After that, We all stayed in our spots. Su-hyeok and Jeon stand beside me while I looked out the window, seeing nothing but zombies.
'When will this end?'
"Noona..." Jeon called
"Yes?" I turned to him.
"You won't turn into one of them, right?" He asked, making me look down.
"She won't Jeon." Su-hyeok quickly replied
"Guys, I have something to say-"
"Just stay quiet." Su-hyeok looked at me.
"It's just-"
"Please, flash." He said, wrapping his hands around me.
'Aishh why won't he let me speak?'
We embraced each other for a few seconds when Cheong-san suddenly yelled.
"Su-hyeok!"
Cheong-san immediately swung the music stand towards me but Su-hyeok was in front of me so he got hit instead.
"Get out of the way!" Cheong-san yelled
"Don't do it." Su-hyeok said
"Move!"
Su-hyeok went to Cheong-san, pushing him down on the table, grabbing his collar.
"I told you to stop it, fuck."
"You moron." Cheong-san suddenly punches Su-hyeok and they begin to fight.
'Can't they just stop?'
"Hey, cut it out."
"Stop it already, you two." Gyeong-su and Dae-su pull the two away from each other.
"Let go of me!"
Cheong-san run towards me with the stand and Jeon held his hands up protectively in front of me.
"Hey, stop."
"Get out of the way!" Jeon attempted to take the music stand away from Cheong-san.
"Just get out-"
"Stop!" On-jo went towards them
"Watch out, On-jo! She's a zombie-"
Su-hyeok went behind Cheong-san, pulling him away from Jeon.
"Stop it. Are you blind? Can't you see Haneul?"
"She would have blood on her mouth if she bit him." On-jo stated
"Did you see?" I see Nam-ra walk closer to them.
"Is Su-hyeok bleeding? No, right? She's normal, she's not a zombie."
"She's right. There's no wound." Su-hyeok agreed, still holding Cheong-san.
"But if Gwi-nam bit her-"
"She's still fine so she's okay." Gyeong-su spoke
"Can you put that down?" Jeon looked at Cheong-san.
"Let go."
"I got it. Let go." Su-hyeok then let go of Cheong-san.
"Why won't you drop that?" On-jo questioned, looking at the stand Cheong-san is holding.
"None of your business."
I stayed quiet while On-jo walk towards me, looking at my wrist.
"Haneul, you're okay right?" She asked and hold my hand.
"Your hands warm again, unlike last night." She smiled
"She seems fine." Woo-jin said
"She should've turned by now."
"Guys..." I stood up
"Before Gwi-nam bit me, Hyeon-Ju already bit me." I stated, looking at all of them.
"Remember the small bite mark, Su-hyeok?"
"Hyeon-Ju probably wasn't feeling well-"
"No, just like what On-jo said in the broadcasting room. Hyeon-Ju might be a zombie."
"I've been hearing loud noises yesterday. That's why Jeon, On-jo, and Nam-ra always see me covering my ears."
"Hey, stop that. What's wrong with you?" Su-hyeok said
"I heard Ms. Park screams, last night."
"Ms. Park? Are you sure it was her?" Dae-su asked
"I'm sure. When we were all preparing the bathroom. I heard her screaming and Na-Yeon crying."
"Haneul, I can't imagine what you feel after hearing that..." On-jo looked at me
"I shouldn't stay with you guys. I'll go." I remarked
"Wait." On-jo held my hand.
"If you already got bit by Hyeon-Ju, then you would've turned yesterday."
"Did you see Gwi-nam get bitten by zombies?" On-jo looked towards Cheong-san
"How many times must I tell you?"
"Then, did you see him turn?" On-jo questioned
"No, I didn't... I was busy running away."
"Su-hyeok, you definitely fought Gwi-nam?"
"Yes, I did."
"There's no reason for either of you to lie."
"Maybe Gwi-nam was bitten but didn't turn. In the movies, there are people who are immune. Maybe, it's the same with Haneul."
"Still, she's been having zombie senses since yesterday." Ji-min said
"Regardless, she isn't normal. I can't be with her."
"Ji-min."
I touched my head, feeling pain rush through my head.
'Shit, why am I having a headache now?'
"What? Am I wrong?"
"I don't know. I don't know what we should do." On-jo said
"So? What do you want us to do?"
"Fuck it, I'll just leave since you guys can't stop fighting." I announced, heading towards the door.
Jeon, On-jo, and Su-hyeok immediately followed me.
"Don't go. Where would you go?"
"Noona, please don't go." Jeon pleaded
On-jo grab my hand tightly as I tried shaking it away.
"Stop it, please." I said
"Let's not let anyone else die, just like Ms. Park said." She cried
"Hyeon-Ju and I-sak's hands were very cold before they turned."
"Haneul's hands are warm. She's not a zombie." She defended
"So, let's just talk about how to get to the rooftop."
"No." Ji-min disagreed
"Ji-min."

"She may be fine yesterday and now, but who knows when she'll turn?"

"The rest of you say something. This is wrong."
Everyone stayed silent, not responding to her.
"She'll slowly turn into a zombie by the time we get on the rooftop. She's been bitten twice! There has to be zombie blood flowing in her veins."
"Zombies killed my Eomma and Appa."
"My innocent parents... are dead. I can't trust her." Ji-min pointed at me.
Su-hyeok then walks towards the door and grabbed a small red cloth from the curtains, and went beside me.
"Hey, give me your hand." He said and started wrapping the cloth around my hand.
"What are you doing?" I looked at him.
"Tying our hands together."
"Stop, I said I'll just get out." I said, attempting to pull away.
"Stop it. Stop being so difficult." He replied and also tied his arm with me.
"Happy? She can't go to you even if she turns." He looked at Ji-min.
"She can only bite me."
'Idiot.'

A few minutes came by, all of us are now seated in our spots. I and Su-hyeok were separated from the group, Jeon was sitting a few chairs away from us. I look towards them, seeing them talk to each other.
"You okay?" Su-hyeok looks at me.
"Yea..."
"Thanks for everything, Su-hyeok. No matter how stubborn and reckless I am, you still stood by me." I chuckled
"I'm glad that I met you, idiot."
Our eyes lock with each other.
"Same with me. I actually have something to say..."
"Hmm? What is it?"
We then heard banging from the door. I look towards Dae-su, watching him trying to open the storage room.
'Aish, Dae-su.' Su-hyeok thought
"Damn it."
Dae-su started kicking the door.
"Hey. Keep it down! Quiet!" Joon-Yeong said, holding the door as the zombies growl.
I looked at Su-hyeok again, "Aren't you gonna help them?"
"No, I'm not letting you out my sight ever again." He said
"Hey, I can't go anywhere. The doors are full of zombies from outside so, if I open it you guys would be in danger."
"The window." He pointed "You can jump off that window. I'm keeping an eye on you."
I sighed and waved towards Jeon and Nam-ra with my other hand.
"Stop it." Hyo-Ryung said
Dae-su stopped, leaning in the door.
"It won't work."
"What a waste of energy."
Having nothing to do, I leaned on Su-hyeok's shoulder.
"Lend me your shoulder, Bare-su."
"Then lend me your head, flash" He replied and leaned on my head.
We stayed silent as we listened to the others record themselves with the camera Ji-min found.
I tapped my feet against the floor, hearing Dae-su's song.
"That makes me hungry..."
Su-hyeok suddenly looked at me.
"Hey, not for humans. I just want fried chicken or tteokbokki, or any food right now." I told him.
"I didn't say about humans." He chuckled
"You just looked at me weirdly."
"Nothing, I just like looking at you."
"Ah, am I that pretty, Lee Su-hyeok?" I teased while looking at him
"Yes, yes you are, Ryu Haneul." He smiled
I looked away, feeling my face heat up.
"And she was too stunned to speak."
"Hey, shut-"
I stopped when I see On-jo standing in front of us, holding the camera.
"Leave a message if you want." She said handing over the camera to us and I gladly accept it.
"Thanks, On-jo." I smiled at her
"Haneul, I believe you and I don't wanna lose a friend like I-sak again. So, please just stay with us." I looked at her and nodded.
"Oh, and you guys can untie that now." She added and went back to the others.
"Here." I said to Su-hyeok
"I don't have anything to say."
"Neither do I. What am I supposed to say to that old man? He's probably not even worried about his daughter and immediately left Hyosan..." I sighed
"Don't bother thinking about him, he's not worth it." Su-hyeok said
"Right, he's not."
"Ah, I remember earlier you were gonna say something, what might that be?" I raised an eyebrow.
Su-hyeok paused thinking whether he should tell her or later.
'I guess it's time.'
He open his mouth and said three words that made Haneul's heart skip a beat.
"I like you."
"I've liked you ever since, Ryu Haneul, Flash, or whatever. I'm thankful for everything you've done for me, you changed me and have made me realize a lot of things in 10th grade. I promised myself to protect you against anyone who will harm you." He told me
"So, will you go out with me?" Su-hyeok then handed me his nametag.
"I mean if you want to..." He added
I chuckled and smiled at what he said.
I opened up the camera and started recording,
"Lee Su-Hyeok or Bare-su, I like you too." I replied to the camera.
I then looked at him, staring at me.
I went closer to his face and attached my lips to his. I closed my eyes as I felt his lips against mine.
It lasted for a few seconds and I broke off our kiss, still looking at him.
"Here, my name tag." I said handing him mine.
"It's not exactly the time or place, I imagine to confess but since there's an apocalypse might as well confess." He confessed
"While we're still alive." I said while holding his hand.
"That's means, we're officially together?" He asked, smiling at me.
"Of course, idiot."
