Ghost and The Cat god's puppets
then another much smaller figure appears
??: Those aliens were a real surprise weren't they boss
GoblinKing: That they were
Hex: I Hope he's ready for what's next
