This story is based after Monami and Karan have confessed their feelings.
"Monami, how's he?" Faizi asked impatiently as soon as Monami came out of the dispensary. Monami just sighed and nodded, "He's fine Faizi, parr sirr par chot hai, kuch keh nahi sakte. Use jaise hi hosh aayega toh pata chalega."
Faizi and Monami both went towards the other cadets.
Flashback
"Monami mujhe ek mission ke liye nikalna hai..." Karan came to her room. She was sitting with her Gappu. She looked up and saw him. "Han Karan, mai tumse milne hi aa rahi thi." She smiled and hugged him. Everyone in the academy knew that they were together and looked up to them for being such goals. Karan didn't smile and she understood his silence. "Tum meri chinta mat karo Karan, mai tumhe miss karungi toh tumhari hoodie se kaam chala lungi." They both chuckled and Karan hugged Monami tightly.
"Kuch thik saa nahi lag raha Monu." Karan expressed his tension. Monami smiled and kissed his heart to where she had hugged him. "Sab kuch thik hoga Karan. Tum jaldi vapas aana ab, Valentine's day aa raha hai na! I know yeh bhot stupidity hai. Kyuki tum toh mujhe Valentine kya harr din usse zyada pyaar karte ho."
Karan smiled at her and they heard footsteps. "Sirji, Batra sirji aa gaye hai. Chalenge?" Sanjana came there. "Han Sanju, mai aa raha hoon bas." Monami looked at Karan and grinned. "Kya hua tumhe?"
"Mujhe pata nahi kyu aisa lag raha hai tum mujhe both miss karne wale ho." Monami said winking. Karan just smiled, "Boyfriend hu tumhara, kyu na karu?" Karan said winking back.
They both reached at the gate where all other cadets bid farewell. The mission was completed soon as it was the 5th February when Col. Batra finally got a call from Karan, "The mission is going well sir. We'll complete it by tomorrow and will be back."
They all were missing their strict trainers and all waited for them impatiently. Sid and Koel kept teasing Monami as she was the most excited one.
Soon it was the next day and they got a call from Faizi. Col. Batra picked the call up. "Sir, aap please hospital aa jayiye." He heard Faizi say. They all reached the hospital as the cadets were stuck of going and seeing what had happened. They all went inside and saw Sanjana and Faizi sitting outside the Operation Room. Monami's heart skipped a beat.
"Vo sir, end me mission complete karte karte, ek insaan ko hostage bana liye unn logo ne aur hume use bachate hue chot aa gyi, Karan ke sirr parr kaafi zor se plank laga tha..." Faizi was already sad. Monami tried to be strong enough but some tears still escaped her hold. "Monami, tu chinta naa kar, sirji ek dum thik hai." Sanjana consoled her.
"Can I meet the doctor please?" Monami pleaded Faizi who nodded and took her. The doctor shared Karan's case with Monami and it was concluded that he can be taken to dispensary the next day as he just required rest and other injuries were also been treated. "Dr. Monami, aap iss baat ka khyaal rakhiyega ki unhe hosh parso tak aayega kyuki heavy doses diye honge unki brain injuries ke baad." Monami nodded and they all took Karan in the ambulance and shifted him to the academy dispensary. All were satisfied with the fact that Karan will be cured right in front of them through Monami, and who else can take a better care of his.
End of Flashback
It was the afternoon when Karan was about to get consciousness. They all had gathered around him and were hoping everything's fine. Karan got up yawning. He looked at his surroundings and his eyes widened.
"Kon ho tum log? Aur mere jaise hot insaan ko kaed kyu kar rakhha hai?" They all were shocked. Was this the Karan who had left for the mission? "Oh saandh tu! Firr toh yeh log thik honge. Faizi yeh sab log kon hai?" Faizi had no words.
"Aap log zara bahaar nikaliye, hum ise dekh le pehle. Aur tum bhi!" He said directly looking at Monami was was already behind everyone as she was nervous. The cadets left outside. "Saandh, Param bhaiya kaha hai? Kisi mission par hai kya? Aur mai yaha dispensary me kyu hu?" Faizi was shocked, now what should he answer. "Karan tum rest karo, abhi abhi uthe ho, thoda aaraam karlo, firr baat karte hai iske baare me." Karan just rolled his eyes and laid down seeing a glare from Faizi. Faizi went outside.
"Hume lagta hai uska 5 year memory loss hua hai." Faizi declared. Monami and the other cadets got up. "Iska mtlb #Karan sir, hume #pehchante hi nahi?" Chitra asked dejected. Faizi sighed and shook his head. They told Col. Batra about all of this. "Sirji hume naa lagto ki hume yeh baat uparr batani chahiye. Vo Ambar sir ko bhej denge aur firr Karan sirji ko aur preshaani hogo thik hone me." Col. Batra nodded in response. "Hume bhi yahi lagta hai aur Ambar sir ko Karan pehle se hi jaanta hai. After all, vo Param bhaiya ke saath bhi rival tha." Faizi added.
"Lekin agar koi high official post aata hai toh hum kaise respond karenge?" Col. Batra practically was right and they were tensed. "Sir, Karan bhale hi apni memory kho chuka ho, lekin vo tab bhi ek bhot accha Major tha. Aur ab use agar yeh bataya jayega toh vo iss cheez ko zroor handle kar payega." Faizi said giving an idea to which Sanjana and Col. Batra smiled and they all went to Karan's ward.
"Jai Hind sir!" Karan wanted to stand but Col. Batra made him sit. They were about to speak to him when all of them heard a voice, "Excuse me sir, this is Karan's medication time. Please aap log bahaar wait kijiye." Monami entered the ward. Karan's eyes were stuck on her. He was mesmerized to see her.
"But Monami..."
"Please try to understand Faizi! Mujhe aap logo se kuch baat karni hai." She signaled them to go out and they understood there was something which she can't say in front of Karan. They all went outside and Karan was just staring Monami's actions.
"Sir hum use yeh sab bata denge jo aap keh rahe hai, par Param bhaiya ke baare me nahi sun payega vo." Monami said concerned. Sanjana nodded, "Sirji Monami thik keh raho hai, abhi unhe keh dete hai ki Param sirji mission par gaye hai." They all nodded and went inside. Monami gave him his medications while he stared at her with a smile plastered on his face. She so badly wanted to hug him but this wasn't the Karan she loved. He doesn't even know who she was so just did his medications. Before he could start a conversation, she had left.
Col. Batra and Faizi told him about him being a Major and here to train the cadets. Also that Param is on a mission so he's the In-Charge of the academy. Karan swallowed this much information calmly. "Thank you sir, aap log mujhe help kar rahe hai." They all smiled at him. "Aap log mujhe mere cadets se toh milwa dijiye." He said with a smile.
"Han sirji, namuno ko abhi bula laate hai." Sanjana said. "Very bad Sanju, tu apne cadets ko namoone kehti hai. Yeh acchi baat nahi hai." Karan said with a cute glare. Sanjana and Faizi's eyes widened but they consoled themselves, it was the older bubbly Karan. They called all the cadets.
"Hello, mai Karan Shergill, aap logo ka trainer hu. I know aap logo ko toh pata hoga, mera memory loss hua hai so aap log please apne aap ko firse introduce karenge please?" He said grinning. All cadets were shocked to see him like that.
Bala came and saluted him. "Cadet Bala reporting sir."
"Bala, shaitaan ka saala!" Karan giggled and all looked at him in shock. "Kuch galat bola kya maine?" He asked innocently. Here, our Monami was so in love with this Not-So-Khadoos Shergill. She was admiring him from the last. "Nahi nahi bhaiji, aap toh bilkul sahi bole. All you right."
"Aisi english bolega toh 50 laps karwaunga tujhse!" Karan said rolling his eyes. All chuckled. Chitra came forward. "I am Cadet #Chitra." Chitra smiled. "Hello cadet Chitra, I am #agent Karan." He smiled at her as well. They all adored him.
"Cadet Sumanji sir." Karan looked here and there. "Kon hai?" They all chuckled when Sumanji answered, "Sir, Sumanji apne aap ko Sumanji kehti hai." Karan understood. "Ohhh accha accha, Karan ki taraf se hii Sumanji ko." He said laughing. "Sir, mai prem, mera show..."
"Maa ke poot show me they na aap toh?" Karan said. "Ji sirji, aap hume jaante hai?"
"Ji, aapka show Param bhaiya ke saath maine dekha tha. Firr chordh diya bhot bura tha." Karan said laughing. Premji laughed with him as well and others also smiled.
"Hey Karan bro, I am Siddharth Ganju, you can call me Sid G." Sid came forward giving his hand. Sanjana glared him to which he was about to take his hand back when Karan grabbed it for a handshake. "Hey Sid G bro!" Karan smiled at him. Sanjana shook her head in dismay. "Aise Karan parr toh koi bhi fida ho jayega!" Monami admired his Karan.
She came forward and was the last one, "I am cadet Dr. Monami Mahajan." Karan smiled at her and gave his hand for a handshake. "Hello beautiful!" He said with a grin. All were shocked.
