At the most randomn-est xyz Cafe
A big group of people just walked in.
Some random person turns to look from their seats.
"Woah! Did we accidentally walked into a celebrity Cafe?!"
Oikawa, Akaashi, Kenma, Suga, Atsumu and Kageyama walked in.
"Why are we here again?", Akaashi asks.
"We're here to discuss Tobio's love life!!"
"Oikawa I think! I think you need some help."
"Oh how you wound me Suga."
"Oikawa san I told you we don't need to be here for that."
"No obviously we need to be here. Actually Tobio's crush is-----!!"
"Oikawa san-"
"Hello everyone may I take your orders? Ah Kageyama kun you're here again? Will you take the same as usual?"
A small hint of red clung on to Kageyama's face.
"Ah-"
"Hey Chibi chan! Today I'll decide Tobio's order hehe."
"Ah you're here too Oikawa san? It's a big crowd today isn't it. I'll write the order please tell me."
Hinata takes the rest of their orders and make his way towards the counter.
He starts working on the coffee...
Kageyama's eyes watched Hinata's every single movement.
Everyone, 'So obvious.'
This time Kenma decided to break Kageyama's train of thought,
"You two dating yet?"
"No..."
"If you don't confess soon, I'll take him away with me."
"Huh?!"
Everyone was really shocked at Kenma's sudden confession.
"No Kenma you can't do that."
"Why not? He's pretty."
"For you to call someone pretty is pretty surprising in itself 😲"
"Oikawa I'm gonna break your neck."
"Gahh so scary!!!"
Meanwhile where on one side of the table this conversation was happening and everything was in chaos, Suga drifted his attention to Kageyama who was already back to his earlier action.
"So it's that boy huh?"
"Yeah..."
"He's really pretty."
"I know..."
"You're so whipped."
"I know..."
Sugawara then nudges Oikawa.
"Oikawa I think we should get outta here. I have a plan."
"Oooooooo tell me."
After some whispering here and there, without letting Kageyama know, everyone flee out of the shop one after another.
After few minutes later, Hinata was carrying the huge order for Kageyama's table. Kageyama gets up to help Hinata. As they start approaching the table again,
"Where'd everyone else go?"
"Huh? They were just here though?!"
"They left you?"
"Now who's gonna finish all this?"
"Hehe I'm imagining a bloating Tobio."
"Would you like to finish this with me? It's almost time for you to close the shop right? This stuff is too much for one person. Think of it as my treat. "
"//If you don't mind//"
"Huh Ah //// I don't. I really enjoy being with you.///"
Both of them somehow finish the food together.
Hinata complains,
"Ah I'm so full!!"
"Me too."
"Liar. You didn't even eat anything properly except sipping that coffee of yours!!"
Well the thing was that Kageyama didn't like sweet things. He only came to this Cafe to admire Hinata's beauty while he was working and since Oikawa was a sweet lover, he took cakes with him for Oikawa. That was also how Oikawa came to know about Hinata.
"I'm not hungry."
From somewhere outside the Cafe,
"Ack no my Cake!! Damn you Tobio!"
"It was your stupid idea that I had to leave my apple pie for someone else, but since it was him who ate it..."
"Oh come on Ken Ken!! I'm missing out on my chocolate cake and you have time to be worrying about your apple pie?!"
Back inside the Cafe
Hinata cleaned everything up and was closing the shop.
Kageyama was right outside the door waiting for Hinata. Hinata locks the shop's door,
"Kageyama kun? What are you still doing here?"
Blush.
"//It's late so I thought I would walk you home? Li- like only if you want!! ///
"/// Sure if you don't mind?///"
They both start walking, with pretty setter squad tailing behind.
"Man would you two just kiss already?!!"
"Oikawa you bish shush!"
Sugawara shuts Oikawa.
After ten or so minute walk they reach Hinata's house entrance.
"So this is it..."
Hinata really didn't want to leave.
"Yeah I guess I'll see you at the cafe later."
"All this tension is making me want to slap Kageyama. "
"Kozume you can't do that."
"Oh come on Akaashi."
Meanwhile back to where Hinata and Kageyama were,
Hinata turns around and unlocks his door. He was about to enter when,
"Hinata!"
"Huh yeah?"
"//Can I have your phone number and if- if you'd like I would like to ask you out properly... I understand if you don't want to-//"
"///Yeah Sure! I would love to go on a date with you!!!///"
In a hurry, Hinata types his phone number on Kageyama's phone.
"//Then...//"
Hinata places a quick peck on Kageyama's cheek and runs towards his door.
"//Jaane Tobio.///"
Kageyama stand there dumbfounded.
He places his one hand slowly to where Hinata just kissed him.
"/////////"
After a while.
"Has he short-circuited?"
"Should we go out now?"
Then at the same time Kageyama dials a number on his phone.
"Wait. He's calling someone."
The setters stop where they were trying to listen who he's calling.
"Hinata..."
"Kageyama?"
"See you soon too."
"///Yeah see you:)///"
Hey! HEY!! HEY!!! How are you all doing!!!!? I'm not doing fine at all. There's too much on my plate at the moment huff. It has been a while since this was updated and this has been a draft for months now so I finally came back to finish it today. There may be many mistakes, more so than usual, because I haven't revised it.
Congrats to our first Kagehina one shot. I never thought I would write one. The book will end soon. I think at most one or two chapters. Ja then, See ya all soon.
