Its been a few weeks since I started to talk to her. It's been nice talking to Lizzie again, there's just one thing I don't know how to tell her. After going for a run I walked through my door to see my fiancé, funny enough shes a little older than me. But i couldn't be with anyone better.
"Hey Y/N/N. How was your run?" She asked as she handed me a bottle of water.
"It was nice. I'm just nervous about some things." I told her honestly. I walked into the living room to find our little boy Jacob in his playpen. He was playing with his toys. Well more like eating them.
"Like what?" She asked as she wrapped her arms around me as she rested her head on my shoulder.
"I haven't really told her about you guys. I want to but every time I chicken out." I said as I looked down at her.
"I uh, I'm sure you will find the right words to say to her." She said as she beamed up at me. I pressed a kiss to her lips before I went and showered. I was thinking everything over, being the typical overthinker I am. I just couldn't help it. I was going back on tour in two months and I have yet to tell lizzie that there isn't really a chance for us. Oh god my life is so messed up right now.
Once I was downstairs I saw my fiancé sat feeding Jacob his dinner. I was ready for my dinner with Mama J.
"I'm gonna head out OK?" I told her as I kissed hers and Jacobs heads.
"Where are you going again?" She asked with a furrowed brow
"Just to Mama Js for dinner. She wanted to see me before I leave to go on tour." I told her softly while she just hummed. This isn't going to be good when i come home. "I'll see you later. I love you." I said as I went to kiss her but she turned away and I caught her cheek. I just shrugged my shoulders and walked out to my bike. Yes I still have it after all these years. Once I pulled up and knocked she pulled me in for a warm hug before she let me in. I saw Lizzie in the living room before I followed Mama J into the kitchen.
"So how's Jacob and Claire?" She asked me softly as she made me some coffee.
"They're both really good. I'm just really gonna miss them when I leave." I told her as she handed me a cup.
"Does she know?" She whispered as she nodded towards the living room.
"No, I haven't really told her yet. I want to but I just keep chickening out." I whispered back.
"You need to tell her before it hurts her more." She said with a sad smile. I know I have to tell her sooner or later.
"Need to tell who what?" We both froze as we heard her.
"Well that's your cue." Mama J said as she left patting my shoulder.
"Well thanks alot for throwing me under the bus." I shouted back at her.
"You're welcome." She shouted back with a laugh.
"Well what?" Lizzie asked as she sat down at the island. I just looked at her unable to talk. "Were friends Y/N. You can tell me anything?"
"I uh I don't know how to say this but imengaged." I said rather fast at the end.
"What was that?" She said quietly.
"I'm engaged." I said as I looked away from the clear hurt in her eyes.
"Yeah I uh I got that. I just needed to hear it properly." She said quietly. "How long?"
"We've been together for 3 years. We have a son together." I said quietly. "He's 1 and a half."
"I'm happy for you." She said as I could see her eyes start to gloss over.
"I'm sorry Lizzie." I said softly.
"So what have we been doing with the dinner and movie dates?" She asked with a frustrated tone as she stood up.
"We've been getting to know each other as new people Liz. You broke my heart and I finally moved on." I told her sternly. "I can't just give you my heart again when I don't trust you. You broke that trust."
"Well you should have told me about her sooner." She said as she raised her voice.
"I wanted to but I didn't know how. Every single time we hung out I wanted to but I got scared. So I told you now." I matched her volume. "I needed you and where were you, yeah you started going out with some guy without even telling me we were over. You told me we could make it work, but you were the one who quit on us. You practically cheated on me."
I watched as she just went quiet and walked out. I watched as Mama J came in with an apologetic look.
"I'm sorry about that." I told her softly with a sigh.
"It's OK. It was bound to happen." She said with a soft smile.
"No it shouldn't have. Its your home. Its disrespectful." I told her as she shook her head. "I'm gonna head home." I said as I gave her a quick hug. I drove home and when I walked in I was greeted by an unhappy Claire.
"You're back early." She stated without looking at me.
"Please can we not argue. I'm not in the mood." I told her softly.
"Why is that Y/N?" She said as she stood up.
"Because I have had a shitty night and all I want is to cuddle my beautiful fiancé and watch movies while we eat junk food." I told her softly as I wrapped my arms around her waist.
"No, you don't get to do this." She said as she pushed me away. "Was she there?" She asked.
"Yes she was and I told her about you and Jacob and us. And we had an argument in her mother's home." I told her as I waved my hands around.
"What did she say?" She asked me.
"She practically wants me back but I told her she broke me and I'm not going back to her because I have you and Jacob." I told her softly.
"Why not? She's an actress and I'm just a teacher. A nobody." She shouted.
"Because I don't care about what your status is or how much money you earn. I just care about the person you are to the people you love and care about." I told her honestly. "I love you."
"I love you too." She said as she gave me a soft kiss and snuggled into my chest.
Lizzies pov
I was heartbroken when she told me about her little family. I guess I overreacted about it. No wait I know I did but it still hurt. Why couldn't she have told me before hand and I wouldn't have had hope about us again.

"How have you been baby?" She asked me softly as we were waiting for our drinks.
"I'm OK I guess." I said avoiding eye contact as I looked at the menu. Lucky the waiter came back to take our orders before she could reply.
"Come on. Talk to me." She said as she leant forward.
"I just. I don't know what I'm doing. She hasn't spoke to me in months mum. Not even a text and I've not seen her around either." I sighed.
"Well she's back on tour baby and she's not back for another few months." She said softly as I looked at her in disbelief.
"When did she go?" I asked quietly.
"Two months after you're argument." She said which made me feel bad because she probably thinks I hate her.
"Why didn't you tell me that she was getting married or had a baby?" I asked her hurt that she kept that from me.
"It wasn't my place to say." She said as our food came. We both ate in silence before continuing our conversation.
"I just want her back mum. I miss her." I whispered sadly.
"I know baby girl but you put her through a lot and it took her a lot more to get over you and move on. You can't just come back and expect her to come running back into your arms." She said sternly. I know she hates what I did to Y/N. She hated the person I become.
The next few months I threw myself into work. I just couldn't get over her, I wanted to be with her but I just couldn't.
Y/N pov
I finally walked through my front door after getting out of the taxi. I couldn't wait to see my fiancé and Jacob. They were the two most important people in my life. Once I walked into our shared room I was met by Claire packing her bags.
"Where are you going?" I asked her softly.
"Oh good you're back. Were leaving." She said as she zipped her bag.
"Where are we going?" I asked her quietly.
"No not we, me and Jacob. I can't do this anymore." She said sadly.
"What do you mean?" I asked her.
"When are we going to set a date or even get married because I am getting the feeling that you don't want to." She said angrily.
"I don't understand where this is coming from." I stated as I sat on the bed.
"I'm tired of waiting for you to pick a date. It's like you don't want to be in this." She shouted.
"You know I can't really help my job. I've worked my ass off to get where I am. Yeah I understand that you hate my job but I love it." I shouted back. "I understand you wanting to set a date but it's hard at the moment. I could get called up at anytime before my leave is over. Its a hard job."
"You know what, we're done. I'm taking Jacob with me." She said as she took off her ring and slammed it to my chest and walking out of the room with her bags.
"You can't take my son away from me." I shouted as I followed her to her car.
"I can and I am. I know you're still in love with her and I was just a distraction." She said as she slammed the car door shut.
"You never were a distraction to me. I love you Claire, why is that so hard to believe." I shouted at her.
"Because I know that ever since she came back, you've been different." She shouted as she got in the car.
"Well you should expect a call from my lawyer. You are not keeping him from me." I said through her window.
"You don't stand a chance. You're unstable and your job is unstable." She said as she drove off. I just stood in my drive in shock. I come home and I've lost everything again. I had no one to talk to.
It had been a few weeks since I came home and Claire left with Jacob. I've spent most of my time either drinking or well drinking. So i found myself sat in a bar drinking shot after shot.
Lizzie pov
My sisters dragged me out of the house after a few weeks. I really didn't want to go out but they decided I needed to get out. So we ended up sat in a booth at a bar.
"So how's the business going?" I asked them as I played with the straw in my drink. They started telling me everything about it but I was honestly in my own world.
"Hey is that Y/N over there?" Ashley asked as she pointed towards the bar.
"Yeah I guess it is." I said as i slumped back in my seat as we watched MK get up and approach her
"What is she doing?" Ashley asked me as we watched them.
"I don't know but she doesn't really look happy." I said as I saw MK with an angry expression on her face. We both watched as they both walked over. I moved over as she sat Y/N next to me. "Are you OK?" I asked Y/N softly while she gave me a sad smile before downing her drink and stumbling to get another.
"How much has she drank?" Ashley asked as we both looked at MK for an answer.
"I guess she's drank a good load with how she is." MK said as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Should we stop her." I asked them both.
"I guess we should." Ashley said as I got up to take Y/N home. "Where are you going?"
"I'm taking her home." I said as I got my bag. I walked over to her having a debate over having another drink with the bartender. I gently rested my hand on her arm to get her attention.
"What's up?" She slurred.
"Come on, I'm taking you home." I told her softly as I helped her up and put of the door. She ran into an alley by the bar to throw up. I ran upto her and rubbed her back. Once she had finished I got to my car and helped her in which she fell asleep instantly. I didn't know where she lived so I took her to my place. Once I pulled up and woke her up. She collapsed on the sofa. I took her shoes off and put a blanket over her with a bucket beside her with some water and painkillers before I went and got myself ready for bed.
The next morning I woke up to find Y/N still passed out on the sofa so I decided to make some breakfast. As I was finishing plating it up I heard Y/N come into the kitchen.
"Why am I here?" She asked as she leant on the doorframe.
"I brought you home last night. You were in bad shape and I didn't want anything to happen to you." I told her as I handed her a plate.
"Thank you but I should get going." She said putting the plate down.
"What's wrong? You can talk to me." I told her softly.
"No I can't." She said as she walked out leaving her breakfast. I was honestly lost at how to help her when I don't even know what's wrong.
Once I had gotten ready, I decided to go and do some shopping with Scar and Rose. I heard them talking but I wasn't listening. I was thinking about Y/N and wondering what got her in such a bad place.
"Liz are you even listening?" Scar asked as she waved her hand in front of my face.
"I'm sorry, my minds just somewhere else." I said with a sigh.
"What's going on?" She asked me softly as we all sat inside a coffee shop. She gave Rose her phone with her headphones. I explained to her everything about Y/N and how we ended up where we are now.
"Wait do you mean Y/N Y/L/N?" She asked me with a frown
"Yeah, do you know her?" I asked her.
"Yeah she was engaged to my cousin." She said sadly.
"What do you mean by was?" I asked her as I took a sip of my coffee.
"Well Claire was getting sick of Y/N always putting her job first before her and Jacob so she took Jacob and left. Y/N has tried everything, she got a lawyer to try and get joint custody of Jacob but Claire and her lawyer has got alot of stuff on Y/N." She said quietly.
"What do you mean?" I asked concerned for the person who owns my heart
"Well she suffers with PTSD and Claire told me that she can be quite unstable when she has an episode." She told me which made me angry that she would do that and that Scar was talking about it like its normal.
"I uh I have to go." I told her as I stood up.
"Ok, I'll see you at work." She said with a smile.
I tried to find out where Y/N would be. I knew that I needed to see her and make sure that she was OK. I bumped into Dani who was Y/Ns best friend growing to see if she had seen her.
"Hey Dani?" I asked making sure I didn't run into a random stranger.
"Hey Liz. How are you?" She asked me softly.
"I'm doing OK how are you?" I asked her with a smile. After we had caught up, I made my way on my journey to find Y/N. I looked in every bar I could until I got to a dive bar near her parents place. I saw her by the bar hunched over a glass of whiskey. I felt really bad for what she had to go through. I hated seeing her like this. I walked over to her and sat beside her.
"Is this seat taken?" I asked her with a smile.
"Yeah I guess it is now." She said as she downed her glass and asked for a refill. The bartenders asked me what I wanted and I just asked for a coke. "Why do you keep following me?"
"Because I care about you. I want to make sure that you're safe." I told her honestly.
"But why do you care about me. Everyone always leaves me eventually. I haven't spoke to my mum in years and my dad passed away when I was last on tour. And to top it off I come home to my fiancé taking my son away from me. I just dont think I'm worth any of you're time so use it on someone worth it." She said as she finished her drink and stood up and put her money on the bar. I got up and followed her out. "Please Lizzie, just go back to your perfect life and hopefully you won't ever have to see me again." She said with hurt in her eyes. It hurt me to see her so broken.
"No. I'm staying right where I want to be." I said with a soft smile as I reached to cup her face.
"Please just leave me and forget about me. Everyone else does." She said as she removed my hands away from her face and walked off. I was shocked at how damaged she was. She was broken and I can't just stand here and watch. I followed her again but only to get stopped by some creep.
"Hey miss, how about I buy you a drink." He said with a sick smile.
"No thank you." I said as I tried to walk away but he gripped my arm.
"Come on, just one drink." He said desperately
"No, I don't want a drink and I would appreciate it if you took your hands off me." I said loud enough for Y/N to hear. I didn't know that she had heard until I heard her voice behind me as he tightened his grip.
"Leave her alone." She said as she towered over him
"Really, are you gonna stop me?" He challenge her with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm not challenging anyone, I'm simply trying to teach you how to respect women." She said as she gripped his wrist harshly making his grip loosen on my arm. My heart was beating fast. I didn't know if it was because of the situation or how hot she looked as she threatened him.
"You're just a girl, you can't take a man." He snarled at her.
"Try me." She said as she got in his face. He punched her in the face a couple of times as she was on the floor laughing. "You know you punch like a girl." She teased him as he dived at her. She tackled him to the ground punching him repeatedly in the face. I walked over to her and touched her shoulder.
"Y/N please let's go home." I pleaded with her trying to get her to stop. Which she didn't. I grabbed her hand she was punching him with and made her look at me. "Please just take me home." I asked her softly which I watched as all anger left her eyes as they softened. She looked at the man on the floor before she took my hand and wrapped her arm around me protectively and took me to her home. Once she let me in, I noticed empty beer bottles and whiskey bottles everywhere. This definitely shown that she was going through a hard time. I looked at her and saw how nervous she was
"I'm sorry about the mess, I haven't really had time to clean." She said as she started to clean up.
"It's OK, you've been going through alot but please just let me help you. I want to be here for you." I told her as I helped her.
"Why though?" She said as she stopped to look at me.
"Because I love you. I'm in love with you. I never stopped. I was stupid and lonely when I fucked up our relationship. And i hate myself every damn day for it. I ruined your life and I didn't support you then but I'm doing it now. I know its probably too late for me to work my way back into you're heart but you never left mine. You have always been that missing Piece that I have needed. Through all of my success, it means nothing because I didn't have you by my side. It took me a very long while to realise it and I don't expect you to forgive me but i just needed to say it." I said as she just watched me in silence. "Please say something." I begged her not able to take the silence any longer. She just looked at me before she walked towards me and kissed me passionately. I was finally kissing the lips I had craved so much. I wrapped my arms around her neck as her hands found their place on my hips. Once we pulled apart she rested her forehead on mine.
"I'm still in love with you too but I don't trust you. You have to earn that back I just can't give it to you." She said softly as I just nodded.
"I understand that I do. I don't want anything to come between us again. I'm not going to lose you." I told her softly.
"I just need to get Jacob back." She said sadly.
"And I will help you OK. We will get the best lawyer and we will get you cleaned up and I will do anything so you get your baby boy back." I told her with a smile.
"You don't care that I have a baby." She asked me with tears in her eyes.
"No i don't. He's you're son and I will do anything in my power so you get to see him and hold him in your arms again." I told her softly which she just kissed me again. I melted into her touch instantly.
Y/N pov
It's been a few months since Lizzie and I had reconciled and she had helped me with getting Jacob. The courts agreed on joint custody and I couldn't be more grateful for her. I had already heard that Claire was already with someone a couple of weeks after she left me. It was Claires week with Jacob so I was standing leaning against the door frame watching as Lizzie changed and played with Jacob. I knew then in my heart that it was always going to be her.
Once we had dropped Jacob off at Claire's, we went to Mama Js for a quick visit. As we were all sat down talking, lizzie was sat talking with her sisters when Mama J signalled for me to follow her. Once we were in the kitchen she started.
"How are you doing since everything happened?" She asked me softly.
"Honestly, I've been doing great since Lizzie and I started to work things out. She helped me alot and I have no idea how to ever repay her." I said with a smile
"I'm happy that you two are working things out. You had always been my favourite for her. You made her so happy, and when you two weren't together I could tell she wasn't happy. She would smile and say she was happy with how far she had came in life but I knew there was something missing and that was you." She said with a smile.
"Im happy too. Its always been her. I don't know why I was so stupid to think that someone else would ever hold my heart when truly she had never let it go." I said softly making her smile bigger.
"Do you still have that ring?" She asked me quietly.
"Yeah, I've never had the heart to return it or give it to someone else. Its her ring and it will always be hers if she'll have it." I said as she pulled me in for a hug.
"She will say yes. She has never looked at anyone with so much love as what she does with you." She said with a soft smile before we headed back inside to the girls.
"Hey baby." Lizzie said as I sat down beside her as she gave me a soft kiss.
"Hi sweetheart." I said with a wide smile. We went back into conversation with the others. When we made it home, she was in the kitchen as I went up to my closet to get the ring before going downstairs to her.
"Do you want to go for a walk with me?" I asked her softly.
"Yeah" She said with a bright smile. We put our shoes on before we left. We walked towards the beach as the sea shone in the moonlight. As we were walking hand in hand down the beach I came to a stop. "You ok baby?"
"Yeah I'm more than OK." I said with a smile as I took a deep breath. "I've known for a long time that you're the one for me. Even though we had seperated for a few years but we had found our way back to eachother. You have always had my heart even when we were apart. You have been my happiness and my light in the dark. No matter how dark my life has been lately you have guided me through it. You helped me get back to being me and I'm forever grateful and it only made me fall in love with you more." I said as I got down on one knee. "So what im saying is Elizabeth will you do me the honor of becoming my wife and spending the rest of our lives together." I asked her as her hand was over her mouth as tears streamed down her face.
"Yes a thousand times yes." She said as I stood up and put the ring on her finger before she pulled me in by the collar of my shirt for a passionate kiss. "Take me home." She whispered against my lips.
Once we were home she dragged me up to our room before she pushed her lips back on mine in an eager kiss. I wrapped my arms around her waist as I pushed her further into me as she gripped the back of my neck. I licked her bottom lip for entrance which she granted. There wasn't any fight for dominance, it was just pure love. She started to unbutton my shirt without breaking the kiss. She pushed it off my shoulders before I took her t shirt over her head. We both rushed to get our trousers off. Once we were just in our underwear I picked her up and gently lay her on the bed.

"I love you more." She said with a fuzzy smile.

Once the condom was on she pulled me in for a bruising kiss wrapping her legs around my waist. I slowly inserted myself making us both moan at the feeling. I started to thrust slowly and gently as I pressed kisses to her jaw. "Faster" She breathed out.
