› 〉FUN FACT ,, WHAT IS LOVE is the first
series of EQUINOX's new trilogy series,
which depicts the starting stage of falling
in love where the girls question themselves
what is love exactly. During the pitching for
the music video, the girls were given a rough
concept of what the music video would be
like. They were all given a chance to pick an
iconic romance film to parody (except for
HYESANG who got an Acuvue commercial).
They originally also wanted to cast one of
MIDNIGHT's male trainees to play all of the
girls' respective love interests but in the end,
went with IROHA and LILI's idea of having
different EQUINOX members play the
love interest of each film.

› 〉FUN FACT ,, The song depicts the crushing
stage of a relationship. When composing
this piece with the concept in mind, GUNO
struggled to write the lyrics for the song as he
found it hard for himself to relate to taking
things slow in a relationship. Hence, he sought
to KYU and IROHA, who used their crushing
stages of their friendship as an inspiration for
this song's lyrics and wrote about their thoughts
and feelings during that stage.

kept back when he was dabbling around and
learning how to use the midi machine back in
2018. GUNO also recounts that the song was
his first ever attempt at trying to compose an
anti-drop. Obviously, he was very critical about
the song when he rediscovered it so he perfected
it for this album.

to be on the EQUINOX BAR album, but was
removed as the EQUINOX girls and their
producers weren't satisfied with the recording
at the time. However, they decided to give it
another go for this album and ended up loving
the final product.

EQUINOX, many agreed it had potential to be
a title track for their future albums. However, as
the bridge then sounded less impactful, the
producers agreed it should be used as a bside
instead. However, during the recording, SONG
suggested raising the octaves of her high note
and adding a few adlibs to the line after
which pleasantly surprised everyone. The song
was thus perfected but many notes it was a
shame the song couldn't be used as a title track.

song to be a ballad. But after a few listens,
she felt the song was too bland and colourless.
So two days before the recording, she pulled
all nighters and changed the lyrics a little
and composed the song from scatch again.

chorus in groups of three because not all
nine of them could fit in the recording booth.
The mixing ended up sounding weird, so
they resorted to bringing mics into the
company's bathrooms where the acoustics

to perform THE FEELS on the Jimmy Fallon
show. However, IROHA would later fall sick
due to the bad weather conditions in New York
and thus, was bed-ridden for days. The group
had to quickly adapt and change their
choreography so that it could fit 8 members and
her lines would then be covered fully by LILI.
