"C-Come on! We've got to hurry and make this kingdom shine!"
A frantic Custard Cookie III was running around with a clipboard, making sure everything was cleaned up. The other cookies were starting to get worried as they (reluctantly) worked. A few cookies looked at each-other before Knight Cookie and Princess Cookie walked up to him. "Young king...All of us are getting a bit...concerned about you", Knight Cookie said.
"And annoyed!"
"Your highness please don't-"
"Who gives you the right to boss the princess of the Hollyberry Kingdom around?! It's just some visit! Why does it matter so much?!", Princess Cookie shouted out. "Why does it matter? Why does it matter?! Because it's not just ANY visit! Pure Vanilla Cookie's coming!", Custard Cookie III exclaimed. "Yeah, you told us many times already! So?", she said as the young cookie stomped a bit. "Don't you get it?! Pure Vanilla Cookie is the most glorious king of them all! We just HAVE to impress him!"
"Who even cares about-!"
Knight Cookie immediately covered Princess Cookie's mouth. He didn't mean to be disrespectful but this argument would go on for hours if he didn't quiet Princess Cookie down. "I agree that first impressions are important, but you seem incredibly stressed. If you want my honest opinion, the kingdom looks great! And I'm sure Pure Vanilla Cookie will appreciate it", Knight Cookie said with a smile. Custard Cookie III returned it as he seemed to calm down a bit.
"You really think so?"
"Of course!"
Custard Cookie III took a deep breath and thanked Knight Cookie. Maybe everything would be alright! The kingdom wasn't that bad! Maybe Pure Vanilla Cookie wouldn't care as much as he thought! Meanwhile, Pure Vanilla walked through the woods towards the entrance of the kingdom. After wakening, he wanted to make sure all cookie kingdoms were secure and well-kept! Besides, it was a nice day to take a walk! With all the stress of Dark Enchantress Cookie, he needed one.
He walked in to see GingerBrave, Strawberry Cookie, Wizard Cookie, Chili Pepper Cookie and Custard Cookie III. "Greetings Pure Vanilla Cookie! Welcome to our humble kingdom!", Custard Cookie III said with a proud smile. "We're so excited you came by to visit!", GingerBrave said as Strawberry Cookie nodded. "Y-Yes! We cleaned up the kingdom especially for you! Custard Cookie III organized it all", she said as Pure Vanilla Cookie tilted his head a bit. "Is that so? Well I'm flattered! Thank you for the welcome!"
Custard Cookie III screamed internally. This was going well already! Maybe he shouldn't have been so worried! "Allow Chili Pepper Cookie and I to give you a tour of our kingdom!", Wizard Cookie said as Pure Vanilla Cookie followed the two towards the shop area. Little did any of them know that three cookies were planning something big for Pure Vanilla Cookie.
"And here is our bakery! Would you like to try one of our pastries?", Wizard Cookie asked as he turned to the king. He smiled and nodded. "That would be delightful!", he said. The three approached Cherry Cookie, who happened to be working there as punishment for a massive prank she did. "Ohhh! Hello there! Would you like to try our new pastry?", she said innocently.
"Oh?"
"Yes! It's aaaaa...CHERRY PIE!~", she said as she revealed a freshly baked cherry pie with whipped cream and a bright red cherry on top. "Oh my! It looks delightful", Pure Vanilla Cookie said as he kindly took a slice. But then...Chili Pepper Cookie noticed something off about the cherry on top. It was a-! "Wait that's a-!", she started before suddenly the cherry exploded into a puff of glittery smoke. "...bomb..", she finished as she looked at the three other cookies who were covered in glittery soot.
"H-Hey! What happened?! Are you alright Pure Vanilla Cookie?!", Custard Cookie III said as ran up to the group. "Oh yes; I'm fine!", he said with a smile as he chuckled a bit. "Cherry Cookie! What was that for?!", Custard Cooke III scolded as he pointed at Cherry Cookie, who simply giggled at the sight. "Ehehehehe! That's what you get for making us work on the kingdom all day!~", she said before running off. "Hey get back here!", Chili Pepper Cookie exclaimed as she ran after Cherry Cookie.
"Oh bother...Don't worry about her Pure Vanilla Cookie. She's quite the trickster..", Wizard Cookie said with a sigh. "Oh do not fret! I thought it was a wonderful, erm, surprise!", he said with a slight giggle. The tour continued after the cookies had dusted themselves off. Custard Cookie III decided to join them in case more silliness occurred. "Oh Pure Vanilla Cookie! We should stop by our Jellyberry Orchard! The berries were the biggest and ripest they had ever been!", Custard Cookie III said
They had walked up to said orchard, but they were surprised to see that all the berries were gone from the trees. That's funny. Did someone pick them already? The answer was yes, but the cookie who did it would use it for rather messy purposes. Suddenly, Gumball Cookie appeared on the top of the roof. "Heeeeerrrre comes a MASTERPIECE!", he exclaimed before taking out his gumball machine and shooting something at the three. They smelled of jellyberries, but they seemed to be dyed different colors.
The three were now all messy once again and jellyberry stains didn't come out easily. "H-Hey! T-This was my favorite robe Gumball Cookie!", Wizard Cookie replied angrily as Gumball Cookie brushed it off. "Well it was pretty dull! It could've used more color anyways!", he said with a smug look on his face. "Oh that does IT!", he exclaimed before he started chasing Gumball Cookie. At this point, Custard Cookie III was close to hyperventilating. This was all going so wrong! "P-Pure Vanilla Cookie! I am so sorry for the behavior of my subjects!"
"Oh do not worry young one! It's been a while since I've seen such lively cookies!", Pure Vanilla Cookie said with a patient smile. "Y-Yes...Well, good thing we have a couple of areas left in the tour...", Custard Cookie III said, muttering that last sentence. Needless to say, it didn't go well. Pancake Cookie had soared in and blocked their path, demanding Acorn Jellies or else he'd pull out his secret weapon. His weapon turned out to be a whistle that alerted Gumball and Cherry Cookie, who proceeded to bomb them with bombs and Jellyberries.
The two ran off and hid as the three giggled and looked for them. They came to a calm little area with benches, a fountain and lots of plants that overlooked the beach. "Well, this has certainly been an interesting-!", Pure Vanilla Cookie started before hearing Custard Cookie III yell out. "It's all wrong! It all went wrong!", he exclaimed as tears welled up in his eyes. He sat on a bench and curled up. Pure Vanilla Cookie blinked and approached the cookie, sitting down on the bench as well. "Whatever do you mean little one?"
"None of this was supposed to happen! It was supposed to be a clean and organized visit! I just wanted to impress you! And now we're all messy...I'm such a horrible king..", Custard Cookie III said. He was surprised when Pure Vanilla Cookie pulled him close to him. "Now listen young one...You're not a horrible king at all! None of this was in your control!", he said as the young cookie was. "But I still should've done something to prevent this! Maybe keep them in line! Give them a kingly speech o-or-!"
"Now now...There's no need to stress yourself over this! You're just a kid! No need to worry about this stuff", he said with a smile as he poked Custard Cookie III's side, earning a nice squeak out of him. He blinked and smiled. "I think I had a good way to help you destress! It worked a lot with Dark Cacao Cookie", he said as he put Custard Cookie III on his lap and began to scribble his fingers up and down his sides. "EHEHEHE! W-WAHAHAIT! NOHOHOHOHO!"
"That's it...let all that built up stress escape you", he said calmly as he scribbled up to Custard Cookie III's ribs. "AHAHAHA! PLEHEHEAHASE! IHIHIHIT TIHIHIHICKLES!", he squealed out as he kicked his legs a bit and squirmed from side to side. "It's supposed to tickle little one!", he said with a slight chuckle. He used one of his hands to tickle the cookie's ribs, while the other started to squeeze and tickle Custard Cookie III's belly.
"NAHAHAHAO! THIHIHIS IHIHIHISN'T FAHAHAIR!", the small cookie squealed out as he flapped his arms up and down. He did have to admit though; he no longer felt that lingering stress thanks to the tickles. "PUHUHUHURE VAHAHAHANIHIHILLA!", he exclaimed as he tried to curl into a little ball. "Yes? What is it young one?", Pure Vanilla Cookie said with a slight tease in his voice. "NOHOHOHO MOHOHOHORE!"
"Hmmm...but I feel as if you are not relaxed enough. I must tickle you into all the stress has left you", he said simply as he suddenly positioned Custard Cookie III so that he was holding him like a baby. "And nothing helps gets stress out like a couple of raspberries!"
"W-Wait-!"
But it was too late. Pure Vanilla Cookie began blowing raspberries on Custard Cookie III's little belly, causing him to shriek and squeal. "AHAAHAHAHA! NAHAHAHAO! IHIHI'M REHEHELAHAHAXED!", he exclaimed as he kicked his legs. "Are you sure little one?", the older cookie asked as he blew a bigger raspberry on the younger one's belly. "GAHAHAHA! YEHEHEHES! YEHEHEHES! AHAHAHAHAHA!"
Pure Vanilla Cookie smiled, chuckling a bit as he stopped the tickling. Custard Cookie III was still giggling from the ghost tickles as he huddled up next to Pure Vanilla Cookie for comfort. The cookie smiled as he patted the little one's head affectionately. He then smiled. "Say Custard...Why don't we have some fun with those little tricksters of yours?", he asked as he pulled out some jellybeans from the farm. Custard Cookie III blinked as he giggled a bit.
"Yeah! Let's go!"
