I woke up to water being thrown on me and I quickly coughed it up.

He pulled a needle out of his pocket with blue liquid and I quickly tried to force myself to move back but that didn't work.

" now we wait " he said and a bunch of random people- im assuming guards- came in.
" do anything but kill her " the man said and I scoffed.
The door opened again revealing a guard, a kid and Serenity.
" MOMMY! " serenity yelled and I felt my heart shatter.
" DON'T HURT HER! " I yelled and he laughed.
" I wouldn't hurt a child " he said in a offensive tone.
" but they will watch their mother get beaten to a pulp " he said confusing me.

" oh I forgot to mention she's from you- by your eggs so this'll be a crazy first impression " he said and I couldn't even process it.
" that kid looks about 5! " I said looking at the kid.
" do the math.. remember when you went into that surgery? " he asked.
Before I could reply I felt a kick to my stomach and that knocked the air out of me.
I heard Serenity start crying and I felt another hard kick to my stomach.
" No! Turn them around! " I yelled.
" hmm.. No they'll watch " he said sarcastically and I started getting hit in different places.

" so the man driving the car died " my guard said coming up to me.
" did you get me the security camera footage? " I asked and he nodded handing me a flash drive.
" GO FIND HER! " I yelled at him and he flinched but nevertheless left.

Serenity was on the floor sleeping and the girl ran over to me.
" I'm okay " I said weakly and looked at the blood under me.
" I need to get us out of here " I said coughing and my vision started to get blurry.

My body started feeling like it was on fire and the door opened again.
" let me help you guys get out of here- my father is crazy " she said.
" YOUR father kidnapped me? What the hell are you doing here?! " I asked and she shushed me.
" someone's behind you " I said and she turned around.
" nobody is behind me, the drug is making you hallucinate " she said and I felt my eyes close.
" I can't do this alone you have to stay awake! " I heard her say and I slowly opened my eyes.
" I can't move so call Henry and have him go to my um.. my fa- you know what I'm trying to say " I said coughing and blood came out.
" I'll be back to help you, someone's going to come give you medical attention " she said and started walking to the door.
I knew something was off with her! I should've trusted my damn gut.
" what's your name? " I asked the girl beside me.
" Nyla " she said softly.
" that's a pretty name " I said trying to give her a smile.
I felt my eyes closing again and I said one more thing before I blacked out.
