I hid behind the couch, not making a sound. I noticed that Erik had walked into the room and immediately quieted my breathing
"BOO" I yelled, popping up behind him
he quickly spun around, turning to face me.
"Jesus Christ, y/n, you scared me"
"what?! I did not scare you, you are the phantom of the opera, you do the scaring"
he let out a chuckle
"no, you did,"
"wow, I thought that was impossible"

I giggled and Erik leaned in to kiss my cheek.
"well, what was the surprise."
"hm?" he grunted
"The surprise, on the letter. you said something about a surprise."
" oh, indeed. I thought we could go for a picnic."
"well that would be lovely, mon Cheri (my dear)"
"well, I have a bag of things, so we can go now if you wish"
"of course, I would love to."

we laid out the blanket onto the grass and set out the food Erik had fetched. he brought bread, Boursin, and many other foods.
"my dear, this is wonderful, I can't believe you did this all for me."
"I would do anything for you, all because I love you."
"i love you too, mon Cheri."
Erik smiled grabbed my face and kissed me. i smiled, feeling the lovely soft lips on mine.
