aurora's pov:
chris looked deeply into my eyes. i looked over at matt, and he was glaring at chris. i couldn't help but to wonder...is this why matt wasn't really talking to me, and why he appeared annoyed at me.
i followed the triplets as we walked towards matt's car, i sat in the back with nick, and matt drove us home.
i felt like maybe it was a misunderstanding or something with matt, he did seem less awkward and like he wasn't really ignoring me.
matt dropped me off at my driveway, "thank you so much" i called out to him as i hopped out of the car, "no problem" he called back as i shot him a smile.
i walked up to my front door and entered the passcode, i walked in quickly once the door opened. i dropped my bag off in my room and ran down the stairs to get something to eat.
i grabbed a bowl and put strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, and grapes in it. i sat down on the barstool, and scrolled on instagram.
i was scrolling for a while then came across matt's insta page, i couldn't stop myself. i just found myself looking at all of his pictures and scrolling through his comments.
he seems so happy, and today it seemed like he was a completely different person. i missed the way he acted so freely when we first became friends.
i was scrolling more and more through his comments, and all of a sudden i jumped. i heard footsteps coming from behind, it was just my brother, i quickly shut off my phone before he could see.
"that totally didn't look weird at all...what are you hiding" jack said smirking, "nothing" i said trying to not get caught stalking matt's insta.
"okay whatever" he said laughing and walking towards the living room, i watched as he turned on the tv.
i finished eating and put my dishes in the kitchen sink, i grabbed my phone, and i walked up the stairs to my room.
i opened my door and walked over to my vanity. it was around 4:30 pm. i took off my makeup and changed into sweatpants and a sports bra, i jumped onto my bed and turned on my tv.
i got a tv in my room a couple days ago, anyways i scrolled through netflix for awhile, and i couldn't find anything good that i wanted to watch, so i decided to watch outerbanks over again.
i have seen all the episodes of outerbanks a lot, but i loved that show so much, so why not watch it again.
i was all curled up in my fluffy blanket on my bed, and i was laying comfortably on my pillows. i was in the middle of watching the 5th episode of outerbanks, when i felt my phone vibrate on my bed.
it was a facetime from chris.
i quickly paused the show and fixed my hair, i looked in my phone camera to see if i looked fine, then i answered the facetime call.
"hey" chris said in a deep voice, "hii um did you need something?" i asked quietly, "umm actually i was just bored and wanted to talk to you" he said a little shyly, this is the first time he's ever sounded shy around me, he's always so confident, but sometimes that's not always a good thing.
chris and i were talking and laughing on facetime for what didn't seem like that long. i looked up at my tv, the bright light from the tv was still shining down on me. i closed my eyes for a second, the light hurt my eyes. 3:19 am i read from the tv, "shit" i said under my breath.
"what" chris said quietly, imitating me a little bit. i laughed, "we have school in the morning, and i was really tired from yesterdays first day of school" i said, chris stared into my eyes through the screen on my phone.
i thought for a second, i still like matt, and not chris...i think.
"okay i'll let you go to sleep now, i guess see you in the morning" chris said, "okay" i replied well yawning. chris hung up the facetime call, and i stared blankly at my phone screen, did i really just stay up for hours, LITERAL HOURS...on facetime with chris?!
i don't like chris, i can't, right?
i went underneath the warm blankets on my bed, and snuggled into them as i laid my head back on my pillow. i felt myself drifting off to sleep as i woke myself back up, DAMN IT!! i thought in frustration.
i tried going back to sleep, and it actually worked. i woke up to my phone alarm blaring, i turned it off and laid in my bed for a minute.
i picked my phone back up and i looked at the time, it was 7:01 am.
i got out of bed and goosebumps went up my back as my feet touched the cold floor.
i wrapped one of my blankets around me, and walked over to my bathroom and washed my face. i walked back into my room and sat down at my vanity. i grabbed my concealer, mascara, and blush. i grabbed my beauty blender and put concealer under my eyes, and a little bit on my forehead and chin.
i but thin layers of mascara on my top and bottom eyelashes, and quickly put a little bit of blush on. i kept my blanket wrapped around me, and i walked downstairs to get breakfast.
i was still extremely tired because i didn't get much sleep, but i used to always go to bed at 3 or 4 in the morning and wake up at 7 in the morning for school. but i haven't done it in a long time, so i guess that made a difference.
i got waffles out of the freezer that i had made last night. i grabbed one waffle and put it in the toster, i got a plate from the cupboard and maple syrup. i also grabbed myself a butter knife and a fork.
i waited for the waffles to pop up from the toaster, and about a minute later it did. i put it on my plate and sat down at the dinning table.
i put syrup on my waffle then i cut it up with the butter knife, i scrolled through tiktok as i ate my breakfast.
i finished eating soon after and put my dishes into the dishwasher. i walked upstairs to get changed and to get my bag ready for my first real day of school.
i got changed into something like this

once i got changed, i looked at the time and it was 7:53 am, matt said he would be picking me up around this time each morning, so i got everything i need and put it in my bag.
i felt my phone vibrate as i was walking downstairs.

i quickly made sure i had all my things i needed, i grabbed my shoes and put them on.
i grabbed the house key from the dining room, and walked out the door. i waited outside, and not even a minute later matts car pulled up to my house.
i walked towards the car door, and hopped in, "hey i brought you something, i thought you might be tired" chris said handing me a paper cup.
i could smell the amazing smell of coffee, "oh my god thank you soooo muchhh" i said happily.
"no problem, it might still be a bit hot, but i think you can drink it" he said looking into my eyes, i watched as he turned around in his seat, facing the front of the car again.
we soon approached the school and i watched as matt parked in the same parking spot as yesterday, we all got out of the car at the same time.
we were all walking towards our first class, which we all had together, it was now 8:23, and school started at 8:30.
we all stood outside of the classroom, and a couple minutes later the bell rang and we walked in. i walked in and sat near the back corner again, i watched as chris sat to my right, then nick sat on my left, and matt sat beside chris.
we were all talking and laughing while everyone was getting settled into their desks. i class started a little while later, and then nick said something.
"hey you know what i want to do?" nick said to all of us, "what" i asked impatiently, "well are you free friday???" he asked me eagerly.
"yesss whyyy?!?!?" i asked immediately after, "we'll i was wondering, do you want to come over for a sleepover? that way we can hangout not just in school" he said looking at matt and chris.
we were all talking about it, and now i couldn't wait for friday, because now we were for sure having a sleepover all together, at the sturniolo's house.
the rest of the day went by surprisingly fast, chris was being friendlier then normal, which was a little weird, matt was still ignoring me, nick and i were having fun and laughing the whole class like normal.

the rest of the week went by really quickly too, i was still confused of why matt was ignoring me, but i never tried to ask him because i didn't want to bug him, chris and i were on facetime a lot the last couple of days, and nick and i were getting closer and closer, even though we were already extremely close.
before i knew it, it was the end of the day on friday. i've been waiting for this sleepover all week, and now it was finally time!
the triplets had dropped me off at my house after school, and they said to come over at 5:00 pm.
i quickly packed a little bit of my things, and i watched outerbanks while i was doing some homework that i had. i finished all of my homework and i looked at the time, it was 4:39 pm.
i went upstairs to get changed into something more comfortable (outfit below), and i fixed up my makeup.
by the time i finished getting changed and fixing my makeup, it was 4:56 pm, i quickly grabbed my stuff, and grabbed my key and phone.
i got outside my house and locked my door. i started walking to the triplets house, and i texted them saying that i was almost there.
i got to their house about a minute later, and i knocked on the door. i heard footsteps and not long after i saw chris open the door. there standing behind him was nick and matt.
nick quickly brought me into the house and brought me to the living room downstairs. there was a bed, and three couches forming a square, facing towards a tv.
"okay so this is where we are going to be sleeping" nick said speaking really fast. there was a hallway, and down the hallway to the right there was a bathroom, and to the left there was a big room with ping pong table, a mini fridge, and cupboards with games and food in them.
my eyes were wide, "oh my god guys this is so cool" i said looking amazed.
we all went back to the living room part where the couches were, and we started to play different games. we started to play never have i ever.
"put a finger down if you have don't it, and leave it up if you haven't, whoever is left with the most fingers wins" chris said explaining the rules.
"okay i'll go first" nick said loudly, "never have i ever...liked someone the first day i met them" nick said looking towards me, but not making it obvious.
i watched as chris and matt put a finger down, i slowly put a finger down and i noticed matt was looking at me, like he was trying to figure something out.
"okay i'll go now" chris said, "umm never have i ever...been in a relationship"
i put a finger down, and so did everyone else. "i'll go i guess, umm never have i ever cried because of a bad score on a test" i watched as nick put his finger down, i also i put one down.
a couple hours went by, and we were all having fun and laughing nonstop.
we got food from the cupboard and we spent hours asking stupid questions, laughing hysterically, and having a really fun time.
i loved how matt seemed to have stopped ignoring me, but i couldn't be sure if he would go back to doing it again.
i'm not sure how it started, but a big tickle fight broke out, and soon we were all on the floor laughing our heads off.
nick was tickling me and we were laughing so loudly, and chris was tickling matt. matt's laugh was so cute, i loved it. matt was laughing so hard and chris wouldn't stop.
i came up from behind chris and tickled him, he started laughing his head off, and we were all left tired and all of our eyes were watering from how much we had been laughing.
so much time had gone by and it was now 10:40 pm.
"is it okay if you sleep here?" nick asked pointing towards a spot on the couch, "sure doesn't matter to me" i replied.
before we knew it, we had all fallen asleep to the movie. a couple hours later, i woke up, it was dark downstairs, there were no lights on and i could barely see anything.
it was kinda quiet, all i could hear was people breathing, and little movements from them moving in their sleep.
i went up to grab some water from the fridge, i tried to be as quiet as i could so i didn't wake anyone up.
i walked down the hall and i was about to turn into the room on the left.
i felt cold hands wrapped around my waist, and moving me slightly to the left, it sent shivers down my back.
"excuse me...sorry rora" a quiet and raspy voice said into my ear.
i got butterflies as this was all happening, then i realized...it was matt
