" [ Allah ] will say, "How long did you remain on earth in number of years?" They will say, "We remained a day or part of a day; ask those who enumerate." He will say, "You stayed not but a little - if only you had known. Then did you think that We created you uselessly and that to Us you would not be returned?" So exalted is Allah , the Sovereign, the Truth; there is no deity except Him, Lord of the Noble Throne. And whoever invokes besides Allah another deity for which he has no proof - then his account is only with his Lord. Indeed, the disbelievers will not succeed. And, [O Muhammad], say, "My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and You are the best of the merciful." "

(Surat-ul-Mominoon
Ayat no. 112-118)

The last ayat is a very beautiful dua.

And there is night here, so good night and don't forget to recite Last two ayats of Surat-ul-Baqra. Believe me I can't even describe its reward.

Last two ayats are,

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ

" The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, and [so have] the believers. All of them have believed in Allah and His angels and His books and His messengers, [saying], "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. [We seek] Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the [final] destination." Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. "Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people."

Abd al-Rahman b. Yazid reported:
I met Abu Mas'ud near the House (Ka'ba) and said to him: A hadith has been conveyed to me on your authority about the two (concluding verses of Surah al-Baqara. He said: Yes. The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) (in fact) said: Anyone who recites the two verses at the end of Surah al-Baqara at night, they would suffice for him.

It is narrated on the authority of Abdullah (b. Umar) that when the Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) was taken for the Night journey, he was taken to Sidrat-ul-Muntaha, which is situated on the sixth heaven, where terminates everything that ascends from the earth and is held there, and where terminates every- thing that descends from above it and is held there. (It is with reference to this that) Allah said:
When that which covers covered the lote-tree (al-Qur'an, Iiii. 16). He (the narrator) said: (It was) gold moths. He (the narrator further) said: The Messenger of Allah ( ‌صلی ‌اللہ ‌علیہ ‌وسلم ‌ ) was given three (things): he was given five prayers, be was given the concluding verses of Sura al-Baqara, and remission of serious Sins for those among his Ummah who associate not anything with Allah "

Ilham

Ilham's life after leaving his home wasn't much better. He used to practically live in the moque, he chuckled humorlesly of how nobody in the world cares about him, about where he is, how he is. His only friends were not there, too, as they were in another estate for the school tour.

He would eat from daawat (gather feasting) in mosque, and sometimes would sleep there, too. Few times when the moque would be closed in the night, too, he would go sit on the outside of a shop. Sometimes people would give him mean looks, as if he was inferior to them. Only if they knew that the boy alone had the money to buy the whole city and more.

From some money that he had in his jeans pocket when he left, he brought some cheap clothes and some food, and he would bath in the moque too. But his heart was always on the peace, he had Allah with him. It had been half month or two weeks since he left his home and he was sitting on the middle saff (line) of the moque, when a Mua'lim with white Arabian dress and glowing face with noor, sat on the chair in the hall.

He said his salam, Aslamu'alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakathuhu, and everyone replied him gaining thirty good deeds each.

]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]]

The moque was divided into two floors, in the lower hall men were sitting and on the upper hall covered with veil women were sitting. And the Mua'lim held a mic so his voice could go to female section, and there were mics in each saff of men, and in the women, too, if they needed to ask any question.

The Mua'lim smiled at them, and said,
"I love Islam so much, how much every good Muslim respect their boundaries, and how every boundary is for their own good.
When I was coming here, my eyes came to fall on a couple, there was a girl and a boy. They did not stand with any distance, and then some more boys came and the girl hugged each of them.

I was standing there waiting for a friend and I couldn't wait to go away from there, and within me standing there, a boy came and claimed that the girl cheated on him and then there were lots of fight, but thankfully my friend came, and I went from there.

But I didn't forget about that. I... I truly don't know how they live life. The girl didn't know that it was not a good thing to be this close to any unknown guy. They have no boundaries at all, and if you think I am sure from that girl's own point of view, she wasn't wrong to her own self. Why would she? She was allowed to do anything, didn't have any boundary.

And when that happenes that humans live without any boundary or rules, the first murder the society views is of their own moral. A brutal murder.

And it made me so happy that it doesn't happen in Islam. We are taught about what is right and what is not. We are not allowed to be with a non mehram. And these things make us and our society far away from bad things. As we touched the topic, does any body here knows what or who actually mehram is? "

The Mua'lim looked around the hall, and then a female voice said,
"I have read in so much stories whenever the word mehram will be used, they will explain it by saying brother and father".

The Mua'lim smiled, "Jazakillahu khairun, ukhti. But are brother and father are just what is mehram?"

A boy said, "Mehram is someone we can talk to, freely. And they are my sister and mother and my grandmothers".

He smiled and said, "Jazakallahu khairun, akhi".

"It is truly a kinda sad thing that even the born Muslim, or the people who knows about Islam, doesn't know much about mehram even though it is such an important part of every Muslim's life. And they are not to be blamed, they are not even taught about such an important thing.

But this topic is a very very important part of our life. "

He smiled widely, and then said,
"The word 'Mehram' in arabic means forbidden.
In the time of ignorance, so many kufaar (non believers) would do disgusting things, they would marry their own mother, own step daughters, step sisters, the women their father has been with. And it was completely normal among them. Sadly"
His eyes showed the pain, "this has started happening in nowadays, too. Signs of Qiyamah."

He addressed the people there,
"You know in Islam before marriage a girl or boy is taught that they should be patient. And when they do marriage, they get so many beautiful gifts and Blessings for their patience, so marriage is very important in Islam. And the people who you can't marry or in the word who your mehrams are, are very close to you.

You can sit with them, talk to them freely, and it's not necessary to wear your hijab in front of them. Because in mehram relations marriage is forbidden, so there is no chance of any bad emotions. And most mehrams are blood related relations. And they are truly close and special in your life, your mehrams.

And who are your mehrams? About this, Al-Rehman Himself Has described them in detail in Surat-ul-Nisa,

بِسۡمِ اللّٰہِ الرَّحۡمٰنِ الرَّحِیۡمِ

"In the name of Allah , the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful."

"Prohibited to you [for
marriage] are your mothers, your daughters, your sisters,
your father's sisters, your mother's sisters, your brother's daughters, your sister's daughters, your [milk] mothers who nursed you, your sisters through nursing, your wives' mothers, and your step-daughters under your guardianship [born] of your wives unto whom you have gone in. But if you have not gone in unto them, there is no sin upon you. And [also prohibited are] the wives of your sons who are from your [own] loins, and that you take [in marriage] two sisters simultaneously, except for what has already occurred. Indeed, Allah is ever Forgiving and Merciful. "

(Surat-ul-Nisa
Ayat no. 23)

There was this enchanting peace in the mosque and Mua'lim's recitation of Holy Quran echoed in the mosque, and so many people were in trance hearing it.
He smiled,

"To elaborate it more, let's count on finger tips about who mehrams are,

== Mothers /for girls their fathers
== Sisters /for girls their brothers
== Mother's sisters / for girls Mother's brothers
== Father's sisters / for girls Father's brothers
== mother in law /for girls father in law
== The lady who has nursed him with her milk and her daughters /for girls her sons
== step sisters / for girls step brothers
== step mothers / for girls step fathers
== step daughters /for women her step sons

==In Surat-ul-Nisa it is described that the women a man's father has been with, is forbidden for him, even they were together for a very little time / and the same for girls, the man their mother has been with
>> and it is forbidden to marry two sisters together (it must be remembered that brother in law can never be mehram, it's just a boundary here that is being introduced, that a man can not have two sisters together in marriage.)"

"Now keep in mind, my brothers and sisters, that even though parda is not that strict in front of mehrams, but it is not like that the woman comes in front of them in short skirts, short shirts, no, a parda is what every man and woman should have, and except bathing, or changing dress, or any important reason, parda should even imply even when you are alone. Because do remember that you can't see other creations like angels, jins, but they can. That is why in paranormal possession cases, there are mostly girls who becomes victim. "

There came scared voices from the women's floor, and Imam chuckled,
" It wasn't to scare you, I am just telling. That is why always say Bismillah before undressing and bathing".

"What I was going to tell you, even in these mehrams parda is a good thing and must, too. But when a woman marries a man, then they are called mehrams of each other. They are themselves the clothes of each other, and you know why?"

He looked around the hall," You know why in Islam, spouses are called clothes of each other. Because even after knowing each other's secrets, they don't tell it out. They cover them.
And when the connection of soul mate and true love is blessed by Him, then one can't even imagine the buffets of Raihmats He bestowed on them."

The Mua'lim had a very wide shining smile on his face, and that brought the same in Ilham's face, too, along with the longing.

-------------

That night, the mosque was closed in the night, and Ilham had to go outside. He felt cold as there were dark clouds on the sky.

He was wearing his black shirt, the shirt he wore when he left his home, and had the bag in which his some other clothes were.

He was walking to the other side of the road, and before he knew his foot stumbled and his clothes got stuck on the tree's branch nearby. His face was muddy, and his clothes was now muddy and tattered, too. He looked at his elbow and found relief that it was not injured, there was just a scratch.

But it did get him by shock, and he was trembling. With his trembling legs, he sat near the footpath. And hugged himself. He was feeling scared and hungry. He took a nap after maghrib, and missed the daawat (gathering feast), and it was the first time he did that. And for the first time he felt starving, a tear fell from his eyes, and he whispered, "Allah.. I need your help.."

And it had been no more than some seconds, when a beautiful girl, with glowing face saw him and she dragged his brother.
His brother saw the boy in black clothes trembling, and went to Ilham.

Ilham blinked and saw in front of him, a handsome young man who looked around twenty, with black hair and striking green eyes. The man kneeled down to him, and said, "Brother, why are you here?"

Ilham hugged himself more, and in nervousness gripped his shirt, as he said, "I-I am a homeless man. I have nowhere to go.." Ilham felt a deep pain in his heart as he said, so, he wanted to cry, he wanted to hide. But if only he knew his life was going to take a turn, for the so much better.

Because the man in front of him was none other than AbdulWadood, and that girl, Hana. They took him to their car, and there Ilham's stomach made noise, he felt embarrassed. And denied when AbdulWadood asked him. But taking him by complete surprise, he found a hand from the backseat with a shawarma. He denied but his stomach deceived him, and he took it from her. There were no words to describe how much he was touched by her act of kindness.

That day Ilham met three important parts of his life, the man who was going to be closer than a brother to him, AbdulWadood - the precious love of his life, Hana, and Inspiration House.

Life in inspiration house was awesome, he felt so much nice people, felt so much loved . And a very important thing, he got to see Hana everyday. Before Ilham never felt even the slightest urge to look at girl, and there was not even a nano spark he felt in his whole life, but when he saw Hana, it was like a complete electricity explosion, and he couldn't get his eyes off her.

The feelings he had for her were indescribable, and had so much depth. He was sure that Hana was the soul mate he had waited so desperately for. He knew he couldn't express his limitless love to her, so he started writing letters. He convinced his heart that he would send them, but even he knew that he would never have the courage to give these letters to her.

Months passed by, and the amount of love in his heart along with the letters increased. He got a job, in an architectural firm that he was so much happy and grateful for. It was AbdulWadood who did it. And Ilham was so much grateful to his Allah Almighty.

And then on a fine day, Hana, when she was visiting Inspiration House, she found out those letters. Ilham had moved to an apartment by then, and he happened to visit Inspiration House that day but in the evening, and he was with some children when a staff member of Inspiration House, called him. He told him that there was someone there to meet him.

Ilham was confused, and then a hope grew up in him that maybe it was his dad who came to visit him. He came for him finally. Even though Ilham was still not agreed to his father's terms, but he wouldn't refuse the chance of meeting his only family, his father whom he still loved.

Blood verily has its attraction.

He ran and ran so fastly, even when he was out of breath, he still ran fastly and leaned on the main gate for support. His happiness knew no bound when he saw a man's back, he was muscular and Ilham smiled widely because KJ was a muscular and strong man.

"Da..."

But he froze when the man turned, and Ilham felt like his world was stopped. It was Mark with his ever present smirk, making Ilham take a big step back.

"Hello, there, young master", Mark waved.

Ilham gritted his teeth and said in a rough tone, "I don't see any young master here, I don't know about whom you're talking about".

Mark smirked more and stepped closer to Ilham, "I feel like you have changed so much", he said while looking at his slight beard and arabic dress, "but still haven't changed even a bit", he said, "the innocence in your eyes is still the same. You're still young master to us, and know that we'll be waiting for you".

"I am not your young master, I am Ilham, Ilham Kashif. That's all I am".

"Come on young master, it's been almost an year", Mark said, "Come back, your dad and your position is still waiting for you".

Ilham glared at him and Mark appreciated the aura of dominance Ilham had without even knowing, but in his mind, and said,

"You know after you left, we thought that you will come back after just few days, because what did you have? You didn't have any money or source of living with you. We were certain that you'd be coming sooner, but then you didn't," he continued,

"We searched for you, so much, but we couldn't find you. We still couldn't leak out your identity to the world because we didn't want to risk your safety. So that was much harder task for us, because we could just let few guards who had seen in your search.
And we couldn't find you at all."

Then Mark started taking circles around Ilham,"Then a few days ago, a guard that was around Owais Adam's firm, saw you. The guards that were in search of you, were senior and highly trained, and then there was another team who was around Owais Adam and Badr Yousaf, and even if they saw you, they wouldn't have recognized you. If that guard hasn't come to meet that another guard, we still maybe couldn't have find you".

Ilham was irritated and getting angry, but he was confused too as to why they would hire guards to keep eye at Mr. Adam and Badr. And Mark continued, still taking those circles around Ilham,

"When we found out that you were living in shelter home, we were so disappointed, I mean the boy who can easily buy the whole city, is living in a homeless shelter home", Ilham was going to snap and Mark said, "but you made us proud when we saw that you were in Owais Adam's company".

"Tell me what did I do to make you proud so I can change it instantly!", Ilham spat and Mark smirked, "Don't pretend like you don't know anything".

When Ilham's expression didn't change, Mark gasped and laughed, "I can't believe that you are that innocent and didn't know anything. Let me tell you, Owais Adam is the officer that was in charge of diary, and Badr Yousaf is his assistant in this project, and they both are very successful agents".

Ilham was shocked, his eyes went wide as he looked at Mark in disbelief, "But... But he is an architecture, infact owner of a very famous architecture firm. And Badr Akhi is a software engineer...",and then Ilham remembered something, and his eyes went more wide as he recalled what Mark said, "and how did you know that I knew about the diary?"

Ilham felt fear, did they do something like torturing those kids?

"Young master, after you left I was very much confused of your behavior, the young master we knew would never want to barge suddenly in boss's room and ordered the guard to take you home even before your school has ended, and not to forget what you said when you saw Ricky's dead body, you said, "so it's true..." it does mean that you already knew something already ".

Ilham was so nervous as Mark observed him keenly," l guessed that something would have happened that day, because last night you were completely alright. So it was something that would have happened in that day or more precisely at school that caused you to leave school like that and come to boss's office,or more like barging in...so we checked all the CCTV footages of that day of your school and look what we got",

Mark showed him his phone screen, where the footage of that incident was playing, where Alex and Bob were telling him about KJ.

Ilham felt bewildered and he looked at Mark disbelieving the fact that they would go to this extent.

"But let me help you, the story that, that boy Alex told you was incomplete but totally true", Ilham even after knowing all about KJ, still got surprised, "so it is true that dad killed Alex's brother?"

"Absolutely true", he smirked, "in fact I was standing right there, watching him die".

Ilham winced and took a step back making Mark stop the circles he was going around him, "Let me tell you what else he didn't tell you. It's true that we knew that Owais Adam was in charge of the case, and we went after him and then one day he hid that USB in a diary, the edition of that book was
'Hijabi's Diary". We took all the other books of that edition so that there will only one book left of that edition, that would be the diary.

We went insane, completely insane for that diary. Even placed a reward on it, and that diary worthed more than millions. We planned months against Owais Adam but then we got a news that he had lost that diary, and it was confirmed when on the court he didn't come with the diary. Instead he pleaded to the court to give him some more time. Because of that, the court hearing delayed an year. The news that Owais Adam had lost that diary, was a good and bad news for us.

Good that we had the chance to find it, and bad that it was much more difficult to find it from Owais Adam than finding from the entire world. It could be anywhere. Anywhere at all! "

Mark had the fire in his eyes, "We found a thread about Owais Adam's best friend, AbdulRahman. It was a weak thread of doubt but it was still there, so one night I went to him and offered him a large sum of money and he'd have to spy on Owais Adam for us, and give us all the information he knew about diary. But he declined, an honest man he was, what we fear most. But we threatened him, his children's life.

Those days you were our most main priority and we were focused on finding you, and before we knew AbdulRahman eloped from there with his family. We got ignited, and we searched for them, but then we kept it our least priority when we found out that before eloping, AbdulRahman didn't contact Adam even once, and if he any chance had the diary, then he would have contacted his friend even once, but he didn't. So we left them, but from some sources we found out there were many chances that AbdulRahman once had that diary. So our search team was on them, and whenever we would get thread about them, they'd elope somewhere else.

In those days, we had so much at our hand, searching you, keeping guard at Adam and Badr Yousaf, them, and so many celebrities and influencers who were also at risk because of the evidence in that diary. But recently we again visited AbdulRahman's previous home, and found an old lady there, had to threaten that old hag, but there were not any clue about where they are. But now that you are found, we can put all our research team on them. And remember, young master, you have come with me."

"No, I won't choose that path at all!", Ilham said, or more like glared.

"You have to, now or later", Mark smirked, Ilham was so much angry, and he hissed, "I don't know why I have that feeling, that the day I will go there will be the last of your life, Mark".

Mark laughed, "You are funny, young master".

"You have just 48 hours to make your choice", he said and patted Ilham's shoulder before walking to his car.

Ilham stood there confused, scared, worried, he didn't know that, all this is somehow related to his father figure, Mr. Adam, and he didn't know what he should have done.

On the walk to his car, Mark received a call, "Sir, a happy news for boss, we have got a very certain thread of where AbdulRahman is".

Mark smirked, and slightly turned to look at Ilham who was going inside the building and said, "A very good news indeed, bring on the plan".

-----___--------_____--------_______-----

Ilham was crying on the prayer mat, he was so much sad and hurt, he thought that his father would have missed like he did. He did, but he still wanted Ilham to choose that path, as if he just meant to him for that.

He so much wanted to go his father, but he knew his father would never accept him if he didn't choose that path. He would never let Ilham choose a good man path.

And Ilham didn't want to lose Allah Almighty, Who had been there for him when no one was. Who was most beloved for Ilham. Who Loved Ilham more than anyone could. Who was his Creator.

Ilham prayed the Ishikara prayer and slept in his apartment room. In his dream, Ilham could only see Hana, a smiling Hana and could feel even in the dreams his deep feelings.

He woke up with a jolt and felt that it could be the sign. Then he thought that why Hana would like somebody like him? Insecurities.

But he knew he would rather do this then regret later on. So after praying and a long dua, he went to Mr. Adam's home and gave his proposal.

He had left everything to Allah Almighty. And next day to his utter surprise he was called on in Mr. Adam's office where he met Hana.
His happiness knew no bound when for the first time he was talking directly to her and how she smiled at him. When the time was over and Hana was going to stand up, Ilham spoke abruptly, "Please, just for little more time?"

Mr. Adam agreed but this time AbdulWadood sat with them, with head phones in his ears. Hana asked him shyly what he wanted to talk about, and Ilham stayed hesitant. Then finally he told Hana about all his past, his previous name, his life in mansion, his dad, who he was and how he left his home. He knew he wouldn't be able to live with himself if he cheated on Hana by not telling all about him.

He was hesitant to tell about the rivalry between Mr. Adam and his dad, because he wasn't sure if Hana knew about Mr. Adam being secret agent.
But then Hana told him about the day when Mr. Adam and Badr was talking, she was standing in that room and no one knew about it (the secret about who was listening to Mr. Adam and Badr in a chapter)

When Ilham told her all about that, he was nervous or more like afraid. He was so much afraid if Hana would accept him, knowing all this about her. Then he hesitantly asked her about what was her decision now. And he spoke it with his voice cracking and fear filled.

But then what Hana said, made him so much relaxed and happy,
"You know... respect for you in my heart has increased ten times more. You left your home for the right path, and give Allah Almighty your first priority as everyone should. I can't even imagine what you have been through when you were alone. But I can say that I am truly lucky to have you".

The wind blowed softly and Hana's hijab was flowing smoothly, as Ilham looked at her with lovestruck expressions, with that smile and look in his eyes as he stated at the love of his life. Oh how much he loved that girl!

That day, Ilham did all his work with a huge smile on his face, making every colleague of his, to look at him weirdly. They thought that after going to big boss's office, he would get more work as he was being called suddenly. But here he was smiling widely.

Maybe he got a promotion, but then he won't be smiling this huge for that.

Even to his apartment he walked with happy jump in his steps, and after praying Isha, he drifted off to sleep with a huge smile.

Not knowing how eventful his next day was going to be.

BANG BANG!!

He woke with a thud, and looked around with panic. It had been just an hour since Ilham slept after Fajr. And he was surprised when he heard the loud banging on his door.

It was actually the first time since anyone visited his apartment, and that too with such voilent banging.

He picked up the bat that was placed on the sofa and walked to the door, slowly with alarmed posture but the banging got more loud.

He stood with fight posture and opened the door, in front of him he saw - -

Truly it's a loooooong chapter that took me days to write it. Hope you like it!

And did you like the lecture, I feel so good after adding a lecture, it's been many chapters since I added it especially with the characters.

And you know what happened. I was thinking of adding the topic of mehram and I knew I would have to myself see all about it again so not to tell anything inaccurate and with more detail. But I had an assignment that's very important. And I was confused and worried how I would do it.

But then you know what happened? Out of so many, topics I was given the topic of mehram as my Assignment. I was surprised and happy, too, maybe it did mean something ♥️

Now now who's at the door? And what about AbdilWadood, Badr and Mr. Adam who are still trapped? Any guess?

Stay tuneee

Till then
