The next morning you woke up to the smell of pancakes. Checking the time you got and ready for the day ,given it was about 6:30 in the morning, you walked out to the hallway and to the kitchen were your suspicions were confirmed because Steve was there making pancakes. He was so involved with the pancakes that he didn't he you come in. Obviously no one got up this early in the morning since it was just us there.
'I should scare him' you thought. Soo you quietly walked up behind him so when he saw you, you be right there.
'You making pancakes?' you ask suddenly making him jump but that was all.
'That was disappointing' you said out loud while snatching a pancake from the large pile of pancakes earning a confused glance from Steve
'What was disappointing' He asked.
Taking a bite of your pancake and then talking.
'1 I wanted to scare you and 2' you took a pause to eat more pancake 'this pancake is really good'.
Happy you liked the pancakes he went back to cooking and the room was filled with a comfortable silence as he cooked and you ate.
'what are you doing up at this time anyway no one is usually up this early except me' he asked you.
'I always wake up now cause I usually go for a run in the morning'
'I was actually just about to finish making these and then go for a run as well. wanna go together.' he asked.
'Yeah sure I'll go easy on you' you said as a joke.
'ha you go easy on me' he replied 'I'll go easy on you'
' Alright your on who ever can do the most laps in an hour wins' you says competitively.
'Fine but what does the winner win' he asks making you both think for a second.
'how about whoever wins has complete control over what the other wears' you propose.
'ground rules though?' he asks.
'um no revealing clothes obviously'
'fair is that all'
You two stared at each other for what felt like 10 minutes until you stuck out your hand for him to shack. Chuckling at your hand obviously thinking he was going to win Steve also stuck out his hand and shook your hand.
'Deal' you both said before getting changed and going out for the run.
You got to central park and made a starting mark.
'be prepared to lose Capsicule' you said to distracted so you could start the run. when he looked at you in confusion of the name you bolted starting the run. Shocked he eminently started to run as well but to he complete surprise you were actually quite fast.
After about 59 minutes of non stop running you were quite puffed you were a little behind Steve but you were not going not to lose. When you saw the finished line even with you legs threatening to out you pushed yourself for the finish line.
Steve also seeing the finish line speed up but just 6 metres before the line you passed Steve beating him for the lasted 5 metres than fell onto the ground breathing incredible loud trying to catch a breathe.
'I'm dying' you yelled/groaned into the sky as Steve stood over you in complete shock and also slight exhaustion.
'You won' he said in complete shock.
'Told you I wound win' you said still not being able to breathe.
Steve offered his hand and helped you up still not grasping the fat that he lost at a running race to a 14 year old.
'but how' he asked
'I dunno I'm just fast I guess' you said finally catching your breathe and laughing as you guys walked back to the car.
'I get choice of your clothes now so suck it' Steve grimaced at thought knowing you were not going to let this win off lightly.
"Crap" he thought.
