TW : MENTIONS OF NOT WANTING TOO EAT (i am not going to add the same tw emoji things i did last time because everything is sort of spurts out, i'm so sorry) a quick summary of all the non tw things will be at the bottom :)
"have you eaten today?" mark asked spinning ever so slightly in vals gaming chair while some random movie played quietly on the tv
she was sitting crisscrossed on her bed, head resting on the palm of her hand, with wondering what the fuck is going on in the movie.
"yes..." she said not making eye contact
he stayed silent, only slightly tilting his head at her
"no" she said with a sigh sounding dissapointed in herself
he stayed silent for a bit, trying to decide the right thing to say "do you want too?" he finally spoke up
"not really, but i know i need to"
he sighed deeply getting out of the chair and plopping down next to her on the bed
"what do you want?" he asked taking out his phone and scrolling on uber eats
"i don't know, something not greasy" she said sinking under her covers
"well...we can have chipotle, uhh panera...oh! chinese?" he started listing options getting excited about the last one
she groaned, covering her face with her blankets once again "you chose"
she turned around, now facing away from him and getting into position to take yet another nap
"chinese it is" he said, one hand placing his end of the order and the other rubbing the shorter girls back.
"what do you want?" mark asked regarding the food
"uhh i don't care just get me what ever you got yourself" she said not being able to even think of a food she would truly enjoy.
he put his phone down, still massaging the girls back, watching the playing movie
"this movie sucks" val said mumbled in her covers
"it does"
they both chuckled before valory sat up and took the remote
"what should we watch" valory debated to herself before gasping loudly
"we're watching the notebook no questions or opinions allowed" she said laying back down
mark chuckled at her excitement and didn't dare to say anything, refusing to ruin the joy she was radiating.

"hey" she whispered into his ear trying to get his attention off of the movie
"what's up" he turned to look at her
"i got a question" she was stalling, rethinking wether or not to ask the questions
"go on"
"wanna do a facemask with me"
he raised his eyebrows "would it make you happier?" he asked
she nodded her head yes frantically as an answer
"ok then" she jumped up from the bed and ran into her bathroom, getting a tube of a clay mask and two make-up brushes to apply it with as well as two headbands one for him and one for her
she ran back, jumping on the bed with her legs crisscrossing in the air landing next to mark. she scooched even closer now sitting almost face to face with him, only inches apart.

both of the teenagers were back cuddling, the facemasks still in there face.
"what i would do to watch the notebook again, just to experience it again" val spoke softly
"yeah this is pretty great" he said nonchalantly making the two snicker a laugh.
a ding went of.
mark opened his phone to see that his order was here
"i'll be back" he said as he stood up and went downstairs to get the door
"hello" he said as he opened the door
"hello, order for mark?" the delivery man said
"yep" he answered taking the bags from the mans hands
then it hit him, the reason the man was staring at his face
"oh! my friend asked me to do a face mask with her" he rambled on quickly "not that there's any shame in men taking care of there skin-"
"hey dude relax, i know who lives here..hmm i'ma guess the girl with the long black hair and septum piercing?" he asked
"yeah!" he chuckled "how did you know?"
"i don't know you just seem like a good match"
"oh no we're not-"
"bye dude! happy girlfriend happy life!" he yelled walking of, mark just gave up on trying to explain it
he went back upstairs
"welp the delivery man thinks we're dating" he said jokingly propping the bag of food down
valory laughed confused
"what happened?"
"this" he said pointing to the face mask drying on his face
valory exploded into laughter while mark just looked dissapointed
"let's just eat" he said sitting down a smile back on his face.
"wait we have to find something to watch first" she said scrolling over disney plus because the notebook had come to an end
"what you don't enjoy my company"
"no! i like you're company it's just nice to have a distraction, so that i'm not really focused on what i'm doing"
she said before going back to scrolling
"have you seen hawkeye, i keep wanting to watch it"
"no i haven't" mark answered before they both gave eachother a look of agreement.
one of the six episodes started playing as they unboxed there food.

mark had finished eating while valory was still sat picking at her food. the fork picking up and then dropping the noodles again and again.
as he got closer he saw the tears welling in her eyes.
"hey what's wrong" he said sitting down next to her
"i don't want it" she said wiping the falling tear away
"you don't have to if you really don't want to" he said comfortingly
"really?" she looked at him surprised, everyone she's ever opened up to about this had pushed her into eating not realizing that sometimes that made it worse
"yeah, you've had some so you're stomach is not completely empty and you can have the rest later" he smiled at her, her heart overwhelming by the love and care she's receiving from the person she feels so close to.
summary :
mark orders food for the both of them. While they're waiting for it valory suggests doing facemasks to which he replied "would it make you happier?" the answer obviously being yes they did the face masks. (also they watched the notebook but that's less important). the food arrived and mark went to grab it
convo between him and the delivery guy :

sorry this took so long to write it's a topic quite close to me so i had to take some time to rethink and make sure i'm writing it correctly and not just projecting my own issues.
anyways this sort of tw bit of the chapters is over we're gonna go back to cute wholesome moments. i also saw a comment about when are they getting together and if i'm able to bam out chapter while i'm in isolation it should be soon.
also i'm in isolation (duh) bc my sister got covid :/ so yeah tough month but we're getting back on track 😼
