Rogers POV
I got to the Kensington, brain and tim already there waiting,
" your late" brain said to me as I pulled my drums out my van.
" yeah was over at Deboras" I told him carrying my drums in the back entrance, swinging the doors open
" ohh you were over at Deboras" brain said wiggling his eyebrows " shut up" " who's debora" Tim asked as he walked in helping me with my drums " shes rogers hot new neighbour" Brian told Tim " Rogers taken a shine to her I think" Brian continued " doesn't Roger take a shine to every girl he lays eyes on" Tim said to Brian," will the pair of you fuck off" I said setting up my drums " she's just a friend" I told them sitting on the stool making sure everything was right, " just a friend, bollocks roger, you can never just be friends with woman" brain said as Tim laughed, I shook my head at them " come on mate let's get a pint before the show" Tim said slapping my back.
We sat in a booth, not to far from the front door, I glanced at the clock on the wall for what felt like the 100th time while Brian and Tim laughed and joked I took a swig of my pint. " your quite roger" brain said
" yeah why do you keep looking at that clock you expecting someone" tim said followed by a loud laugh from both of them. As if on que debora walked in.
" as a matter of fact I am" I said standing up and walking over towards debora,
" debora" I called over the music and the shouting of other voices, she turned around smiling brightly at me, my jaw nearly hit the floor she looked absolutely

" hey rog " she said smiling brightly and hugging me,
" rog? " I questioned still smiling at her
" sorry it just slipped out I won't call you that again " she said her cheeks turning slightly pink as she looked down
" nah don't, I like it" I said I put my arm round her shoulder guiding her over towards our booth.
"Debora this is tim, and of course you've already met Brian" I said as tim shared a known look with Brian, " hi I'm debora nice to meet you" she said as she shook Tim's hand " the pleasure is all mine love" tim said kissing the back of her hand, she let out a small laugh as I rolled my eyes at tim,
" lovely to see you again brain" debora said as she sat down next to be in the booth smiling at him with that beautiful smile,
" what would you like to drink then" I asked her as I take a drink of my beer,
" gin and tonic" she said as I stood up to get it for her she grabbed my arm
" it's alright Roger I'll get it" she said standing up pulling her purse out, I placed my hands on her shoulder placing her back down,
" don't be daft love, I invited you here drinks are on me" I told her and headed to the bar to get it I looked back at her watching me smiling at me,
" the same as usual mate?" The barman asked
" yeah but add a gin and tonic " I told him turning around to look at debora, she turned her head to look at me making eye contact, I gave her a small wave and she waved back turning back to her conversation with Brian, " 3 pints and a gin and tonic"
" cheers mate" I told him picking up the drinks
" she's gorgeous, your a lucky fella " the barman said to me,
" what, oh no she's not, we're not together, just friends " I told him
" just friends? I couldn't be just friends with her, my mind would get the better of me" he said with a wink and laughing loudly, I laughed a little saying cheers again walking back to the table with the drinks,
" there you go gin and tonic" I said placing it infront of her, she smiled taking a sip,
" come on we better head we are on in 5" Tim said standing up and walking away with Brian,
" sorry I was late I didn't realise the time" debora said to me pushing a strand of hair behind her ear,
" it's alright love, why don't you sit over there at the bar, wait for me there I'll get you there after the show" I said leading her up to the bar, she sat on a stool at the bar " I'll be wanting to know if you still think i should be a rockstar after this,
She laughed placing her drink on the bar,
" I have high expectations for you mr Taylor " she joked to me as I was walking back still smiling at each other " and don't buy a drink I'll pay when I'm done" I said as I headed towards the stage, my stomach filled with butterflies, it's alright Roger keep it together just another show, done plenty before I told myself in my head, why I'm I so nervous we have played here loads of times..
