"Y/n! Breakfast is ready!" I called up to my teenage child, we had the penthurst asylum stream later this evening, I can't wait. This has been a dream for us for quite some time, it's going to be insane. Ricky has been staying with us since he's in town, I knew he'd still be asleep.
"Morning dad." I hugged his waist tightly and he hands me a small stack of pancakes, "morning sweetheart, I want those all gone we have a long night tonight." I nodded and began to eat my chocolate and strawberry filled pancakes, just how I liked them.
Ricky always bashed me for it since he always asks how I can even taste with pancakes with that much chocolate on, he's basic. He's bland, what can I say?
I heard soft music in the background and I recognised the song immediately, I would by One Direction. I giggled under my breathe and filmed him dancing around the kitchen while he washed dishes.
I sent it to Vinny who posted it on his Instagram story. "Do you still wanna come and watch later?" I nodded setting my now empty plate on the counter beside him. "Yeah it would be nice to watch and help set up the stage like I usually do" He smiled and kissed the side of my head.
"Vinny's asked me to help him get his drum kit in his car so I'm gonna go over there a bit later, I catch a ride with him to the asylum, if that's okay?"
"Of course you can get him to be on time since he's always late." I laughed and ran upstairs to get ready for the day. "Hey y/n, are you decent?" I hear dad ask from behind my door.
"Come in!"
"do you think we should play city lights or sinematic after catharsis?" He asked walking into my room while I messed with my eyeliner.
"Well city lights was a popular one on the creatures stream so why don't you do that one again. I remember seeing it all over Twitter at how excited fans were to see city lights being played since you hate it so much." I smiled setting down my eyeliner pen.
"Nah fuck that, sinematic it is. Cheers kid." I laughed almost falling off my chair. I shook my head slightly and went back to perfecting my makeup.
Thankfully we didn't live far from Vinny so it was easy for me to get to his, I grabbed my skateboard and walked down the hall to Ricky's room, I dropped it on the floor and jumped in the king sized bed.
"Rickyyyy there's pancakes downstairs! Go eat them before I put chocolate all over them!" I continued to jump up and down on the bed to wake him up.
I felt myself get grabbed my the waist and pulled off the bed, "leave him alone y/n!" I squealed and giggled watching Ricky sit up in bed.
"Touch my pancakes and you're dead." I laughed falling more into dad. I got out of his grip and ran downstairs hearing Ricky run after me. "DON'T TOUCH THEM! YOU'LL RUIN THEM!" I stopped by the door looking at Ricky who was heavy breathing, I giggled and kissed his cheek.
"That's one way to get you out of bed, I'll see you later. Don't be late you two!" I announced before grabbing my board and skating to Vin's house.
I let myself in hearing a loud crash, I immediately drop my board and run upstairs, "are you alright?"
"Yeah, I dropped my snare drum. Nice to know you care." He laughs, I shake my head and help him pick it up and carry it out to his car.
We fill up the boot with extra drumsticks and the rest of his drum set. "Cheers sweet cheeks." We stare into each other's eyes for a moment as we walk back into the house and he closes the door behind us.
I of course had to trip over my skateboard, I wait to hit the floor, but I never do..
I peel my eyes open to see vin holding me against the wall. "I-uh- thank you.." he pushes my hair behind my ear before slamming his lips into mine, I immediately kiss back. I'd be stupid not to.
We move over to the couch and vin hovers above me, "we shouldn't be doing this, Dad would kill me."
"Fuck him." We crash our lips back together, I feel his hands roam around my chest and down my waist.
We finally pull apart heavy breathing, "we should get going, we're late." I rush to get my shirt back on and so does Vin.
"It's worth being late for." He smirks, we drive to the asylum, the crew helping set up vin's drums while he puts his paint on.
I run over to my dad, he pulls me into a hug. "I thought we were gonna be late, what happened I was getting worried?"
"We couldn't fit the drums in the car but we got it." I smiled widely. "Hey y/n! Will you come help me?" Vinny yells, I nod running towards him. He grabs my hip pulling me around the corner of the wall.
He kisses down my neck sweetly, I hold back a moan, "not here.. my dad will see."
He cuts me off with a kiss which quickly deepens, I happily kiss back with a smile on my face. "Holy shit-" we jump apart seeing my dad stood there.
"Dad-"
"Go home y/n. I'll be back as soon as this is over." I nod slowly. "Chris it was my fault-"
"Not now Vin."
I ordered an Uber and went home ignoring everyone as I left, I got home and fell into the couch with tears running down my face. I few hours later dad walks in still in all his paint, I stayed silent until he spoke.
"Really? Vinny?" He asks leaning against the wall.
"Look I'm sorry it just happened-"
"You won't be seeing him anymore." My heart sinks. "Why not? It was a one time thing? Please!"
"End of y/n! Go to your room."
"Fuck you!" I run up to my room slamming the door behind me, the one time I get a love interest he shits it down..
I never knew how much I liked him until now. He was my best friend and now maybe more. Did I love vinny?
