It's been a week since Mr. Evans left the hospital, and to be honest, I kind of miss his presence. We had so much fun together in the few days that he was here, I really hope to see him again some day. I'm on a lunch break now, on my own because my friends already had theirs. I can't believe he actually sent me a message! He's so sweet, I'd love to talk to him for a while longer too but I really have to get back to work now. After hours of surgery and helping other patients, it's finally time to go home.
- Two Months Later -
Chris and I texted every day, we even called each other a few times after he asked me for my number! He said he wanted to come here to see me a few times, but ofcourse, he can't drive. After a month of being in the 'talking stage', he actually came to New York.
He asked me for my address, and came by because his brother needed to be in New York anyway. His brother stayed the night with a friend, and Chris wanted to go to a hotel. Instead of that, he stayed the night with me. In the guest room, ofcourse.
A few days ago, he told me that he wanted to start doing physical therapy. Today, he's coming back to New York. His friend is taking him to the hospital this afternoon for the first session, I can't wait to see him again.
Chris' POV
I'm in New York after Scott took me here. I'm at Sebastian's place now, close to the hotel where I will be staying for the next few months. He insisted on helping me through the day while being in New York for the 4th and last Avengers movie, so he's going to take me to physical therapy every week.
Since he will be the one that's going to take me to physical therapy, I should tell him about Amelia. We're doing really great, actually. I'd say we're still in the 'talking stage', but that's just because I can't ask her out right now.
Asking her our would mean picking her up, and taking he out for dinner. I can't do that, because I can't drive a fucking car without using my legs. Still, I like her very much. I like her way more than I should, but it's already been 2 months now and I think it's really going somewhere!
We called, texted and talked through FaceTime every day in the past months, I even went here to visit her once! Scott was going to New York, that was a great opportunity to see my girl. Alright, I shouldn't think of her as 'my girl' yet, but I do. Sue me!
That time, when I visited her here, she wanted me to stay her her place because the hotel wouldn't be able to take care of me. I agreed, so we spent two whole days together.
We cuddled, talked a lot and got to know each other way better. I really like her, I hope I get to see her more often. It sucks that I can't stand or do anything else with my legs, I'd love to actually stand next to her and hold her hand during walks.
