A/N: Hey guys, I'm obviously not a singer so I don't know how to write songs. But the songs I'll pick you guys will just have to pretend like it's Lia singing them.
Jude's POV:
We finished eating breakfast like 1 hour ago and Lia went back to the room while Jobe and I played FIFA, Jobe ended up beating me 3:0 and I was obviously very mad over the fact I lost. So I decided to take a break from FIFA and go see what Lia was up to, as I got closer to our room I could hear a guitar playing. I opened the door and she didn't realize I was standing there, after she finished playing I clapped and she got scared because she didn't realize I had been there the whole time
Jude: I didn't hear you play the whole thing but the instrumental was really good
Lia: oh God, please ignore that
Jude: nah I won't, it was really good
Lia: thank you
Jude: so, can I hear the song now?
Lia: you are very persistent aren't you?
I just laughed as she shook her head and then she took a deep breath before she started talking
Lia: okay so I'm going to be singing my song called Baby don't cut, and it's a very emotional song about a boy whose girlfriend self-harms. The lyrics are very heartbreaking, because they show that the victims of suicide aren't the only ones who experience pain. Their loved ones are left hurting as well.
Jude: is this about you and me?
Lia: yes, now turn around. I don't want you to to look at me while I'm singing, I'll probably start laughing
Jude: okay, you can start now
After Lia was done singing her song I was really shocked, she was really talented and had the perfect voice and songwriting skills. I could tell how much this song meant to her, the emotions, hard work and dedication she put in this song was perfect and I hope she herself realized that.
Lia: so what do you think?
Jude: I loved it, the lyrics, the voice, the emotions and everything else involved in this is just very fantastic
Lia: thank you, I don't plan on ever letting anyone else hear it. So it's just you, this song means a lot to me since I put every pain I felt in it.
Jude: well I'm really honoured
Lia: so, what do you plan on doing for your birthday tomorrow?
Jude: I don't know, probably just celebrate it with you guys
Lia: do you wanna do something together?
Jude: sure, what do you have in mind?
Lia: don't make any plans after 6pm tomorrow, I have a surprise for you
Jude: I love surprises, but don't scare me. I hate when you do that
Lia: well I can't make any promises
Jude: oh come one, it's my birthday
Lia: fine, I promise I won't scare you

Aaliyah's POV:
Last night when I was looking for Mark to help me set up the tent and fairy lights because I was too short, I overheard Jude and Jobe's conversation. I thought Mark would be at the balcony but instead it was Jude and Jobe there, they were talking about someone and I swear I didn't mean to listen in on their conversation. It was all just by accident
Jobe: she really is very special to you, I can tell you really like her
Jude: yeah, she's very special and I love her for who she is
Jobe: did you just say you loved her?
Jude: did I say it out loud?
Jobe: yes you did, but it was already quite obvious with the way you look at her
I just stood there in shock over what I had just heard, Jude admitted that he loved me. We hadn't told each other we loved each other so this was very exciting for me to hear, I didn't want to tell Jude because I felt like that was a very big step in our relationship and I wasn't sure if he felt the same way. But now that I know he feels the same way I can tell him, I had wrote a song to give him when I was ready but since I know he feels the same way I'll give it to him later today. Right now we're having brunch with everyone, Jude didn't want us to make a big deal out of his birthday but we all still wanted to show him how much we appreciated him. His parents and Jobe were giving him his presents and even though he told us he didn't want any he was still very grateful. I would give Jude my gift after brunch because I still had to set up the picnic, but everything else was already set.

It's now currently 6pm and I just put a blind fold on Jude, i'm taking him to the backyard which is where the picnic is set. I spent the whole afternoon yesterday and today working on it so I really hope he likes it, I'm really bad at gift giving so I tried my best with this. I could tell he was getting very impatient so I just told him we were almost there so that he wouldn't take it off, when we finally got there i put him in the middle and told him to take his blind fold
Lia: 3,2,1
He took off the blindfold and he was speechless, he looked around and I could tell he liked it because his eyes were sparkly and his eyes did that when he was admired something.
Jude:OH. MY. GOD.
Lia: do you like it?
Jude: are you kidding, I love it. You even have my favourite kinds of foods, the set up is also very pretty.
Lia: thank you, I'm really bad at gift giving so I'm glad you love it
Jude and I sat down and started eating the picnic I had made,
Jude: the food is so good
Lia: thank you, I made it with your mum
Jude: I knew something was going on when you kept going downstairs today
Lia: haha, your parents and Jobe all actually helped me with this. I couldn't have done it without them, so they deserve most of the credit
While Jude was still eating I took out my other gifts, he looked at me with a confused look on his face
Lia: I know you said you liked Biggie so I made you a little something
I pulled out a gift box that contained a glass Spotify music plaque,
Jude: can I open it now or later?
Lia: you can open it now
As Jude opened his gift I saw the excitement grow on his face when he realized what his gift was
Jude: no way you made this
Lia: yeah I did
Jude: this is so cool, you even chose my favourite song of his
Lia: obviously, what kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't know what was your favourite song
Jude: yeah true
Lia: I'm really glad you liked this gift because my last gift is also music related
Jude: you seriously didn't have to get me anything, you being here with me and celebrating my birthday is more than enough
Lia: yeah I know but I still wanted to
Jude just looked at me and smiled, I took out my speaker and started explaining the song
Lia: okay so I wrote this song a few weeks ago, and I was planning to give it to you when I was ready to tell you how I truly felt but I think I'm ready now. You don't have to say it back if you're not ready because I know it's a really big step in our relationship. The song is called "so my darling"

I pressed play on speaker and the song started playing, I was really nervous because I really wanted him to like it. I kept looking at him trying to figure out his facial expressions, he seemed to be smiling a lot during the song so it seemed like a good sign. When the song finally ended he looked at me with a big smile on his face, and we just looked each other in the eyes for a full minute without saying anything. I finally broke the silence by saying
Lia: I guess what I'm trying to say is that I love you, you don't have to say it back if you're not ready
After I said that he just looked at me laughing and I looked at him with a confused look on my face
Jude: There is nothing better than hearing you say that
He pulled me into the best kiss of my life and I had literal butterflies in my stomach. I'm pretty sure I was blushing a lot too
Jude: I love you too

Lia: I will never ever get tired of hearing that
Jude: me neither
I feel like I'm living my own fairytale right now and I wish this moment could last forever, just me and Jude sitting under the stars and not worrying about anything or anyone else.
