Vera put her phone next to her ear as she waited for the person on the other side to answer, and after the third ring, a voice was heard on the other side of the phone.
"hey vera, what's the sudden call," a raspy accent voice said
"well, I was thinking since you're here with your mom and sister that we should go eat dinner somewhere if that's okay with you," said Vera in her accent
"sure, we can have dinner today, I don't have any plans, and this is also an opportunity for my family to get to know you," said Harry in a very cheerful bit laid back tone
"by the way, I'll make the reservation if you're okay with that," said Vera in a soft tone as she went to her bedroom
"Yeah, sure, just let me know the time of the reservation to let my mom and sister know," said Harry as there shuffling around noises on the other side of the phone
"Alright, I will, but I'll let you go so that I can arrange the reservation," said Vera as she was looking through her closet to find something cute to wear
"Alright then see you later, love," said Harry in his British accent
"see you later, bye," said Vera in her accent, but she was blushing on the nickname 'love'.
She ended the call before calling the restaurant she was looking at before calling Harry. There were a few rings before a voice was talking on the other side of the phone.
"Hello, this is xxx (restaurant name), and how may we help you with," said a female on the other side of the phone
"um, hi, I would like to make a reservation for four people and, I would also like to request if you could make a vanilla cake with the word pleasing in the middle. It's a surprise for someone special" said Vera
"Your reservation is set for 8 pm, and we're trying to accomplish your request to the best of our skills," said the female
𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐯 𝗁𝖺𝗌 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗍𝗈 𝗍𝗁𝖾𝗂𝗋 𝗌𝗍𝗈𝗋𝗒!
𝟳:𝟭𝟬 𝗽𝗺
Vera was on her way to the restaurant, but she was feeling very nervous, so she started to freak out when she was in the backseat of the cab. Her thoughts were everywhere.
'What if Harry's mom doesn't like me'
'What if she read all of those articles about my drunken 2016 self'
'OMG, SHE'S NOT GOING TO LIKE ME'
'Just calm yourself it'll be fine'
'Bre-'
Her thoughts were cut short by the cab driver talking to her. "We've arrived ma'am", and when he had said as I looked out of the window as the restaurant was present in front of her and paid the driver then got out of the cab.
She started to walk towards the restaurant but she stopped in her steps when Vera heard her name being called.
"Vera!"
Vera looked around her surroundings until her eyes laid on a curly head, green eye Harry as he was walking towards her as two beautiful women were behind him. She started to calm herself down in her head before walking over to Harry as well.
Harry instantly hugged Vera, and vera wrapped her arms around his waist as she hugged him back. When he pulled away from the hug, he intertwined his fingers with Vera's as he introduced his mom and sister.
"Vera, this is my mom and older sister," said Harry as she was scared of how they'll think about her.
"hi, my name is Gemma, and of course, I'm the better Styles," said Gemma with a smile as she whispered the last part to Vera.
While Gemma was not that touchy, it was the very opposite with Harry's mom as she brought Vera in a motherly hug as she said when she pulled Vera away from the hug, "Hi darling, I'm Harry's mother, but you can just call me Anne being called ma'am just makes me feel old"
"Well, we should be going in now," said Harry as he intertwined his fingers into Vera's hand. We walked towards the entrance of the restaurant.

We have finished our dinner, and it was finally time for desserts. Vera gave an 'it's-time-for-the-surprise' look to one of the waiters, they instantly started to move to the kitchen. But Vera put her full attention to Anne as she asked her a question, "so, Vera where do your parents live currently?"
"Well, my parents live in Toronto at the moment, and we're not an awkward family anymore, so we spend the holidays together even if my parents aren't together," said Vera as she answered her questions
"So you're spending Thanksgiving in Toronto this year?" Asked Gemma
"Yup, hopefully, I survive the cold because the weather here and Canada is way different," said Vera with a chuckle
Then she noticed in the corner of her eyes, a waiter bringing a trolley with the cake on top of it with candles, and that was when I spoke up again.
"So I have a little surprise for you, Harry," said Vera as she had a big grin with her straight teeth on display. Harry looked at her a bit confused, but soon that confused face was replaced with a smile on his face.
The waiter stopped in front of our table, and he put the cake in the middle of our table. Harry looked at the cake then looked at Vera with a smile and said, " what's this for?"
"Well, since I wasn't there to celebrate with you on your release of Pleasing I decided to surprise you with this cake"
Harry had an adoration look in his eyes as he brought Vera into a hug then kissed her on the cheek.
"Well, thank you, I like it, love," said Harry
