I woke up to the sound of screaming and yelling, which is nothing new to this house. I slowly rise from my bed and head to my bathroom to wash up after I head to my closet, I grab black sweatpants, a plain white shirt, and some white sneakers; I turn and grab a gray sweat shirt and my mask and head down stairs.
When I got down stairs I saw my dad screaming in my drunk mom's face, I pay no attention to it and walk out the door. It's been quiet since Komori's gone, I would never say it to his face, not like I could but I miss him telling me about his dream from the night before, but there's nothing I can do.
I reach the schools gates and look up sighing and the sight of what I call hell, I thought about turning around and skipping but I knew I would hear the end of it from my dad so I went in and headed to my first class with my headphones in listening to Afraid by The Neighborhood. As I take a seat I see someone coming towards me, I roll my eyes knowing who it is,
"Well look who we have here!"
Soya said with a shit eating grin, lean on my desk with his hand
"What do you want Soya?"
"Just wanted to try something"
Soya then spat on his hand and rubbed it in my hair, I freeze; I'm not germaphobic or anything I just like being clean and not sick, I quickly slap his hand of my head and run to the bathroom I hear Soya's laughter as I start panicking while racing to the bathroom.
I shack my head as it drips water, sighing tiredly, I start thinking about how my cousin would have comforted me,
"Motoya... I miss you.." .
