Y/N Father: For sure... her husband doesn't like that idea!
Yejin couldn't believe that her worst nightmare was standing only few meters from them. She needed to find a way to run far from here, to put Y/N in a safe place.
Y/N Father: So... Yejin-ah, you're not welcoming your husband after so long! Do you know how much energy and money I used to find you!
Taehyung: Aunty?
Y/N Father: My dear Y/N... you should come and greet your father...
His tone was cold, and Y/N couldn't retain her tears. Yejin took her hand under the table and tried to put a smile on her face.
Mrs Son: It's gonna be okay Sweetie, don't be afraid, Mommy will handle this. Boys, please, take Y/N outside.
Yejin stood up but Y/N didn't want to let go of her hand.
Mrs Son : How did you find us? Let the kids go.
Y/N Father: Why do you care about those bastards... did you find another family after you betrayed me?! (He took a carafe of water and threw it against the wall.)
Restaurant owner: What do you think you're doing?! I'm calling the police!
That crazy man didn't think twice and violently pushed the granny who faint when her head hit a table. Yejin immediately went to help her but her husband grabbed her by her hair.
Y/N Father: I'm done playing! You pissed me off a lot, honey...
Mrs Son: Ahhhhh... Kids, run, run!!!
The boys were shocked by the violence of that man. Y/N went near her parents and wanted to separate them, but her father laughed like the devil before slapping her harshly.
Y/N Father: Your turn will come be patient.
Jungkook: You... you were just supposed to take them with you!
Y/N Father: Ohhh... so I'm here thanks to you... thanks... ahahah
Taehyung: JK... what have you done...
Everyone stared at Jungkook. Y/N was crying, Yejin felt sad that that little boy used that way to get ride of them. Taehyung was disgusted by his own brother.
Mrs Son: Taehyung-ah... please... take Y/N far away... ahhhh
Y/N Father: Don't give bad idea to those kids, she is my daughter...
He slapped Yejin two times before Taehyung intervened. He grabbed his arm, but he was not strong enough and he finished in the ground with one movement. Jungkook grabbed Y/N's wrist to run but her father reacted immediately. He threw Yejin against the wall and punched the youngest.
Y/N Father: You're not going anywhere with my property!
Taehyung: She... she is not yours! Don't touch her! (He stood up and took his phone to call for help but Y/N's father kicked him, and his phone crashed on the ground.)
Y/N Father: If you're looking for the guy outside, he is already dead!
Jungkook stood up and wiped the blood at the corner of his mouth. That guy's punch was no joke. He exchanged a gaze with his brother. Things didn't go how he would think. He screwed up. He nodded in direction of Y/N and Taehyung nodded back.
Jungkook: Your punches are only strong enough to hit women and kids...
Y/N Father: Ahahah... you want to play the bad boy with me... I will crash your f*** little head on the ground, and you will beg me to kill you!
Y/N's father (Mr Lee Sehyun) walked toward Jungkook with a sadistic smile on his face. Jungkook stepped back to free the way so his brother could run with Y/N. Taehyung looked at the little girl, she was like absent, crying silently, staring at her mother.
He stood up, grabbed Y/N's hand and ran outside. Mr Lee tried to catch them, but Jungkook hit him with a chair, giving the necessary seconds to his brother to escape.
Lee Sehyun: F*** little shit... I will make you regret it!
Taehyung and Y/N succeed to left the restaurant. They were running to the exit when Taehyung heard male voices. He stopped and hide with Y/N on a corner, keeping his hand on her mouth to avoid to be spotted.
Man: Lee takes so many time to handle his wife and his kid...
Man 2: He searched for her for so long, he must be enjoying the reunion!
Taehyung was right to be cautious. Y/N's father didn't come alone. They couldn't leave the building, they needed help. Taehyung murmured to Y/N's ear:
Taehyung: Y/N, you have to listen to me. I know that you're afraid, but I will protect you, you have to trust me. (She nodded, the tears falling on Taehyung's hand.) We have to find a place to hide, don't make noise, okay. (She nodded again.)
Taehyung took his hand and they walked to the stairs who gave access to the 4th floor. They entered an abandoned office. Taehyung made a quick check of Y/N's state and wiped her tears with his sleeve.
Y/N: Mom... we need to help Mom... he will kill her...
Taehyung: Y/N, calm down, it's too dangerous for you over there. You have your phone with you? Give it to me!
Y/N was trembling while taking out her phone. Taehyung grabbed it and search for his brother' number. His father was not in town.
Taehyung-On Call: Hyung... we need help... we are near the school, at the old building... Mrs Son's husband is here... please come quickly...
Jin-On Call: Where are Y/N and Mrs Son?
Taehyung-On Call: We are hiding with Y/N at the 4th floor but Aunty and Jungkook are still with him... he is crazy...
Jin ordered his brother to stay hide until they arrived. He was at home with Yoongi. He explained the situation while taking his gun. They left with some bodyguards in a hurry. Worried can be seen in his face.
Taehyung: Jin and Yoongi will come and save us... (He hugged Y/N.)
In the restaurant, Jungkook got punch in the stomach par Lee and fell in the ground. That man was about to kick him, but Yejin pushed him and put her body in a protective way between the young boy and her husband.
Mrs Son: Stop it, he is just a kid, don't touch him!
Lee Sehyun: That bastard is the reason I found you, but you still try to protect him... useless B***.
Lee gave 2 kicks on Yejin's ribs, but the woman didn't stop protecting Jungkook. Even if he took the wrong decision, he was a child and she had to protect him, no matter what can happen to her. Her daughter was in security, it's was the essential.
Lee Sehyun: Ahhh... I missed that sensation so much...
Jungkook: Stop that... f**** psycho!
Jungkook was staring at Yejin's face and could see her enduring the pain. Lee grabbed her by her hair once again and dragged her to find Y/N.
Lee Sehyun: Darling, let's go find our little princess.
Mrs Son: Jung... Jungkook, run... go find help...
Lee Sehyun: I told you to stop giving that bastard bad idea!
Lee punched Jungkook's face before he could stand up. He faint by the force of that man's fist. Yejin was powerless, only praying that her little girl and Taehyung had escaped.
Lee Sehyun: Guys... you didn't see my little girl? She was with a punk.
Man: No, no one showed up here! She must be hiding somewhere.
Lee Sehyun: Aishhh... what did you teach to her for those past few months... I will have to punish her very badly...
Mrs Son: I'm begging you, let her go... I will go with you... but don't hurt Y/N... she is innocent, it was all my fault.
Lee laughed but continued to drag Yejin through the floor. His only goal was to find his daughter. After checking everywhere, he took the stairs to reach the 4th floor. His patience was limited and his catch on Yejin's hair reflected his dissatisfaction.
In the car, Yoongi checked the exact position of his siblings via the tracking app installed on Y/N's phone. With the fear, Taehyung's explication were not so clear. They parked in front of the old building after 5 minutes. They didn't care about potential witnesses and get inside with their guns in the hand.
Yoongi: Kill anyone who try to stop us!
Bodyguard: Yes Boss. You two, go this way, you, keep the entry.
The first two floors were clear. Jin was silent since they got out of the car. They were on the stairs to the 3rd floor when they spotted the two men.
Man: You can't come here, get out!
Jin didn't bother to answer and shot the guy on the chest. The second guy tried to run but Yoongi shot him in his leg.
Yoongi: Where is that guy?! I won't ask twice!
Man2: 4thfloor... (Yoongi killed him without frowning.)
On the 4th floor, Taehyung and Y/N were hiding in the office. Y/N was still crying, worried for her mother. Taehyung was in the same state to have let Yejin and Jungkook with that crazy man. Seconds sounded like minutes for him. If only he was not so weak! He was taken aback from his thoughts by the scary voice of that man. He was in the corridor.
Lee Sehyun: Y/N... come here before Daddy lose his patience!
Mrs Son: Ahhhh... Don't come... stay hide...ahhhh
Lee Sehyun: Shut up! Sweetie, if you don't come to me... I will kill your Mommy....
Mrs Son tried to free herself. Lee hit her head against the wall, and she fainted. He let her body falling on the ground and blood was visible on her face. Y/N wanted to go to her mother, but Taehyung was maintaining her tightly. He had no other choice to keep her alive. She tried to take Taehyung's hand off her mouth but even if the young boy was not strong enough to fight against that man, he could handle a little girl.
Taehyung: (Murmuring.) Don't listen to him... Hyung will save her.
Lee was inspecting one of the free room when he heard a gun shot. His friends were not armed so it was not them. He looked by the window and saw two black cars in front of the entry. He swore, knowing that things were not going like he wanted. Who ever those men were, they were probably not there to help him.
Lee Sehyun: So, you have someone to back you up! It's okay, I will be patient... wait for me darling, I will come to you later....
A second shot resonated but Lee was already on the outside stairs, in the back of the building. Jin was the first one to step on the 4th floor. It was strangely calm, and he was focused on every noise. He made a hand sign and 2 of his men went to the left, he went to the right with Yoongi. They were ready to shot who ever will show up.
Man: Boss, we found Mrs Son. She fainted and is bleeding.
The two brothers followed the man. Jin put his gun in his back and kneeled.
Jin: Mrs Son, Mrs Son... (He looked at her bleeding wound.) I'm taking care of her; Yoongi find the kids.
Man: Boss, our man outside saw someone sneaking out from the back of the building, he jumped in a car and left.
Yoongi: That bastard! Find him, no matter what, I need him dead!
Jin carried Yejin in his arms and went to his car. Yoongi and his men were still looking for the kids. They were in their guard, not knowing if the man who escapec was really Yejin's husband and if he was alone. Yoongi entered the old office, gun in his hand. He heard someone breathing.
Yoongi: Get out of here... (His tone was cold. He pointed his gun in the direction of the desk.)
Taehyung:Hy... Hyung... (His voice was low and trembling.) Hyung!
Yoongi saw Taehyung holding Y/N against him. He felt relieve and pulled down his gun to not scare the little girl. The two kids ran toward him.
Y/N: Oppaaaa... Mom... please help Mom...
Yoongi bended down to captur Y/N's gaze. He needed to calm her.
Yoongi: Y/N... Y/N, calm down, Jin is taking care of your mother, everything will be alright. (He caressed her head and she hugged him.)
Y/N: Oppaaaa... (She was crying loudly.)
Yoongi lifted her and she hid her face in the crook of his neck.
Yoongi: Taehyung-ah, are you alright? Where is Jungkook?
Taehyung: Yes, I'm fine. JK was with Aunty on the 3rd floor... you didn't find him? (He was worried than something happened to his little brother.)
Yoongi: Our men are looking for him, let's go.
Taehyung ran first and quickly reached the restaurant. It was messy, the tables were on the ground, and he heard a moan from the corner. It was his brother.
Taehyung: JK! Bro... how are you doing? (Jungkook was sitting against the wall, touching his chin.) Can you stand up?
Jungkook: Hyung... where are they???
Taehyung: They are safe, stand up, we're leaving.
Jungkook: What did I do... it's all my fault... he wanted to kill us...
Yoongi stopped at his younger brother words. His aura became dark again.
Yoongi: You're the cause of this mess!?
Taehyung: Hyung... JK is badly hurt too...
Yoongi: Take him to the car, we're going home, a doc will be there to treat your wounds before I kill you!
Yoongi left with Y/N in his arms. He was so angry but had to calm down to not scare more the little girl, already shaking against him.
Taehyung helped Jungkook to stand up and one of the bodyguard came to support him to reach the van. Jin already left to the hospital with Mrs Son. Her state was serious, and he didn't want to take any more risks.
Yoongi: Let's go, fast! (Y/N felt asleep, exhausted.)
The way back home was silent. Yoongi texted Jin to inform him that the kids were safe, and they were going back home. Jin was at the hospital; the doctor just took in charge Mrs Son.
Man: Boss, the doc is here.
Yoongi: Follow me. You check that girl's state first. She fell asleep few minutes ago. (He went to Y/N's room and put her in her bed.)
Doctor: She has some bruises but nothing serious. I can prescribe something for her mental health if you want. She is trembling even in her sleep. It's a sign of psychical trauma.
Yoongi: Thanks. Please treat my brothers now.
The doctor left the room to treat the youngest brothers' injuries. Yoongi sat on the bed. He took Y/N's hand and put a light kiss on it. His gaze was soft and teary. He almost lost her. He would have never imagined that a strong bond will born between them, but it happened.
Yoongi: You can't scare us like that... I will revenge you...
Taehyung let the doctor take care of Jungkook first. He was seriously beaten by Lee and the bruises were taking a blue color.
Doctor: You will feel the pain for several days. It's maybe useful to go to the hospital to do a complete check up.
Jungkook: No need. Just give me painkillers.
Taehyung: Don't be stubborn! I know how strong that man's hits are.
Jungkook stood up but immediately frowned. He wanted to be strong, but reality was different. Taehyung supported him.
Yoongi: Where do you think you're going?
Jungkook: Hyung... I'm sorry...
Jungkook was looking down to not show to his brothers the tears in his eyes. The guilty feeling was killing him. It was more painful that the hits that he had received. He was stuck with Yejin's image protecting him of her body, in mind. He needed to see her, to see her alive. Yoongi approached and against all odds, he hugged his younger brother.
At the hospital, the doctors finished to treat Yejin. They made several verifications and she had been transferred in a VIP room at Jin's request.
Jin: Doctor, how is she?
Doctor: The patient has a head and facial trauma, 2 ribs broken and multiple bruises on her body but fortunately, she is out of danger. She will need rest and avoid all type of activities for 3 weeks at least. We will keep her tonight just to be sure, but she could be discharge tomorrow is nothing happen after 24 hours. You can visit her now but we gave her painkillers, so she will sleep for a while.
Jin: Thank you Doctor.
Jin entered the room where Yejin was asleep. Her body was link to machines to check on her pulse and other stuff. She had a bandage on her head and colored marks had appeared. Her ex-husband didn't show mercy while beating her.
Mr Kim was on his way back, but Jin was sure that he will be shocked to see his lover in that state. He stared at her, silently.
The silence was broken one hour later by Mr Kim's entrance. His steps stopped when he saw Yejin. It was the second time that Jin saw his father's tears. Jin stood up and put his hand on his father's shoulder.
Jin: Father... she will be alright... she is a strong woman.
Mr Kim: What happened? Where is that M*** F***?!
Jin: I don't know exactly. Taehyung called us; Y/N's father found them at the restaurant and attacked them. I'm sorry, he escaped, our men are looking for him.
Mr Kim: Where is Y/N? How are your brothers? Are they hurt?
Jin: Yoongi took them home. He said that they are fine, but they received hits while protecting Y/N.
Jin didn't know that his younger brother was the responsible of this situation. He let some time to his father with Yejin and went to buy two coffees. He needed to be updated by his men about the track and call Yoongi to have news from the kids too. MrKim had a sad smile on his face when he put a light kiss on Yejin's lips.
The men in charge of tracking Y/N's father didn't find clues but where still searching. Jin was angry that things were not evolving.
Jin-On Call: Yoongi, Father is here. Mrs Son needs to stay in observation tonight, but she is fine... I mean, her life is not in danger. I will stay with Father until she wakes up.
Yoongi-On Call: Okay. I will take care of the kids, don't worry. Call me when Mrs Son wake up. Y/N is sleeping now but she will freak out if she cannot see her mother.
Jin agreed and cut the call. He texted Namjoon, Jimin and Hoseok to ask them to go home. He didn't explain what happened in detail, but only that he wanted them to go back home as soon as possible.
At home, Yoongi asked for more men to guards the house. He surprised everyone when he didn't punish Jungkook but hugged him instead. Seeing him with those bruises and the guilt on his face was enough as punishment.
Yoongi: Now, tell me. I want to know everything, every details...
