Y/N POV:
"Kyo!" I pummel the punching bag,
"Kyo!"
"You pissed or something?" A voice says.
I turn around to see Tory.
"Nah... Kyo! ... I just ... Kyo! ... needed a... Kyo! distraction!" I punch between every word.
"It's not healthy to be here all the time," She says softly.
"I don't have anywhere else to go," I say.
"Let's go for a drive," She suggests.
"I'm not sure if I want-"
"It wasn't a question L/N. Get in the goddamn car," She says.
I get in the car with Tory and we end up in a string of apartments in Receda.
"This is my place," She says, opening the door to a small room.
"Do you have any other family with you?" I ask quietly.
"A brother and a mother. She's sick though," Tory says sadly.
"I'm sorry for asking," I say.
"Don't apologize. Nobody's home right now. I was wondering if you wanted to watch a movie," She says.
"I guess so," I say.
"We have Disney + so whatever you wanna watch, we can," She shrugs.
"How bout Black Widow?" I ask.
"Sure," She puts on the movie.
We watch a few minutes when she asks,
"Did you have me put this on just to see Scarlett Johansson?"
"Why of course not," I huff, "Because of Florence Pugh."
She snorts at my comment.
We watch more of the movie.
"Yelena is so badass in a helicopter," I say.
"I know right!" She laughs.
"Wait are you..."
"I'm pansexual," She clarifies.
"Cool. I'm bi," I whisper.
"Yeah."
I check the time.
"Shit I can't miss my first shift of work!" I say frantically.
"I'll take you," She offers.
"Thank you. You know where the roller rink is?" I ask.
"I work there. Actually, my shift starts soon."
"Cool!"
Tory and I arrive at the roller rink when we see Miguel and Sam skating.
"I guess they really are back together," Tory mumbles as we get off to work.
"Two cokes, one diet, one regular. Anything else I can get for you too?" I ask the table I'm serving.
"We're good," They say.
"Okay great. Enjoy your time at the roller rink," I say with a fake smile as I go to deliver more orders.
"Hey," Tory says, grabbing a plate of fries.
"Hi," I smile at her.
Miguel and Sam sit down at a table.
"Who wants to serve them?" She asks.
"I'll do it. You owe me," I say.
I go over to their table.
"Welcome how may I help you?" I say in a professional voice.
"Y/N," Sam acknowledges.
"Hey," I say.
Sam makes eye contact with Tory as she approaches us.
"Look who it is! It's the LaRusso bitch!" Tory laughs.
Sam gives Tory an evil smirk as she kisses Miguel aggressively. Tory seems pissed off. I suddenly feel a hand on my collar.
Tory turns me towards her. Her lips smash against mine. I kiss back passionately. Is this just to get back at Sam? Because I want it to be something more...
"Are you two together?" Sam gasps.
"Yeah Sam. Tory's my girlfriend. Better person than you'll ever be," I worsen the blow.
Sam looks like she's about to cry.
"We'll just start you out with some waters," Tory says as we make an excuse to go to the counter.
"I have to know. Was it just for show?" I ask.
Is she gonna reject me?
Am I gonna be humiliated?!
"No," She whispers and we kiss again.
Except it's gentle. Just us, blocking the entire world out.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" I interrupt the kiss.
"Yes," She says happily as we go back to kissing.
