As the school doors closed behind them mark and valory traveled to the schools yard, making there way towards the big oak tree.
mark was walking normally while valory was walking in a gitty way.
both of them had smiles on there faces talking about the stream that they did yesterday.
"it was so fun" valory said balancing on the stuck out of the ground roots of the tree as they got closer to it
"it was so sick, and chat really liked it too" he said reaching a hand out to her for support as she stumbled
"ah yes the ranbooers" she said and laughed
the laughter made her stumble once again, making her let out a yelp and then grabbing on to marks' hand
"you ok?" he said after helping her regain her balance
"we're not going to talk about how i was scared to fall five centimeters to the ground" she said looking down smiling
he laughed loudly before guiding her to sit down on the floor
he also sat down soon after and they continued talking about different things and plans for the future.
mark's hand was over valory's shoulder while she was sort of laying her back on his shoulder.
"so how long did you sleep for?" mark asked looking at the girl near his shoulder
"uhhh i remember still drawing at 6 so like 6:10 i think, something around that" she said gesturing with her hand as if without it, the sentence wouldn't have made sense
"so you slept for like 20 minutes?" he said sounding shocked "how are you alive?" he said his voice going higher and his tone laced with more shock.
"i had an iced coffee before school, but the crash is coming" she paused "i can feel it" she said dramatically making mark laugh.
they chatted some more before mark saw that the girl was cold
"oh" he took of his sweater "here" he said and handed the girl his hoodie
she looked at him with a confused look on her face
"you look cold" he said smiling
val grabbed the sweater "thank you" she smiled at him and put the hoodie on laying her back against him once again
he laughed and put the hood up over her eyes
she screamed, not expecting that and looked back at him in shock
"it looks massive on you" he said smiling
"well yea- because you're like tall- and it's uh- body mass- length" she sputtered out
"no you're just short"
"uh excuse you sir" she said fake offended
"i am the average height! five foot six and about .90" she said her hand on her chest
