Sophie's
"You sure your mom's know you'll sleep here?" Asked Noah as he parked at Andy's door
"Yeah" I smiled "she's Andy she's my aunt" I said and he nodded
"Alright then..." he smiled as he pecked my lips "see you tomorrow?" He asked and I nodded kissing him back
"See you" I said as I placed a kiss on his cheek
I carefully opened the door to find Andy still awake
"You awake?" I laughed
"Hey sorry. Yeah, your brother was here a while ago, we had some beers and it got late" she said and I nodded
"He's not going home right?" I said and she shook her head
"He went over to a friends house and he'll be back" she said
"Friend house?" I smiled "you mean Kate's house"
"Yeah" she smiled "so you know?"
"About my brother dating a model?" I asked
"Is she...!" She said
I laughed and said "I'm kidding Andy. But she could well be"
"Oh, right" she said "how did the party go?"
"Argh kinda boring" I lied. Specially since most of the time I had been with Noah making out
"right... I'll want details in the morning but now goodnight" she laughed as she kissed my head and headed into her room and so did I falling asleep some minutes later not being able to make Noah's beaten face up disappear
Matt's POV
"Are you ready to talk now?" said Kate as she placed her head on my chest as she carefully traced patterns on my bruised ribs
"argh, I thought you invited me to help me heal" I laughed kissing her deeply leaning on her
"and we've already did that" she said smiling pushing me away "hand me my shirt"
"no no, come on" I smiled "okay, then" I said "let's talk"
"I'm not mad you know" she said "I know you did it for the right reason"
"I know I did, my moms don't feel the same tho" I smiled down at her
"I get it cause I'm a girl of your age and I'd like to have someone stand up for me at a bar" she said "not because I'm forwards on you fist fighting"
"I know, and I am sorry" I said "you know I wouldn't have done it for other reasons"
"I know, I trust you" she smiled pecking my lips
"so, I was thinking" I said "you know, after I get all this stuff straightened up at home, you could maybe come over? As in formally come?" I said
"I'd love to" she said smiling at me with those gorgeous blue eyes "I've been willing to meet your family"
"They'll love you" I said
"hoping so" she said "you spending the night here?" she asked
"your parents will be back in the morning, don't want to risk it" I said as I began to get dressed again
Sophie's POV
I was totally asleep when I heard the door opening
"Matt?" I asked confused as I opened my eyes
"shoot, sorry, you here?" he said as he walked closer
"yeah, I didn't know you were coming back" I said
"oh no, no worries, go back to sleep" he said "I'll go home"
"you sure?" I asked
"yeah" he smiled and kissed my head "go back to sleep"
I nodded and placed my head on the pillow falling asleep in seconds
"hey Soph" he said
"hmm?" I said
"I did it, I told Kate to meet mom and mama" he said before opening the door
"wow" I said as I sat up "really?" I asked
"yeap" he said smiling
"go Matt" I smiled and he opened the door
"go me" he sarchastically laughed
"what's wrong?" I asked
"nothing" he laughed "love you, sleep tight"
Maya's POV
"Morning" I smiled as I turned to Carina as she began to wake up
"morning" she said sleepily rubbing her eyes
"Sophie is at Andy's place, she slept there last night" I said
"but did she let you know?" she asked and I nodded
"she phoned me before" I said
"did you set up the coffee machine?" she asked as she walked into the bathroom
"what?" I asked confused since I had just woken up hadn't even headed downstairs
As I was walking downstairs I saw him in the kitchen pouring coffee when did he even come back home.
*phone rigns*
"Andy hey" I said "thank you, about last night" I said
"oh please, they're my nephews" she said "hey we need to talk"
.....
"fuck" I said after speaking to Andy and walked back upstairs
After I finished telling everything to Carina she sat down on the bed holding her head
"yeah" I said "I know"
"I'm the worst mother ever" she said as she burried her face in her hands "he tried to explain it to me, I didn't even let him talk"
"Carina, neither did I" I said as I looked at my watch "I'll go pick up Sophie from Andy's"
Carina's POV
"hey" I said as I walked into the kitchen where he was sitting down with his laptop answering some mails
He picked up his look and turned it back to his laptop after meeting my eyes
"can we talk?" I asked as I sat opposite him and he closed his laptop and looked at me "okay, Matt, I'm the one who needs to talk"
He looked at me again having that same look on his eyes, Maya's eyes
"I'm so, so, so sorry" I said as I grabbed his hand "I should have listened to you last night and I didn't, and I'm so sorry about that"
"it's okay" he mummbled
"I should have let you explain..."
"mama, it's okay" he said as he looked up at me "it's okay" he said
I got up, walked over to him and kissed his head as he stood up "you know I'm proud of you right?" I said as I wrapped my arms around him "couldn't be more proud of you, and I'm really really sorry about last night" I said squeezing him tightly
"oh god, please don't squeeze" he said clutching his ribcage
"oh my god Matt, I'm so so sorry" I said taking my hands to my mouth "I'm really sorry my love"
he chuckled as he sat down catching his breath "no worries"
I grabbed an ice bag and handed it over "can I see?" I asked and he looked at me "please" I said and he nodded as he began to unbuckle his shirt and I just couldn't hide my face.
"It's okay" he said "It's not as bad as it seems"
Maya's POV
"thank you Andy" I said as we were sitting in the living room
"and...?" she said smiling at me
"and you're an amazing friend?" I smiled
"and...?" she said
"and the best godmother in the world?" I laughed
"and...?" she said
"and you're hot?" I laughed "I don't see what you want me to say"
"fine, I'm satisfied with that" she smiled "so, did you talk to him?" she asked and I shook my head "maya, you're an amazing mother" she said "you've raised two amazing kids"
I nodded and said "It just killed me seeing him like that" and
Andy nodded and said "Sometimes it's better to just see the whole picture"
"what's the whole picture?" said Sophie as she walked out of the guest rooms
"look who decided to get up" I laughed as she came over to hug me
"ha ha you're funny" she said "thanks Andy for letting me stay"
"please, you don't have to ask" said Andy "I love having you around"
Both of us headed back home talking about the party, even tho I knew she wasn't even telling me a little fraction of her actual night.
"you know I'll find the actual truth at some point right?" I laughed as I unlocked the door
"no mom you won't" she laughed as we both walked inside
As we walked in Sophie's face fell after seeing it.
"I know" said Carina stroking his hair "just keep on icing them, I'll go get the painkillers" she said as she stood up from the couch where Matt was laying down with a huge bag of ice over his naked torso which showed all the bruises and another one over his hand
"what the hell?" said Sophie as she walked over to him as he began to sit up
"Soph, it's not... it's not as bad as it seems" he said standing up
"show me your hand" she demanded as she moved the ice from his ribs "Matt show me your hand damn" she said
"Soph please" he said as she took off the ice from his hand
"It was you" she said as her eyes filled with rage
"what are you talking about?" he asked confused
Carina and I exchanged a confused look as both of us began to get closer
"you beated Noah up!" she yelled as she pushed him back impacting his ribs
"argh damn" he said as he clutched down
"Sophia!" yelled Carina as she kneeled down to Matt and I held Sophie back
"what the hell are you talking about?" he said on the floor as he catched his breath
"you almost killed him!" she yelled trying to pass over me "you almost killed Noah the other night!"
"Sophie what's going on?!" I asked
"you beated him up the other night!" she yelled "you almost killed him damn!" she yelled with tears on her eyes "you almost killed him!"
