Once we made it to English I went straight to the back and sat by the window only for people to gasp.
I looked at them curiously and Amelia spoke.
" that's mason's seat- he doesn't like it when people sit there " she said and I shrugged my shoulders.
" Is his name on it? Did he invent it? Did he buy it? No.. " I said and turned my head to the board.
The door opened revealing Stephanie and Diana and they looked around but when they saw me they stopped and came my way.
" stairs " Stephanie said sitting down behind me.
" i'm not out of breath surprisingly " diana said sitting next to me.
" good to know " I said and the teacher walked in.
After we were forced to make a introduction the teacher was quick to start teaching but not even ten minutes into the lesson the door was kicked open.
Dramatic much..
" mason, nice of you to join us " the teacher said and I put my name on my paper.
Not even a few seconds later some feet came into my view and I looked up to see the Kevin boy.
" get out of my seat " he said coldly.
" is it really your seat? " I asked in the same tone.
" look newbie clearly you don't know who I am so I'll let you know- " he started so I cut him off.
" look here oldie I clearly don't care who you are and I don't see your name on the seat so have a good day " I said giving him a fake smile and heard people gasp.
He let out a small laugh and sat in the other chair so I looked at the board only to see people staring at me in shock and fear.
I hate it here.

And there's the second bell.. time for P.E.
" Well this was fun " diana said standing up.
" um sure " Stephanie said and I put my stuff in my backpack.
" Are we going to P.E or skipping? " I asked standing up.
" There might be some cute people at P.E- I say we go " diana said making me shake my head.
" sure why not " I said under my breath and we started walking.
" wait where is the gym? " Stephanie asked.
" I know the way " I said and we left the class.

When gym was over we instantly left and started making our way to the cafeteria.
" I hope it's not packed " I said letting out a sigh.
We walked in the cafeteria and i spoke too soon- it was packed.
I looked around and heard someone shout my name.
I looked to see Amelia waving at me and I looked at Stephanie and Diana before walking that way.
I went up to her and she smiled.
" this is kara, daniela, alice, anthony, and my boyfriend jace " she said pointing to them all.
I looked at them all individually and a few of them looked familiar.
and that's when it hit me.. i've worked with them in the underworld.
" guys this is janessa and.. " she trailed off looking beside me confused.
" my two best friends stephanie and diana " I said and she nodded.
" well sit " she said and we sat in the last three empty seats.
" tu izskaties pazīstams " the Kara girl said looking at me.

" I've worked with you all a few times " I said after a few seconds and they looked at me confused but a look of realization slowly crept on their face.
Daniela and Alice.. street racers and assassins.
Kara and Jace.. street fighters and assassins.
Anthony.. just an assassin.
But Amelia- this is my first time meeting her.
" so how do you guys like it here so far? " Jace asked.
" I don't know, nothing interesting has happened " I said shrugging my shoulders and Diana and Stephanie agreed.
" well that's this school for you " Amelia said.
The doors were kicked open and everybody went silent so I turned around to see what was going on and it was a few family members and other people i don't know.
Don't tell me they so called own the school..
I rolled my eyes and turned back around boredly because honestly whatever they have going on isn't important.
" so are there any extra curriculars? " I asked catching their attention.
" um there are clubs then track and softball season is coming up and that's pretty much it but you talk to the coaches for that stuff " Kara said and i nodded.
I felt a presence behind me and I rolled my eyes before turning around only to see jamie and his crew I'm assuming.
" may I help you? " I asked annoyed.
" no you may not " he said and i turned back around.
" So anyway- " I started but got cut off.
" Why don't you come sit with us? " he asked.
" No I'm good, get the hell away from me " I said seriously.
" Janessa- "
" bye " I said and looked around to see everybody watching.
" YOU CAN MIND YOUR BUSINESS! " I yelled and glared at them which made them go back to what they were doing.
" we'll talk about this when we get home " he said and i heard footsteps so I knew he walked away.
That's if I go back tonight.
" okay what was that? What does he mean home? " Alice asked.
" hey get out of her business " Amelia said.
" I'm related to him sadly " I said and yawned.
I looked down at my watch and saw that a text came in and it was from henry.

I have somewhere very important to go, i can't take Serenity with me.
Me:
Alright, i'm on the way
After the text sent I looked up at everybody.
" Unfortunately I have to go, it was nice meeting you again i guess " I said standing up and walked away.
As I walked down the hall I grabbed my phone and sent a text to the Groupchat.

Me:
I'm gonna go be with Serenity.
I pulled out my keys and left the building and ran to my car.
I'm going to spend the rest of my day with Serenity, fuck if my so called family finds out.
I had a few more classes left so honestly they'll be fine.
I started my car and quickly pulled off.
< JAMIE'S POV >
I watched as Janessa left and I looked at the table she was sitting at before going back to my conversation.
" so that's the twin we've heard about the past few days.. " my best friend cole said.
" yep " I said popping the p.
" what is she doing hanging out with them? " Bryson asked.
" how the hell should I know? " I asked and started eating my salad.
I looked back at the table and noticed the other two get up.
" I'm ready to leave " Vanessa said lying her head down.
" I agree " Sarah said getting on her phone.
" There's going to be a party at my house on friday. " Sam said and i nodded.
" I'll be there " I said excitedly.
Partying means drinking, smoking, girls, and having fun which I'm down for.
" So how has it been going with your twin being here? " Bryson asked.
" it was quieter when she wasn't here " I said and Vanessa raised her head.
" can you not? " she said and I scoffed.
" she's just disrespectful and honestly it's not that I don't want her here, she just irritates me sometimes "
" how does she irritate you if she doesn't even talk to you.. " Sarah trailed off looking at me like i was dumb.
" maybe it's her presence " I said shrugging my shoulders.
" but you just- " Sarah started and she got cut off by Vanessa.
" leave it alone " she said and we gave her a look before looking at each other.

The bell rang which indicated lunch was over and she still hadn't came back.
I'd definitely be telling father about this.
But then again I can't- I saw her schedule and we have the next class together so if she doesn't show then I'll know something is up.
Since she came back a part of me has been happy but another part of me hasn't cared.
I mean for god sakes she's my twin and I should be getting close to her and getting to know her but in a sense she's been pushing us away and I've been doing the same.
Have we been the nicest to her? No..
But that can change..
But then again will it? because due to the whole poison situation I expect nothing less.
we don't even know how whatever that was got in her food or why- but dad's getting to the bottom of it.
I stood up and did handshakes with my friends before leaving.
It's normally like three more of them but they're out of town.
But it's time for the class I dread.
