Cali POV
Klaus, Me and Stefan are inside of a clothing store, I was sitting in between Klaus and Stefan. Klaus and Stefan were drinking champagne, while Rebekah tried on clothes. I on the other hand was drinking a juice box as I swung my feet back and forth
"There has to be more to this dress." Rebekah said
"There's not." Klaus said
[She gets out of the fitting room. She is wearing a short, black dress.]
"So women in the 21st century dress like prostitutes, then. You know, I got dirty looks for wearing trousers." Rebekah said
"You wore trousers so women today could wear nothing." Klaus said
I tilted my head.
"What's a prostitute?" I asked
"Nothing!" Both Rebekah and Klaus said
"And what is this music? It sounds like a cable car accident." Rebekah asked
"It's dance music." Stefan said
"People dance to this?" Rebekah said
" Hmm." Stefan said
"Are we done?" Klaus said "
And why are you so grumpy?" Rebekah said
"I needed one thing from you for my witch to find out why my hybrids are dying, one thing. Your necklace. And you lost it." Klaus said not sounding happy
"I didn't lose it. It's just been missing for 90 years." Rebekah said
[She looks at Stefan.]
"So what do you think?" Rebekah said
"I like it." Stefan said
[She doesn't seem satisfied.]
"What? I said I like it." Stefan said
" I can always tell when you're lying, Stefan." Rebekah said
[She goes back into the fitting room. Klaus looks at Stefan.]
"Nice one. Good work." Klaus said
"You're the one that pulled the out of her." Stefan mumbled
"I heard that." Rebekah said
" All right. I'm going to get some fresh air." Stefan said
"Well I think she looks very pretty." I said
"Aww thank you doll." Rebekah said
"Your still young." Klaus said playing with the ends of my hair
Klaus pours himself more of his drink.
Suddenly a very familiar smell hit my nose. I closed my eyes inhaling the scent. as my head turned in the direction where Stefan left.
I know that smell...
Where was it??
"What's she doing?" I hear Rebekah.
"What's the matter little Minx?" I hear Klaus.
I open my eyes and feel my eyes glow.
"You don't smell that?" I said
He shook his head.
"Oh my God Nik is she?-" Rebekah said
Klaus nodded.
"But keep it a secret, little Minx here is very rare." Klaus said playing with my hair.
"I know that! " Rebekah said
"What do you smell?" Klaus said
"I don't know, It just smells so familiar..." I said looking at Klaus worried.
"I'm sure it's nothing little minx.." He said smiling at me.
Later we went back to Gloria's bar
Gloria is sitting at a table, her hands floating above a large tome on a table filled with candles. Klaus and Rebekah are at the bar.]
We see Stefan walk in. He has that smell all over him. I tilted my head as I looked at him. He looked at me then looked away.
"You left us." Rebekah said
"Yeah, sorry. Retail therapy was making my head explode." Stefan said
"Tell me about it." Klaus said
[Stefan looks at Gloria.]
"What's she doing?" Stefan asked " She's failing." Klaus said "It's hard to find something when you don't have anything to go on." Gloria said "So use me. I only wore it for a thousand years." Rebekah said "See? Now this one offers a solution." Gloria said
[Rebekah sits on the table.]
"All right, give me your hand, sweetheart." Gloria said
[Rebekah gives her her hand.]
"She's, uh, she's looking for the necklace, huh?" Stefan said
I looked at Stefan he looked nervous.
[Gloria drops Rebekah's hand and looks at Klaus and Stefan.]
"I found it." Gloria said
"So where is it?" Rebekah said
" It doesn't work like that, doll. I get images. There's a girl with her friends..." Gloria said
"Yes, a dead girl with dead friends, if I don't get my necklace back." Rebekah said
"Well, I'll have to dive back in to get the details." Gloria said
"So dive." Klaus said
"I need more time." Gloria said
[Klaus walks over and leans on the table Gloria is seated at.]
"And space. You're harshing my ju-ju." Gloria said
"We can wait." Klaus said
"I'm sure you can. But that's not what I asked." Gloria said
"Hey. Hey, you know, why don't we just come back later. I'm hungry anyway. I'll let you pick who we eat." Stefan said
[Stefan starts making for the door and looks back at them. Klaus looks at Rebekah and they leave with Stefan.]
Klaus looks back at me.
"Come on Cali.." He said holding out his hand
I jumped off the stool rushing over to him and taking his hand as we left the bar.
I had to wait outside of the warehouse because Klaus said I wouldn't like what I would see.
I just shrugged
I looked up at the sky and closed my eyes
When the man with dark hair and green eyes flashed before me.
my eyes shot open. my breathing became shallow. I shook my head.
Klaus walked out.
"Come on Cali, lets go check on Gloria." Klaus said
I nodded taking his hand.
As we walked I decided to ask Klaus something.
"Klaus..." I said
He looked down at me.
"What is it?" He asked
"Do you think Stefan is hiding something?' I asked
"He's with us. I don't think he's that stupid... why do you ask?" He said
"That smell from earlier it was all over him.. something feels off I can sense it.." I said
"Cali your a young Coyote pup. your just coming into your senses I'm sure they are just overwhelming you little Minx." He said smiling down at me.
I nodded
We walked into the bar and see that it was empty. Klaus did not look happy
"We need to get back." Klaus said
I nodded
We walked back into the warehouse and see Stefan freeze.
"Gloria's gone. She's cleared out. We need to find a new witch immediately." Klaus said letting go of my hand
[He stops and looks at them.]
" What's going on?" Klaus said
"Something's wrong. He was asking about Michael. He's not with us, Nik. I can sense it." Rebekah said
"She's wrong. Klaus..." Stefan said
[Klaus rushes over to him.snapping his neck.]
Third Person POV
[Stefan wakes up with a start inside the back of a truck filled with the coffins. Klaus is looking at him.]
"Just give me a chance to explain myself, okay?" Stefan said
" No need. I'm not mad, I'm just curious. Rebekah seems to think you're holding onto something. A piece of your old life. The thing is, she's got flawless instincts, borderline supernatural. And Cali seemed to believe you were up to something. Now Cali may just be a child. but her kind have incredible instincts as well. So I thought I would check it out. See for myself what it is you've been hiding." Klaus said
[He opens the back of the truck. They're in Mystic Falls.]
" Welcome back to Mystic Falls, Stefan." Klaus said
