(A) decided to spend the night with (B) the night before they get sent out on a big mission, one that they aren't really sure wether or not they'll come back from. But they make no mention of their fear, or the mission at all, (can be at first, if you want) since as the boss said, nobody should know about it happening. Wether or not they spill their guts about everything, or just something completely different with a last bout of courage, is up to you.
