{~Day 53~}
In a land of Ever After.
In here there was a place, a school that raises many Fairytale characters into who are they meant to be, a place where they nurture future destined ones.
A place called.
Ever After High!
This place was a well known school throughout the the Fairytale land, it was also near the enchanted forest where things were.... well enchanted!
But back to the school, Two girls were seen walking out of the entrance.
Both having a conversation and we'll one of them is leading it.
One had a dark purple colored Goth themed clothing with black wavy hair with purple streaks and the other girl had three colored curly hair.
Raven Queen, Daughter of the Evil Queen from Snow White.
Madeline Hatter, Daughter of the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland.
These two were best friends with each other!
As they were walking, they ended up in the Village of Book End.
A village near Ever After High.
Currently Raven saw that the residents of the village were gossiping about something on the Mirrornet, something about monsters and stuff but she couldn't quite hear it well.
Raven: Hey Maddie... do you they're talking about?
She asked her friend by her nickname.
Maddie: Oh! That they must be talking about the Heartless!
Raven: Heartless?
Maddie: Yup! It's what they're calling those creepy crawling creatures of the shadow! Apparently, people heard someone calling them that and it kinda grew on it!
Raven: Okay.. But why's everyone looking happy talking about it? I mean aren't those things dangerous?
Maddie: Oh they really are dangerous! But people are talking about a Mysterious hooded person taking hordes of them down like it was nothing! I mean can you believe that!?
Raven: Wait really?
Maddie: Yup! There has been many stories going around of this guy fighting those evil creatures! Having a mighty sword in hand that seems to vanquish those Heartless in a single slash!
Raven: Is that really true?
Maddie: Well at least that's what they say! But although people aren't sure of the Mysterious person, some calls him a Hero while others a Villain.
Raven: Why a villain?
Maddie: Well because of his appearance, he wears some Black clothes and wields a black sword and that alone makes people thinks he's a Villain and says he might be the one bringing the Heartless in but that's just rumors being rumors!
Raven: I-I see...
Maddie: But boy those Heartless have been appearing a lot lately huh? It's only been like what, almost 3 months already since they appeared!
Raven: Yeah but luckily we had heroes and mages taking care of them.
Maddie: Yeah but people believe that the Heartless is part of a story, most likely the person taking them down.
Raven: I see, but at least there are no Heartless here right?
Maddie just nodded as both continued walking.
But little did they know, they just jinxed it.

In another forest of the Ever After land.
A certain Nobody was seen crouching on a tree branch a few yards away was a group of Heartless.
Heartless: Sergeants & Soldiers
This group of armored Heartless were marching forward heading towards a village but luckily Roxas was in the area.
Holding Oblivion in hand, Roxas was about to drop down on them but...
*Ring~!!*
Roxas: !?
Roxas was startled as well as the Heartless and all of them started running arond making him groan.
He quickly drops down and took chase after them, he went over his coat and brought out whatever was making that ringtone as he looks to see it was his Mirrorphone!
He fumbled the Mirror on his hand as he keeps chasing the Heartless and by chance he got hold of it, he accidentally answered whoever was calling.
???: Oh Roxas! Finally you've answered your Mirror! It's not nice to keep a lady waiting especially when she's a Queen!
Roxas: Eugh! I'm in the middle of something here!
Roxas jumps, landing in front of the Heartless as they all stop and seeing no other way they started attacking.
Roxas slashes a few of them before jumping to dodge as the woman in the mirror saw his predicament.
???: Oh my, it seems I called at a bad time?
Roxas: Ya think?!
Roxas blocks some punches from a Sergeant with Oblivion before slashing away, sending it crashing to the other Heartless'
???: But well it seems, you can handle them, so how are you doing?
Roxas: Really? You're asking that while I'm fighting?
He slashes another Heartless down, killing it and releasing it's Heart.
???: Hehe of course!
Roxas rolled his eyes as then he leans his head to the right to dodge a punch before firing a Firaga spell at them.
Roxas: What do you think?!
Suddenly, the Heartless all jump at him seeing he was distracted but they were proven wrong as he threw his Mirrorphone in the air making the woman gasps a bit as she saw Roxas spins around with Oblivion in a circular slice, poofing them all, as Hearts came out of them before he caught the Mirror.
Roxas: Alright, now I'm done with them, what do you want Ms. Snow White?
Yes, as Roxas said to the mirror, the woman calling was the Fairytale character Snow White!
How Roxas knows her? Well it's another story for another time.
Snow White: Well I was just calling to check in on you, wouldn't want to forget in calling my favorite Knight~!
Roxas: For the last time, I'm not a Knight!
Snow White: Oh silly boy, of course you are! You have swords don't you? You have the necessities of being a Knight. Brave, courageous, fearless and might I add quite dashingly cute, and a gentleman~ So of course you're a Knight! You're only missing your armor.
Roxas: This Queen...
Roxas pinches the bridge of his nose, looking annoyed as he sighs.
Snow White: Anyway, that aside, I'm calling for I need to ask a favor from you.
Roxas: A favor?
Snow White: Yes! You see I was wondering if you could do me a favor of being my Daughter's knight, her bodyguard.
Roxas look at her bewildered.
Roxas: What!? What kind of favor is that!?
Snow White: Now now Roxas, no need for shouting, just please help this poor Queen out.
She gives him some puppy dog eyes.
Roxas: 💢 Oh don't give me that look! Besides if I do that then how am I supposed to work in taking care of the Heartless!?
Snow White: Well you still could do that, but thanks to your help, I have Knights properly trained to deal with them.
Roxas: That may be true but did you forget that Heartless can't die normally by normal weapons or even magic of this world, only Keyblades can fully kill them all and free their corrupted hearts, and I'm the only one here who wields one!
Snow White: I know I know, but please help me out Roxas, I've received reports of those Heartless being quite active near Ever After High and my sweet Daughter has just started her next year here!
Roxas: But-
Snow White: Plus, Legacy day is near and it's very important for my daughter! I don't want anything to ruin it!
Roxas hearing this couldn't help but contemplate about it.
The past few days, he's been fighting less Heartless than it is before but hearing a report of Heartless being more active near a school called Ever After High, that's a bit concerning, especially when Roxas know that Ever After High is a school full of childrens of famous Fairytale characters.
Having students of Royalty and such as there was also children of Fairytale Villains!
After thinking hard for a minute, Roxas complied.
Roxas: Grr alright I'll do it!
Snow White: Hexcellent! I already took care of your enrollment and talk to the Headmaster of your job.
Roxas: Wait enrollment!? Please tell me you didn't do what I think you did?
Snow White: Of course I did! I mean that way, you can watch over my daughter closely by being Student!
Roxas: Seriously!? Oh come on!
Snow White: Well worry not my dear, I asked Headmaster Grimm to give you some special privileges when it comes to Heartless emergencies so no need to worry of skipping classes.
Roxas: That's not the point!
Snow White: Well the preparations already done and I already told my Daughter about you! So try to arrive their soon, wouldn't want to keep a Princess waiting~ Now I gotta go now, duty calls~ It was nice chatting with you Roxas!
Roxas: Hey wait!
The call had already ended making Roxas sigh.
Roxas: What a troublesome woman..
Pocketing his Mirrorphone, Roxas started walking as then a black portal opens in front of him?
The Corridor of Darkness.
Roxas couldn't believe that he can still use it, but to his shock, it only works in this world's realms.
He tried using it to go back home but all he got instead was dead ends and being thrown out of the portal.
Now as Roxas went through and exited on the other side, he was met with a wonderous sight.
Roxas: Ever After High huh... this better be worth it, from what I can remember from bits of Sora's memories, going to school is the worst.

Now walking on the streets of the Village of Book End.
A beautiful blonde girl with pale skin in a dress of seemingly apple themed was seen walking alongside another girl who's hair was brown with glasses on her head in a dress of rose flower themed.
Apple White, Daughter of Snow White.
Briar Beauty, Daughter of Sleeping Beauty.
Briar: Hey Apple, have you heard?
Apple: About what?
Briar: Rumors has it, were getting a new student in class and they say he's a Knight!
Apple: A Knight? Ooh that sounds a page ripper! Could it be the one my Mom told me about?
Briar: Whoa what do you mean?
Apple: Well last night my Mom called and she told me about getting me a Bodyguard.
Briar: Eh? What do you need a Bodyguard for?
She asked shocked.
Apple: Well Mom said that it's getting more dangerous outside in Ever After High because of those monsters that keeps coming out!
Briar: You mean the Heartless?
Apple: Heartless?
Briar: Yeh that's what everyone's calling them now, see.
She shows her a Blog on her Mirrorphone as Apple looks at it and nods.
Apple: Heartless huh! Actually it has a dark and nice sound to it!
Briar: I'll say, come on! Ashlyn is waiting for us and we don't want to keep her waiting~!
As they kept walking, a certain Nobody just walked past them as all continue on their way.
Roxas looks around the place, a bit in awe of how lively this village was compared to the other villages he went to.
He have heard stories of this place though, of how famous it is for having to be near Ever After High, along with all the shops that can be found in here.
Villager: Look out!! Runaway cart!!!
Many people heard the shouting as some had jump away to dodge the said runaway cart full of.. cabbages?
As it went barreling down on the streets, it builds up more speed as it goes on but some didn't hear the cry of warning.
Apple White did hear it though and she immediately moved away but she went wide eyed seeing the danger close to her friend who was unaware.
Apple: Briar!! Look out!!
She shouted out to her friend in complete worry as Briar immediately looks behind and looks in horror about to get hit by the runaway cart only for someone to come and grabs her out of the way as well as breaking the cart's wheel making it go tumbling down on the ground,.
Many gasps and sighs in relief for Briar being saved.
Cabbage Man: My cabbages!!
Ignoring him. Briar slowly opens her eyes and her eyes couldn't help but go wide as she was in the arms of someone.
Roxas: Are you alright?
Roxas looks at the girl he just saved in his arms, now staring at him wide eyed.
Briar was now staring at the most brightest and beautiful blue eyes she has ever seen and she could see small bits of Roxas blonde hair underneath that hood as slowly she nodded at his question.
Roxas: Good, try to pay attention to your surroundings will you? Wouldn't want you getting hurt now would we?
Briar could only nod again as with that, Roxas puts her down on her legs before he walks away.
Roxas: Take care.
He nonchalantly waves as she slowly waves back.
Apple: Briar are you okay!?
Briar: Y-Yeah, I'm fine no worries.
Apple: Oh thank Fairy Godmother that guy saved you!
Briar: Y-Yeah.. He saved me....
Apple: Briar?
Apple looks at Briar to see her still staring daze at Roxas back before he was out of her sight.
.....
Male Narrator: Well that was something right?
Female Narrator: Indeed, it looks like we have our first candidate for Roxas already~
Male Narrator: Are you sure about that?
Female Narrator: Of course! I know a girl in love when I see one and Briar is one!
Male Narrator: Really for all we know, it's admiration!
Female Narrator: Oh you dumb dumb oaf.
Male Narrator: Hey who you calling an oaf!
Female Narrator: Whatever till next time!
Male Narrator: We're not done here!
Female Narrator: Oh yes we are!
Male Narrator: No we are not!!
Female Narrator: Yes it is!
Male Narrator: No it's not!
Female Narrator: Yes it is!
Male Narrator: Nuh uh!
...
Ignoring the bickering narrator's, it looks like things are about to get interesting... maybe, I don't know..
