Park Nabi P.O.V
I looked around the cafeteria in fear as I gripped the sharp stick close to me, some of the undead students came my way but I quickly smacked them with the stick.
One of them started running towards me and I gasp looking at him. If they aren't alive any more than I guess that means this is perfectly okay. I quickly took the sharp end of the stick and put as much force as I could and stabbed them in the head. The blood splattered across my face and clothes and I squeezed my eyes shut for a second before pulling it out.
I was a little shaky but I kept moving forward through the lunch room. I watched as people I went to school with got turned into those creatures and I couldn't help but feel sad, I hope my friends and boyfriend are okay.
The water sprinklers soon went off.
"Ah what the hell" I mumbled as I started to get wet and bumped into someone. It was Gwi Nam. "Nabi you should come with me, I can protect you" he said.
he then got scared and quickly grabbed me trying to use me as a shield.
"Dude what the fuck" I yelled and pushed him off and quickly stabbed the zombie in the head and looked at him disgusted. "That was honestly messed up" I said frowning down at my ex. Yes the bully Gwi Nam is my ex, I used to date him before he became the asshole he was now. He's always trying to find someway to get me to be his again. But I want nothing to do with him.
I frowned and walked off leaving him there to fend off the zombies on his own, I didn't have time to worry about him, not when he's trying to use people to save himself. I quickly found cheong san and on jo and made my way over to them before we finally made our way out of the cafeteria.
We tried to find some way of escape. But it was hard as we looked around the building. "Hey on jo...have you seen gyeong su...or even Nayeon" I asked frowning. Yes I may hate how my cousin acts but I still care about her. On jo shook her head sadly "no I haven't" she said.
She was about to say something else when we heard screaming, we looked in the direction and saw a student coming where we were before he got attacked by one of the zombie students as we stared horrified at the sight of him getting bit.
Once cheong san came out through the window we started running quickly. I kept ahold of the sharp stick I had just incase. We ran through the buildings to the parking lot as we sadly saw students and staff get devoured by the undead. We tried to find someway out, but the zombies were everywhere.
We then watched as a hyosan building material truck crashed into our school and all the large objects in the back fell out.
"Guys, up there!" I yelled and pulled them with me up the truck as the undead students started heading for us. We quickly climbed up the truck and I could see an area we could get up to if we had a boost.
"Cheong san" I said and he looked at me as I pointed to the area. He nodded and quickly cupped his hands and I stepped on them using them as a boost up on the building holding the stick with me. Honestly anything else would have been a better weapon but its all I have.
He then helped On jo up and I quickly picked her up and placed her beside me. We then helped cheong san up and then we quickly ran to the window and opened it up and slipped inside. We tried running down the stairs once inside, but the undead started coming up and we quickly ran up the stairs. It was hard to find some place to hide because they were everywhere in the school.
One of the zombies tried to attack On jo but cheong san quickly shielded her and I quickly moved out of the way before it could bite me, it then pounced on cheong san and before I could smack it something jumped on me. I screamed as the stick had now flew out of my hands and I had nothing to defend myself with from the zombie on top of me. I kept trying to push it away as it growled and snapped its jaws at me.
Then suddenly it got sprayed away by On jo using a fire extinguisher to help I and cheong san. I thanked her but frowned when I tried to look for the stick.
"Where's my weapon?" I frowned and on jo grabbed my hand.
"We don't have time to worry about that right now, we have to hide" she said as she dragged me through the hallway, cheong San followed behind us.
We then found our classroom and started banging on the door. I looked to see Wu jin and Gyeong su and I sighed in relief at my boyfriend being okay.
"Don't open the door. Don't open it!" I heard a voice scream as we banged on the door and noticed it was my cousin nayeon. Well so nice to see you to I guess.
"Let go!" Gyeong su said as he tried to get the door open as Wu jin tried to keep it closed. Cheong San quickly opened the window
"Open it!" He yelled at them through the window as gyeong su pushed him out of the way and opened the door for us and we all quickly hurried inside the classroom. They closed the door behind us and my cousin looked at us surprised as we came in.
"Nabi.." she started but I frowned at her.
"Save it nayeon, I'm tired" I sigh
"Are you guys okay" gyeong su asked as he closed the window.
I sak quickly ran over and hugged us "on jo, Nabi!" She yelled and we quickly hugged her back "Are you guys okay" she said looking at us worried and on jo nodded "yeah we're alright" she said. I then slipped out of her arms and quickly rushed over to Gyeong su and hugged him tightly as he hugged back.
"Jagi are you alright" he said worriedly and I nodded as I held him close.
"I'm fine..I promise" I said softly and look up at him "what about you, are you okay" I asked as he nodded and gently pressed a kiss to my lips. He then looked over at cheong san.
"How's the campus? Are we dead or what?" He said holding me close to him. Cheong San panted as he stared at us and then walked over to the window looking out it. He watched as people ran in fear and zombies chased after them and it was honestly a horrible sight to see.
We then heard banging on the door and looked to see someone trying to get in as Wu jin tried to keep the door closed. The guy was covered in white powdery stuff and was half way through the door.
"What the hell? Who are you?" Wu jin asked trying to keep the door closed. I tried to look for a weapon just incase we needed one.
"Asshole. Brother...Brother in law" the guy said in pain as he tried to get through. Wu jin looked at him in shock and quickly let Dae su in.
"Oh, come in" he said quickly as Dae su slipped through and then we quickly closed the door once again and locked it.
"They're so agressive" Dae su whined as he started wiping his face off.
"What happened to your face?" Wu jin asked him.
"I don't know, some crazy person sprayed me with a fire extinguisher" he said wiping his eyes, my eyes widened as I quickly looked over at On jo and she looked back at me.
"A fire extinguisher?" gyeong su said confused
"Yeah, damn it" Dae su said as he wiped his face. He then slowly crouched down panting as he looked around "What's happening?" He asked.
"We don't know, people are just turning into...zombies and eating people" I said at the same time cheong san said "who knows?"
"Train. Train to Busan" cheong san said looking at us and Dae su stared up at him in disbelief.
"The movie?" He asked staring at him.
"They're zombies correct" cheong san said and looked at me and I nodded "that's true" I said.
"It's the same thing" cheong san said as everyone but I stared at him like he was crazy.
"Zombies are at the school? You must watch to much tv" Dae su said to cheong san. Cheong San frowned at dae su.
"Watch this. It's true" he said as he grabbed Dae su hand and dragged him towards the window. Gyeong su went to go look with them but wu jin complained about the door.
"Door! Door! Door!" He yelled and gyeong su nodded and went back to holding the door closed as I went over and sat beside him helping him. I didn't need to see what was happening to believe it, I already believed it and agreed with cheong san plus I had already seen a lot of it on the way to our classroom.
We all got frightened when we heard a loud slam on the window and saw a hand.
"Bare su! It's bare su! Help him! Quick! quick!" Dae su yelled as him and wu jin quickly grabbed su hyeok and pulled him into the classroom. Soon after he came up they quickly pulled another person through the window and I saw it was my best friend Nam ra.
I quickly got up and ran over and pushed su hyeok and the others out of the way hugging Nam Ra.
"Oh my Nam ra are you okay?" I asked worried as I looked her face and body over making sure she had no bite marks. She nodded "yes I'm fine" she said as we continued to hug each other.
We watched as su hyeok fell on the floor panting heavily. "It's that. Isn't it? Zombies" he said.
Before anyone could answer Joon yeong started to freak out as he held the door because a zombie was banging and growling on it. He slowly slid down the door in fear.
We just continued to sit in the classroom as we watched as some more zombies crowded around the windows and growled and snapped their jaws at us through them.
"Hey, joon yeong! I think your right. They can't open doors." Gyeong su said as my boyfriend had been one of the people keeping the doors closed.
"Uh let's hold it shut for now" he said quickly, I'm sure he was still scared they'd get through the door. Everyone was busy looking through everyone's bags and stuff for things. I watched as cheong san went over to On jo.
"Are you okay?" I heard him ask her and I watched as she just walked past him, which made me frown since Cheong San is a nice guy.
I continued looking through the bag as I pulled out things I then felt someone near me and I looked up to see cheong San. "Are you okay?" He asked and I smiled slightly and nodded.
"Yeah I'm doing alright." I said softly and sigh. "Also what was that in the lunch room?" He asked curiously and I looked at him confused.
"What do you mean?" I asked tilting my head.
"You and gwi nam?" He said confused and a look of realization came on my face.
"He's just my stupid ex that tried to use me as a shield to save himself" I said frowning looking at cheongsan as he nodded.
"There's nothing I despise more than a man with an ego and personality as bad as his" I said and cheong san sigh and nodded.
"As long as your okay" he said and it made me smile a bit more.
"Don't worry cheong san, nothings going to happen to me I won't let it, in fact I promise you that" I said grabbing his hand and linking our pinkies together. "You won't lose me silly" I said and slipped our fingers out of each other.
Even though I said that to him I really hoped we'd all make it out of here alive.
"I found one!" I sak said happily as she pulled out a phone. We all ran over to her quickly.
"Whose is it?" On jo asked her as I sak looked around at all of us.
"It's yeon ju's. Shit. It's locked" she whined and we all looked at her sadly. Some of us went to find a another phone while others stayed huddled around her.
Nayeon started smacking her arm slightly "do something." She complained desperately.
"What do you want me to do? I can't do anything. It's locked." I sak said to her.
We then tried to figure out ways to open it when we sadly saw the zombified body of yeon ju appear at the door.
"She's right there, let me see that" cheong san said as he grabbed the phone from I sak and headed over to the door. I quickly followed behind him.
He tried to use the face ID but nothing was working.
"Maybe you should just use the emergency call" I said as I gently pulled him away from the door.
"Yeah you don't need to get into the phone to use that" on jo said as she came over to us.
He then quickly started calling 112 as we watched him and Gyeong su and joon yeong kept the doors closed as best as possible.
"Hello. This is Hyosan High school. A ton of zombies showed up at lunch, and they're eating people." He said into the phone quickly. On jo showed up beside him.
"Don't say zombies" she said frowning.
"What else is he suppose to say that were surrounded by flying ponies and unicorns" I asked her slightly irritated at how she was acting. I crossed my arms and ignored the frown she gave me.
"Did you happen to see the movie train to Busan?" He asked him as we waited for him to tell us the police would be on their way to help us hopefully.
"This isn't a joke" he said frowning as he looked back at the zombies "everyone...anyway ah come quickly please" he said into the phone.
Sadly I'm pretty sure we didn't have any luck and nobody was going to show up to help us.

We continued to wait around the class room as the zombies continously growled at us through the windows.
"Stop it!" We heard a voice cry through the hallway, we all looked up curiously as we saw the zombies all head in the direction of the sound.
We were all so confused why they were leaving but honestly I felt a bit of relief at the fact they had finally left us all alone. Gyeong su opened the door and looked at it slightly which scared me a bit because what if one of those things popped out.
"What are you doing moron? Close it" Su hyeok said and grabbed him away from the door scaring gyeong su slightly
"Ah okay, fine" he said as they closed the door and I walked over to them and quickly held gyeong su hand.
"Please don't do that again...what if one of those things got you" I said feeling my eyes fill with tears "I don't want to lose you gyeong su" I said as he looked at me softly and pulled me into his chest tightly. I whimpered as I felt the tears fall down my face and I gripped the back of his uniform tightly.
"It's okay Nana you won't lose me, I'm not going any where I swear" he said as I looked up at him and he wiped my tears gently "we will make it out of this together" he said smiling slightly which caused me to smile back, I couldn't help it when it came to him.
"Where's the police?" I asked as I turned and looked at cheong san, it had been a while since he called them.
"They said they were coming" cheong san said frowning as he looked at us.
"Did they believe you? What if they think its a prank and decided were fooling them and they don't come" Gyeong su asked him curiously.
Nayeon stood up and looked at him and cheong san and I. "Well then try again! And tell them to hurry up!" She yelled.
"Could you stop yelling, what if they come back because of your screaming" I said staring at her. "That wouldn't be good for any of us"
Onjo then grabbed the phone from cheong san and walked near the window as she tried to call someone herself this time. We heard that she called the fire apartment and kept asking them to send someone to help us and if they could get her father to help to if he was there. She quickly lied to them saying there was a fire in our classroom in hopes they would come and save us before hanging up the phone.
Now all we had to do was wait to see if they would actually appear to help us at all...

Author note: (I'm so happy you're all enjoying the book. If you hadn't known already yes gyeong su, I was attached to him when the show started like ahh cute and I dislike nayeon a lot for what she did to him. Like I honestly don't know how I want that chapter to play out honestly and it makes it even worse cause I keep making cute scenes between him and Nabi and like it hurts too Because I cried when gyeong su died. So yeah I'm trying to figure out that chapter when it comes to it 😭)
