(No One's Pov)
It's been about two years since the eternals came to earth and they all seemed to be getting quite acquainted with each other. Some of them seem to have formed some very good friendships with the people in there area. And they've actually have had them move further into the forest and start building colony. Although there was one in particular who didn't really have much of an opinion. An opinion on anything really, and that would be Blagdan. It's not that he doesn't like the humans or his teammates, actually it can be said that he doesn't like them either. You never know he doesn't voice opinion, the only time you ever see him is when the Eternals are fighting a deviant and he's needed. Other than that nothing, he doesn't try to socialize with the people, he doesn't do anything with his teammates. All he actually does is just sit on the beach looking at the ocean for any gaint Deviants. That was until I he felt someone was watching him, so he turned his head and saw Sersi trying to sneak up on him.
"Chuh?"- Blagdan
Sersi started to walk closer to him and Blagdan didn't really seem to mind all that much. Honestly he just went back to watching the ocean and felt Sersi sit next to him.
"Do you like the ocean?"- Sersi
"Chuh?"- Blagdan
"That. It's called the ocean. Can you not speak? Or do you just choose not to talk to people?"- Sersi
"Chuh."- Blagdan
All Blagdan can do was tilt his head to the side. Unlike the other Eternals he's not really all that sentient, well he is it's a bit different. He knows how to walk around and stuff like that, but other things like what they're called or what they're used for he doesn't know. All he knows is fighting the Deviants so it's not that he's dumb it's more so he was never thought.
"Hm, Ajak said your name is Blagdan. Maybe I should give you a new name."- Sersi
"Chuh?"- Blagdan
"How about I call you (y/n)? Can you say (y/n)?"- Sersi
"*Shacks head*"- Blagdan
"Try it. (Y) see how my mouth is moving? Try matching them. Oh wait."- Sersi
It finally took her about to realize he doesn't necessarily have a mouth, but that didn't stop him from actually trying.
"Chuuuh.....chaa....(y-y-yyy)."- Blagdan
"Oh! Um now try (n). (N)."- Sersi
"(Nnnn)?......(y/....n)."- Blagdan
"That's right! Your name is (y/n)."- Sersi
"Your....n-n-name.....(y/n)."- (y/n)
"Well work on that."- Sersi
Timeskip
Inside the ship one of the purple Eternals named Phastos was using his abilities to do his work. Phastos abilities allows him to generate cosmic energy and manipulate it to create imagines so he can make new inventions. With him was Druig and the youngest looking of the Eternals Sprite.
"So what exactly do we have on the board today?"- Druig
"Well these guys are still pretty primitive. So maybe we can get them something a little bit more advanced."- Phastos
"You know if we give them stuff like we have it'll just freak them out."- Sprite
"She's right, maybe we can try something simple like a spaceship."- Druig
"Very funny."- Phastos
"Sorry sorry. I know I'm late I'm sorry."- Sersi
"Your fine we're just uh.....um. *clears throat* Sersi."- Phastos
"What is it?"- Sersi
"You uh have a follower."- Phastos
Sersi turned around and saw what Phastos was talking about and saw Blagdan just standing in the door way. He wasn't really doing anything just standing there looking at all them an tilting his head. It's true the Blagdan has seen the other eternals, but, he's never been this close to any of them. He'd always just go to the beach and sit when he's done with the deviance he fights.
"Hello."- Druig
"H....he......hello."- (y/n)
"He....he talks?"- Sprite
"Yep, I've been teaching him some words."- Sersi
"I see. So you brought him here to our little group so he can learn didn't you?"- Druig
"I mean I don't... I don't know what we can teach him. We kinda have our own things going on here."- Phastos
"Well, he could watch us. I mean if he's able to learn. Then he can lean by watching."- Sersi
The three Eternals all looked at each other wondering what they should do. Honestly it wouldn't be bad to teach their gunmetal gray friend a thing or two. Although, considering how they see him fight other deviance in a savage way they couldn't help but think. Is it really a good idea to give a beast a conscience?
"What's going on in here? Why's Blagdan here?"- Ajaks
"Ask Sersi."- Sprite
"Well, you see I had the idea we teach him some things. I mean he is one of us."- Sersi
"Hm. What do you think about this Blagdan?"- Druig
"Chaa?"- (y/n)
"What're you doing?"- Sersi
"If he's going to be learning. I feel as if he should actually want to learn instead of us trying to force it on to him. Wouldn't you agree?"- Druig
"That's a good point. Blagdan, what do you want to do?"- Ajak
"Chaa........"- (y/n)
This was a serious question, and a difficult one. For him in particular that is, he doesn't really get what's going on all he can get was that they we're talking about him and stuff. So in response all he did was nod his head and agreed.
Timeskip 11 months
Ever since that day (y/n)'s been able to learn a lot of different things. Right from wrong, how to think for himself, pretty much all the things a normal person should know. Although there is one problem, he's a very slow learner so he hasn't learned that much. It's not that he was done before it's just that he was never taught so it's kind of like teaching a grown man how to read. Today (y/n) was just sitting on the beach like he normally does, but this time he had a stick and was writing stuff in the sand.
"Enjoying yourself I see."- ???
(Y/n) looks behind him and sees the eternal known as Druig and with him was his fellow eternal Makkari.
"*Sign language* Hello there. Glad to see your having fun with your studies."- Makkari
"She says she's happy to see your enjoying yourself."- Druig
"Yes....... it's......fun."- (y/n)
"They said it was my turn to try to teach you something new today. But I feel like I have nothing else to teach you. Which is why I brought Makkari with me. I feel like you two would have much to talk about."- Druig
"Cha."- (y/n)
"*Sign language* So how would you like about trading goods and valuables?"- Makkari
"I......chaaaaa."- (y/n)
Not really knowing what sign language is (y/n) try to do the same thing she did. Which obviously meant he only copied exactly what she said. And doing this this actually got to laugh out of both Makkari and Druig.
"While we're at it I'll teach you sign language first."- Druig
