hearts day is around the corner
its been a while and I just knew you were with her
I never thought writing for hearts day
but hear me out what I'm about to say
the hidden feelings I had for how many years
the code name I created with my friends
You wear your leather jacket with red pants on a wash day
always make me wonder why wearing it on a hot day ?
As I see you pass by , you gave me that look
and ask what are you doing here ?
replying to you with the same question
giving me head pats and just walk away with your friends
and that really skips a heart beat , but hey I must be calm cool
Every time I went home for lunch, depressed and tired
I see you across the street waving with a smile, going back to school
and that makes me giggle as I walk home , energized.
My closest friends would tease me when you're around
I remember it was your first day in my alma mater
you called me at 6am that you are already there
Seeing your face always make me stunned
I see you drove your bike to destinations you never reached.
Enjoying your stories, yelling and adventures.
But I can't be your everyday as I failed .
I wish to see you soar high filled with experiences.
your we're my last rose and my best friend
you saw the best and worst of me
and I just took it for granted
but you know what I'm glad there are things I able to see.
I would recognize your figure from afar
and were just back to being strangers
I learn a lot from you, surviving in a household
to drawing techniques , to your memes and you being you.
