Kk had gone to meet teju.
They both were vulnerable. Kk had never felt like this before. He never had seperation anxiety issue with anyone. Family or ex gfs. But this was teju. For the first time he was feeling so vulnerable.
They were at tejus house.
Kk- Oye anda singh i will miss u.
Teju- I know.
Kk- and you??
Teju- I wont miss u.
Kk looked suprised.
Teju- Cos we will facetime all the time. N saathmein roz ek meal khaayenge.
Kk- but main shayad tujhse zyaada kisi aur ko miss karunga??
Teju- kisko??
Kk- Hai koi.
Teju pointed her finger at him n then held his collar.
Kk laughed n gave her a peck on her cheek.
Teju- Why r u laughing??
Kk- Cos i will miss ur night creams of ur night routine more.
Teju- But woh toh rahegi mere saath.
Kk- so when i call u from dubai tu tabhi bhi mujhe night routine se pakayegi??
Kk- Tabhi baksh dena. Dont u have any leg cream or body cream that u need to apply?? 😉
Teju hit him on his chest n put her head there.
Kk- Kya soch rahi hai??
Teju- Kaise karenge? How will stay away for so long? If mere shoot nahi hote toh i would have gone with u for few days.
Kk- But who is taking u? Finally will get some days to chill..
He was joking. But teju didnt reply. She was quiet.
Kk- Oye laddoo i was joking. U know na mere buss chale toh teko harr jagah apni pocket mein daal ke le jau.
He kissed her on the head.
Teju was still quiet. She knew it was a joke but somehow she wasnt ready to take it as one. She had been feeling that he wasnt that into her like before.
Kk- I love u my laddoo. I have to go now. Got early morning flight. Will miss u.
Teju got up from his chest. They went till the house gate. Teju hugged him tight. With all her strength. She was emotional. Teary eyed but controlled herself. She didnt wanna look like an emotional fool.
They broke the hug n kk sat in the car n left.
Kks thoughts
She didnt even say she will miss me. Sirf ek hug. No kiss no love u. Itni choti baaton pe ro deti hai kabhi kabhi but aaj kuch bhi nahi. Do i matter to her now? Is she not that into me like before? I keep calling her chipku but in reality i m. Maybe she doesn't like that anymore.
I m the one going away for shoot yet i was the one who went to meet her. She didnt even make an effort. Maybe she just needs her space.
Kk was at the airport next morning.
He checked his phone to see if teju msgd something. Since she had a morning shoot she was definitely up.
But there was no msg.
He was a lil sad. But he still msgd her.
Kks msg- Gm ladoo. M at the airport. Leaving in a while. Will call u once i reach the hotel. Love you. Miss me 💗
Kk landed n reached the hotel in dubai.
He checked in his room n switched on his phone.
There were no msgs from her. He was v sad. But then there were notifications of miss call from her number. He was relieved to see that. He called her immediately.
She answered in 2 rings.
Teju- Sunnnyyy.
There was a big smile on his face. Hearing her voice. Just the same excitement as before. His doubts took a pause. He was v happy.
Kk- laddooooo.
Teju- I misss uuuu. I tried calling u but ur phone was off so i assumed u were in flight.
Teju- How was the flight? Hows the weather? Hows the hotel? Show me ur room.
Kk- Hai how much i miss ur pakk pakk. I just reached. Fresh bhi nahi hua. Just took the phone to call u.
Kk- Flight was good. Weather ka abhi tak itna pata nahi but hotel is amazing.
Kk- Will call u again in sometime n sab dikhata hoon.
Teju- Hmmm. Okkk. I gotta go now. My shot is starting. Call me after an hr. I have a break then.
Kk- Ok i will.
Kk went to freshen up. He ordered some food. He was tired from the flight n early morning journey. As he finished his food he slept in sometime.
It waz almost 2 hrs. Teju called him few times. He didnt answer. Teju was v upset. She went in for another shot n would be busy for next 3-4 hrs.
Kk woke up after 3 hrs. He checked his phone n saw missed calls from teju.
Kks thoughts-
Oh shit. I forgot to call her. I should have called her before sleeping.
He immediately calls her but she doesn't answer. After a few calls he stops calling.
He gets ready. In evening the webseries team r all gonna meet for dinner.
Its not like he had to attend it but he chose to go n have dinner with them. He always liked to talk to his team n staff. He met everyone at the buffet restaurant.
As he sat with them n was having dinner teju facetimed him.
As he answered teju saw he was at a restaurant. That means he was already having dinner.
Teju- Are u having dinner??
Kk- Yes. I just took my plate. I had called u but u didnt answer.
Teju- u called me an hr back. U forgot to call me in my break n when i did u didnt answer.
Tejus tone changed. She sounded angry.
Kk got up from the table n walked away from the team.
Kk- Lets do a normal call.
Teju- Why why not a video call??
Kk- You are shouting baby.
Teju- I m not shouting. I m talking.
Kk- Ok. Bolo. What r u upto?? How was ur shoot?
Teju- Dont change the topic. Why didnt u answer my calls earlier??
Kk- Cos i slept. I had lunch n just slept. I was too tired.
Teju- So u had ur lunch without me. U r now having ur dinner without me. We promised to have one meal together na.
Kk realised she was hurt.
Kk- Baby i haven't even started my dinner. I was just sitting witb them. Room mein jaake obviously kuch order karta n tere saath khaata baby.
Teju- U r lying now. Go enjoy ur meals with ur people.
Kk- Dont u think u r over reacting a bit.
Teju- Nope. Not even 1 percent.
Kk- Hmmm. Vaise bhi tu kab galti maanti hai apni?
Teju- I m not wrong here. U r. U didnt call me. U r eating meals without me.
Kk- Baby lets not fight the first day we r apart. Ab aur bahot din hai.
Teju- I have to go. Need to packup.
Kk- Ok call me once u reach home.
She didnt say anything n hungup.
He knew she was angry.
He decided to patch it up in his next call.
Kk had a lil food with the whole team n then went to his room.
He waited for her call but she didnt.
So after 2 hrs he called her. She answered n was at her home.
Kk- call kyu nahi kiya? When sid u reach?
Teju- I reached sometime back n was changing.
Kk- Chal dinner plate leke aa. I m waiting.
Teju- I ate a lil bit. M not hungry now.
Kk- I was waiting for u. N u ate without me?
Teju- U did the same na.
Kk- I didnt eat. I just went to hangout with the team n ek plate le li for formality.
Teju- Its ok. U do whatever suits u n ur work schedule. U shouldnt have to wait for me.
Kk- Teju stop it. U r stretching the topic.
Teju- Ok. But i meant what i said. Now i will not bother u with my calls or msgs.
Kk- O madam call kiya kaha hai tune?? I have been the one calling n msgn.
Teju- Pls. U dont answer my calls. I ask u to show me the room u dont do that. Then u say u went to sleep n dont answer my calls.
Kk- I did go to sleep. Tu bolna kya cha rahi hai?
Teju- Nothing. I m sure u must be tired. U should sleep now.
Kk- I m not that tired. We can talk.
Teju- hmmmm
Kk- How was ur day.
Teju- It was ok. How about urs?
Kk- It was ok too.
They were quiet for a min.
Teju- I think we should sleep now. Gn.
Kk- Gn ladoo.
They hung up.
Tejus thoughts-
I wanted to talk so much. But he is not interested in me like before. He ate his meals without me. He didnt call back. He didnt show me his room. Was someone there with him at that point n maybe thats why he didnt show me the room.
Shhhhh dont think all that teju. It was a hard day. He doesnt make me feel as secure as before. Usko koi farak hi nahi padta aajkal. Maybe i m too much to take. I m loud n talkative. Shayad pakk gaya hai woh meri baaton se. Mujhse.
On the other hand kk was lying on his bed thinking-
I miss ur pakk pakk teju. When i asked u about ur day i thought tu hamesha ke jaise sab in detail bolegi. But tune kuch nahi bola. Have i become so boring for u? Dont u feel the same for me? U didnt initiate meeting me before i left. Main hi aaya tere paas. Bus gussa ho rahi hai meri harr ek cheez pe. Dont u feel the same for me anymore??
With these thoughts he fell asleep.
Next morning both of them sent GM msgs to each other n reported for their work.
Kks phone didnt have any network at the shoot location. So he couldnt call teju.
Teju called him few times especially at lunch time but his phone was unreachable.
Kk reached the hotel in evening around u. He freshened up n called teju.
She didnt answer first but when he called again she did.
Kk- Hi ladoo.
Teju- where were u? Kitne calls kiye maine.
Kk- There was no network at the shoot location.
Teju- Ek baar toh call karta ya msg karta.
Kk- arrey i didn't know there would be no network there.
Kk- I missed u my ladoo. Miss ur hugs the most.
Teju- Jhootha. If u would have missed me u would have called or msgd.
Kk- I did miss u. Ek smile de de.
Teju smiled. It was not her usual happy wali smile. Kk understood that.
Kk- chal day 2 over. Just couple nore days to go n then i will see u anda singh. Miss ur gol matol face.
Teju- But so many more days to go. Aise kaise chalega? We barely talk once a day.
Kk- I know. But we knew na it would be difficult for us. First time aisi feeling aa rahi hai ladoo. Kabhi kisiko itna miss nahi Kiya itna outdoor shoots pe.
Teju- U say this everytime for everything we do.
Kk- Cos thats how i feel. Dont u feel that? What we have is so novelish. We cant stay away from each other.
Teju- U can easily stay away. U have been staying away.
Kk- Kya kar rahi hai teju. I m trying to look at the positive things n u r just not intetrsted in talking to me.
Kk- Should i hang up then?
Kk didnt want go. But he looked at tejus reaction on every statement.
Teju- If u want to.
Kk- U wanna talk ki nahi?
Teju- i m ok with anything
Kk- fine then.
He hung up.
