'Que pendejo.' Mimi says.
Translation: What an asshole.
'Now you see why I was pissed.' I say drinking from my large sprite.
'Do you know why he did it?' She asks.
'No,' I reply. 'We just haven't gotten along since I started school.'
'He's hot though.' She says. I glare at her.
'To make matters worse his family just so happens to own the restaurant I work at.' I sigh.
'That's shit.' She says.
'There's nothing I can do, he gave me a hindered dollars as a tip so the pay is good.' I say.
'He must be fucking loaded.' She says.
'Probably.'
'Get that dinero girl!' She says. 'And maybe you can get something else with it.' She winks at me. I roll my eyes at her.
'Never gonna happen.' I snap.
My phone starts ringing, I look down at it.
Alara
Oh shit I forgot to call her back.
'One sec I need to take this.' I tell Mimi. She nods. I walk out of the kitchen and to my bedroom.
'Hey girl.' I say.
'What happened to you!' She exclaims. 'We've all been texting and calling you.'
'I've been busy working.' I explain.
'Well what the hell happened after you left?' She asks.
'I just went home.' I say.
'I can't believe Adriano pushed you.' She says.
'I know, even Diana was mad at him.' I reply.
'Well I'll see you at school tomorrow ok?' She says.
'Yeah see you.' I reply. I end the call and fall backwards onto my bed.

'Yeah it was no big deal.' I say to Aiden as he walks with me to my locker.
The sight in front of me stops me in my tracks.
Adriano is there with his hand halfway up Diana's shirt. He's aggressively making out with her and pining her to my locker. His siblings are just standing there in shock.
What happened to her being mad at him?
'Que puta.' I breathe
Translation: What a bitch
'No fucking way.' Aiden says.
I walk toward my locker and pull Adriano off her. He turns around to me and wipes his mouth with the back of his hand.
His eyes travel up my caramel legs and linger where my pleated white skirt ends.
'Tu pendejo!' I yell. I hit him on his chest, making him look up at me. 'Why would you do that on my locker!'
Translation: You asshole
'I didn't realise it was yours.' He says shrugging his shoulders.
He knew damn well that was my locker. I push past him and Diana moves out of the way. I take my gym bag out of the locker and slam the door shut.
'Well I guess you can take her to your family event.' I snap. 'You no longer need me.'
'Come on Tesoro, don't be like that.' He says.
'Don't call me that.' I snap. Adriano glares at me.
I walk past his siblings without looking at them. Terzo stops me.
'Ignore him, he just feels like being a dick today.' He mumbles.
'Could Dilara Caesar please come to the principal's office straight away.' A voice says through the intercom.
I sigh, could this day get any worse?
I make my way to the principals office and walk in.
Zoe and Becky and sitting in front of his desk. Zoe has crumpled up pieces of tissue on her lap and is crying as Becky comforts her.
'Have a seat Miss Caesar.' Principal Carter says.
I sit down and look at him confused.
'I'm sure you know why your here.' He says.
'I don't.' I say. He points at Zoe.
'We have heard about that little incident that happened on Friday.' Principal Carter says handing Zoe another tissue.
'She started it.' I snap. Zoe lets out another huge sob.
'Since you're new, I'm going to let you off with a warning.' He says. Zoe coughs and sobs even louder.
'I mean, you will be suspended for two days.' He says.
'What!' I exclaim, standing up. 'She provoked me, surely she should get some sort of punishment!'
'I will not tolerate you raising your voice at me Miss Caesar.' He says calmly. 'I waited for you so we could call your mother.'
'You really want to bother the Audrey Caesar?' I laugh. 'Go ahead.'
I hope to god he doesn't call my mother. I don't need her on my back criticising me for another thing I'm not 'perfect' at.
'I don't think she'll be thrilled to know that you suspended her lovely daughter.' I add.
'Maybe we shouldn't bother your mother.' He laughs sheepishly. 'She must be a very busy woman.'
'Oh she is.' I say.
'Fine I'll let you off with a warning.' The principal says.
'What but she needs to be punished!' Zoe yells. She no longer crying, but glaring daggers at the principal.
'Zoe this decision is final.' He says. 'Enjoy the rest of your day Dilara.'
'Thank you sir.' I say smiling. I get up and leave the room.
The bell rings and I head to my third period, gym class.
I walk into the changing rooms and go to the back. I take off my skirt, blue jumper and white turtleneck and put on my grey sweatpants and black tank top.
I walk into the gym and go to stand next to Alara.
'Did you hear about Diana and Adriano?' She asks.
'I didn't just hear them, I saw them.' I reply.
'What? How?' She asks.
'They where doing it on my locker.' I snarl. Adriano walks into the gym with Diana clinging onto him. He's followed by Lorenzo, Zoya and Terzo.
Zoya walks up to me.
'You good?' She asks.
'Splendid.' I reply. 'Where's Alora?'
'She has health class now.' She replies.
I stay quiet.
'He knew it was your locker.' She says. 'I tried to stop him.'
'It's fine.' I reply.
'No hard feelings with the rest of us?' She asks.
'You guys are still in my good books.' I laugh. She hugs me and walks over back to Lorenzo.
'Since when where you friends with the Giovanni's?' Alara asks.
'Since The fight with Zoe.' I say.
'Ok everyone in a straight line!' Coach Brown yells, blowing her whistle.
We all move into a straight line.
'How long do you think that's gonna last?' I say signalling to Diana who's clinging onto Adriano like he's going to run away.
'A day, maybe two.' Alara says.
'I'm betting they'll be done by the end of today.' Carlos says from next to me.
'When did you get here?' I ask.
'I was always here.' He replies.
'Ok we are going to be doing boxing!' Coach yells.
'Dilara and Adriano!' She says. 'You two are partners!'
We walk over to a mat and stand their silently.
'Lorenzo, Diana.' She yells.
'Zoya, Alara you two over there.' She points to another mat.
'Terzo, Carlos, there.' She says. She puts all the other people into pairs.
'Grab two pairs of boxing gloves and get started!' She yells.
'Get me a pair.' Adriano says. I ignore him and grab myself a pair.
I walk back to him and put the gloves on my hand. He mutters something before getting himself a pair.
