"Going somewhere?" I ask tackling the snake and holding him in place with my foot.
"Uh-oh!" The snake shouted wincing at the pain by my foot
"Thought you could joyride through town and not be noticed, eh? Where's the last Fangblade?" Jay interrogated
"I don't know what you're talking about." The snake said looking away
"You know what it is. The fourth Fangblade. When Pythor finds them all, he plans to unleash the Great Devourer." Kai stated
"Oh, that Fangblade. Haha, you're too late. Pythor's already there now. He's probably already digging it up. If I were you, I'd start preparing for the worst, because when the Great Devourer is awakened, there will be nothing it won't consume!" The snake exclaimed laughing
"Won't that mean it'll consume you too?" Zane questioned making the snake think for a moment to absorb this knowledge before freaking out.
"Ah! Please, you have to stop him. That snake is crazy. I don't wanna unleash the Great Devourer. I'm a snake, not food!"
"Is it really too late to stop Pythor from getting the last Fangblade?" I asked
"You're days behind him. There's gotta be something else you can do!" He begged desperately
I stand up letting the snake free to run away.

"The Venomari's right. By the time we cast sail clear across the other side of Ninjago, Pythor will have already beat us to the last Fangblade." Nya informed back in the bridge room
"Oh, come on, guys. This is the last one. We gotta get it. We gotta think of something." Jay encouraged
"Hmm." Cole thinks
"Hey." Lloyd speaks up
"Huh?" I ask
"All we have to do is just get one Fangblade to stop him. What if we take back the other three? Pythor wouldn't risk having them all on him. He's probably hidden them somewhere while he goes for the fourth." Lloyd asserted
"It's so simple." Cole admitted
"Huh, why didn't I think of that?" Kai wondered out loud
"It can't be that easy." I reply
"Easy? My algorithms suggest taking the other three would be far more dangerous. Pythor would undoubtedly have them protected by his top generals." Zane concluded
"Ha, finally. I don't have to hold back." Kai stated
"Even if you could steal the other three, you don't even know where they are." Garmadon said making me roll my eyes
"And he's still here because...?" I implore
"For the past few weeks, there have been almost no Serpentine sightings. How are they moving around? It's like they're ghosts." Sensei commented ignoring me
"Wait! They are snakes. Bridge, give me a sonar sweep of Ninjago." Nya called and the computer shows no activity.
"See, nothing. It's just like Sensei said." Kai retorted
"But what if they aren't traveling above ground? They're snakes, right? Snakes burrow. Bridge, now give me a sonar sweep of Ninjago but twenty feet below surface." Nya called again and the computer shows to us the tunnels the Serpentine took.
"All the tombs have been interconnected." Kai observed
"To make one massive underground fortress." Cole replied
"And all this time, right under our noses." Jay said
"Or rather, feet." Zane corrected
I pointed to the main base on the screen "There, that's the most protected area. The Fangblades must be held there."
"Then what are we waiting for? Nya, set the course." Sensei spoke
"Already on it. We'll be there by sunup."

I was walking down the hallway when I turned a corner coming face to face with you guessed it my father.
"It's really inconvenient to see your face everytime I turn a corner." I stated pushing him out of the way
"I may not have been always present in your life but you will respect me!" He declared grabbing my arm swiftly
"Respect?!" I shouted pulling my arm out of his grasp glaring intently at him. "I will never respect you."
He paused but then starting laughing manically
"What?" this man is crazy I can't believe we're related.
"Your so much like me." He replied grinning manically
"No I'm not."
"Do you want to know something daughter?"
"Not really."
"If you ever have sudden urges to yell at your teammates or hear voices from the departed just know that I am the reason. Because your mother conceived you when I was at my most evil. The evil courses through your veins it's quite a shame." Garmadon chuckled at the end
"I will never become you." I turned around sharply heading to the deck.
He had to be lying. I'm not an evil person I'm good I choose my own path. But the part about being conceived when he was most evil that's what scared me. I mean whoever my mother was she is insane for being with him.

"There is no room for error. The Serpentine have shown that they have great powers, and to combat them, you must turn their greatest strengths into their greatest weaknesses. Kai, how will you defeat the Hypnobrai?" Sensei asked carefully watching him
Kai pulls down a blindfold "Their hypnotizing powers are useless if their opponent can fight without relying on his eyes."
"Good, Jay, the Fangpyre is fast and his bite sharp."
"But if he can't bite through your skin." He taps the armor on his arm. "he can't turn you into one of them."
"Yes. Cole, the Constrictai are strong." Sensei Wu traps him in a net. "And they will not let go."
"But instead of fighting back, one must try to loosen up." He frees himself. "And a little soft shoe doesn't hurt."
"Zane, the venom of the Venomari can make you see things. Cloud your perception."
"Then I will use my new Falcon Vision." He activates said visionary ability to illustrate his point.
"Y/n if Pythor does come back you must know how to use the wind to your advantage feel his outline even when invisible."
I nodded pulling down a blindfold "find the outline of Kai." Sensei stated
That will be easy spikey hair I began using my true potential to find Kai's outline.
I sent a gust knocking him to the ground.
"Ow!" Kai groaned as I lifted up the blindfold
"Very good. I have trained you well. You are all ready." Sensei noted
"What about you, Sensei? Will you fight? We need all the help we can get." Kai said
"My concern is that my old bones cannot keep up, but I will be there in spirit." Sensei spoke
"We're arriving at the Mountain of a Million Steps. You all might want to see this." Nya called on the intercom
I looked over the edge of the ship to see a mound of dirt in a form of a snake mouth.
"It's not the most creative." I commented
"Wonder what those snakes are up to." Kai whispered slowly
"Wait for me." Lloyd ran down the steps
"This is not your fight. The Green Ninja is too important for a future destiny. You shall stay with me." Sensei patted his head
Nya arrives with her Samurai Mech "Well, he's gonna have to look after himself, because we made room for you." She points to a seat on her Mech.
"Well, you said you were concerned that you couldn't keep up, so Jay and Nya rejiggered the design so you could come along. Well, what do you think?" I question
"I think...shotgun! Haha!" Sensei replied jumping on the mech.
"I will stay back with Lloyd. I don't enjoy saying this but...good luck." Garmadon said again appearing right out of nowhere.
We all start climbing down the rope into the cave.
"I thought you said this place would be heavily guarded, Zane." I muttered I can't believe they made me go down here first.
"Forgive me. Even Nindroids make mistakes." Zane whispered as I landed to the ground followed by the rest.
Cole walks up to a wall with a carving of a ninja on it "Hey, check this out."
"Pfft. That doesn't even look like me." Jay groaned
"Don't they know that girl ninja exist too. I don't understand the point of a mustache." I responded hitting the mustache but the wall opens, revealing a secret passageway.
"Uh, I meant to do that." We go inside and enter the inner sanctum where the Generals are.
I find shelter behind a rock with the rest of the ninja listening intently to the conversation.
"So, what happens when the Great Devourer is unleashed? Will it really consume everything?" Fangtom asked
"I hope so, if only to teach the surface dwellers a lesson for locking us underground for so many years." Skalidor replied
The only reason they are underground is for their own actions. Besides that's our ancestors why do we always have to pay for there mistakes?
"Who knows if the legend is even true? I for one am curious to see what happens." Acidicus commented
I watched from behind the rock Skales appeared "Keep alert, Pythor should be back soon."
"There's too many to deal with at once. I say we travel by shadow." Kai whispered
I give a nod of understanding however my mind kept traveling to Lloyd and Garmadon. I'm worried if I was a villain in my enemies home I would do anything to get information.
"WOAH!" kai exclaimed tumbling head first down the stone steps
"All right, Operation Stealth was a total bust. We're gonna need reinforcements. Anyone there?" I push my earpiece to hear nothing. Come on dad where are you?
"Lloyd, can you hear me? Ugh, I'm not getting anything." Nya explained as a green snake ran up to me.
"Forget them. We need to fight back. Ninja, show them what you've learned." Sensei declared
I smirk sweeping the feet of the snake. Pythor wasn't here yet so my training isn't needed.
I worked my way to the middle along with the other ninja.
"Look, the Fangblades." I pointed nudging Cole
"I'll let you have the honors." He smiled bowing
"Oh, no. After you." I bowed and he ran towards it, but only to get his hand gets trapped "Aah! It's a trap!"
Metal bars clamp up all around us.
I watched as Pythor arrives with his scouting party and the last Fangblade in hand. "Come, come, can this get any better? Seriously, they fell right into my trap."
"Oh, this isn't good. Where's Lloyd when you need him?" Kai muttered as we were lifted up in the cage.

"Nya? Hello?" I could barley make out Lloyds voice on the mech
Nya fixes it by throwing a rock "We're fine, but we're a little held up at the moment. Our weapons have been taken, and we're locked in cages."
"And Pythor's returned with the fourth Fangblade." Cole added
"Lloyd, where did dad go?" I asked slowly unsure if I wanted an answer
"I-I told him to leave. He was trying to steal secrets." Lloyd confessed
I sighed sitting down leave it to him. He always finds a way to screw things up.
"Oh, big surprise there. I told you about that guy, but you guys wouldn't listen." Kai boasted
"My dad's going back to where he came from. But don't worry, I'll save you." Lloyd replied making me get up oh no way is he coming down here
"You're not ready, Lloyd. Your destiny is too great to risk." Sensei asserted
"Exactly Lloyd it's too dangerous." I responded
"I hate to break it to you, but if we don't get out of here before Pythor unleashes the Great Devourer, I think this will be the end of all our destinies." Cole commented but I heard no answer from Lloyd.
This kid will be the death of me.
"Together, we have taken back the four Fangblades. When we return them to the City of Ouroboros, together we will unleash the Great Devourer! To the City of Ouroboros!" Pythor finished his speech with cheers
"We spent so much time digging this underground fortress, it'd be a shame not to use it a little bit more." A serpentine called
"At least let us celebrate in capturing the ninja." Another reached out
"Then tonight, we celebrate with a Slither Pit!" Pythor exclaimed
I groaned sitting back on the ground as Cole and Jay played checkers. While Zane meditated with Sensei and Nya stared off into space.
"Ugh, so all we can do is just wait? This is killing me." Kai breathed out sitting next to me
"Patience. Lloyd will figure something out." Sensei comforted
"We're putting all of our trust into the son of the greatest villain Ninjago has ever seen. Uh, is anyone else having doubts about this plan? Just because we don't have our weapons doesn't mean we can't use our powers. We just need to focus." Kai said eyeing the game.
Now what is he thinking?
"The chamber was built out of Vengestone. Our Elemental Powers are rendered useless. Patience." Sensei replied sternly
Kai sighs and grabs a tube of hair oil from Jay and Cole's checker board.
"Hey, that hair oil was just about to be kinged." Jay protested
"Yeah? Well, I'm just about to get us out of here." He spreads hair oil on his gi.
"Whoa, greaseball. How about warning us before you do that?" Cole responded
"Unh, you can make jokes all you want, but I don't think we need our special powers to get out of here. Just a little ingenuity." He began trying to squeeze through the bars.
"Sure you don't need some for hair too?" I asked picking up the bottle innocently
"Ha ha ha." He remarked slipping through the whole bar
"He made it." Jay said amazed
"Look at that." Zane admired
"All right, slickster. But now what?" Cole questioned
"Now, we quietly do a little ball and chain." He climbs down a chain.
I began to run back and forth between the cage with the rest of the group
I could hear Kai swinging on the chains.
"It's working, keep going." Nya informed
"Come on, more speed." I called out
"Uh, uh, uh. Trying to escape, are we?" I hear Pythor's voice I stop running along with the others
"Heh. I bet this looks kind of bad, doesn't it, huh?" Kai says slowly making me facepalm

They put us back in the cage except this time are hands were handcuffed to the bars.

"Great, we're in such a better place than we were before." Cole remarked
"And now we can't even play checkers." Zane added
"Jay was gonna be kinged, Kai." I put in making Jay groan in frustration
"She's right! I was Kai!"
I began tapping my foot on the floor this is boring.
"Hey, look up there. It's Lloyd." Kai whispered making us all look to see him tripping down a bunch of rocks
He falls all the way down, making the Serpentine confused. "Well, if we don't meet again, Pythor. Unhand the ninja, or suffer humiliation against the Green Ninja!" Every single serpentine laughed at him.
"Oh, yeah? You and what army?" Python implored
"Uh, how about my army of fists?" He punches, but almost falls again causing another eruption of laughs.
"Or this army?" I hear... my dad yell.
I look to the stairs it was him! With the skeleton army?
"Dad!" Lloyd shouted
"Lloyd, you helped me realize I do have a choice. And if there is anyone who is going to threaten Ninjago, it better well be me." Garmadon declared
"The Skeleton army? But why would they fight beside you? You betrayed them and Samukai long ago." Pythor spoke out
"Because everybody hate snakes!" Kruncha informed making the skeleton army laugh
"Attack!" Both sides shouted
I could feel the cage moving down.
"Hey, we're moving." Jay grinned
"Yeah, the wrong way." I replied rolling my eyes looking to the green ooze under us
Just as we were about to meet our fate Lloyd pulled the lever causing the cage to pop open in time for us to reach safety.
"Told you I'd save you." Lloyd remarked handing me my bow and arrow
"I never doubted it." I responded and Lloyd gave a look of suspicion
"Okay maybe a little bit." I said drawing my bow out and hitting a serpentine in the distance
I could see Pythor facing my father I ran over to the two. "Going somewhere?"
"Oh, dear." Python sighs I take the Fangblades, but Pythor disappears.
"Where did he go?" Garmadon asked while I handed him the fangblades
"About to find out." I took my bow out shooting an arrow up at the ceiling a gust of wind flew the air allowing me to identify everyone.
"He's gone." I scanned the whole room no big serpentine
"Who cares? We have the Fangblades. Let's get out of here." Kai replied appearing next to me

Me and Lloyd walk into the room to see our father packing up.
"You're leaving?" I asked
"Now that you two are safe, and the ninja have the Fangblades, there is nothing else I am needed for."
"I need you." Lloyd sighed "I know you have to leave, but know this: when we meet again, I'm gonna do everything in my power to defeat you."
Garmadon pats Lloyd "I wouldn't have it any other way."
He opens the door. "You're good kids. Soon, you'll be great. Although we're now on opposite sides, I'm still very proud of you two."
I smiled looking to the ground and when I looked up he was gone. "So long, Dad." I whispered pulling Lloyd out of the room
I entered the bridge, everyone was celebrating their victory.
"He left, didn't he?" Nya asked
Me and Lloyd both nodded
"Then have some Snogfruit Punch. Cole made it, and it's actually not bad. To Lloyd and Y/n's dad!" Nya toasted
"Hear, hear!"
"Tomorrow, we arrive at Torchfire Mountain to destroy these Fangblades once and for all. And it couldn't have been done without your father. I'm going to miss him." Sensei Wu responded coming beside me
