"l/n you go" vanessa held the door open for me, I got up and mumbled a 'thank you' as I passed by her.
I went to check the animatronics as I was literally 5 minutes ago at daycare
'wait do they even shut the animatronics off when it's night?' I wondered
I took a peek through monty's window even though most of the window was covered by the curtain. I saw monty sitting on his sofa as they didn't have a bed.
I went to the side, and knocked on the door, I never checked on an animatronic before?? what the fuck was i supposed to do? break the goddamn window?
"hey kid" the animatronic greeted me
"hi- uh.. I don't know if you and your friends know me but, I'm technically the new night guard and Im just like- checking up on you guys" I said nervously
"well as far as I know everything's right with me" he smiled
"hey- your glasses are really cool you might have to lend them to me atleast once" I laughed
"you know.. I actually have a pair in my drawer, they're actually for when I break them - which is most of the time I'd say, but I can give them to you" he leaned on the doorframe
"no its okay! I don't want you to- you know, break them and don't have another pair you could use-" I said quickly, trying not to stutter but he was already handing me the glasses
"I'll just tell them I broke them or lost them, which they'll probably believe" he chuckled and I shyly took the glasses from him
"thanks- if you need something when I'm on my shift you can look for me- if you want"
"nah its okay, bye kid" he smiled at me and closed the door
I looked at the glasses in my hands and couldn't help but grin a little bit
next I went to chica's room I knocked at her door but there was no response, no footsteps, no anything

I knocked a few more times but it was useless, I didn't know what to do if this happened so I messaged my superior, Vanessa.

"oh hi" I turned around to see vanessa and... people.. I didn't know
"leave the animatronics to us today, you can go check parts and service" vanessa said as she placed her hand on my shoulder
"what about da- nevermind" she didn't know I was at the daycare like, 10? minutes ago
"keep the great work up l/n" she patted my shoulder and I made my way to parts and service
'great work?? I literally played hide and seek with a fucking map bot..' i snickered
I felt a tight grip on my shoulders, expecting to meet the familiar robot, a mop made its way to my head, yes it hit me but not enough to make me die. imagine, night guard dies on pizzeria because of stupid janitor bot, please.
"ow!" I put my hands where the mop had hit me
I saw the janitor bot lift up the mop again 'delilah was right..' I tried to run away from it but the bot caught me, hitting me with the mop and rarely, knocking me out.

"y/n.. take a map.." I heard distorted voices
I saw a person, but it was very blurry, I couldn't make any of their features
"y/n! i l-"
"wait.. map bot..?" I said weakly
"y/n!!" I gasped
"y/n finally!" delilah was in front of me
"and FYI I'm not map bot" she helped me get up from the bench
"ow.. how long was I out?" I rubbed the spot where the janitor bot had hit me
"I dunno but it wasn't that much" she crossed her arms
"has this happened before?" I whined
"yeah like twice" she said
"but how do you guys guard without being hit?" I exclaimed
"this only happened with new guards because, uh- I think- vanessa says they have a face recognition and you've only been here for like- two- three days I'd say" delilah explained
"great now I'm gonna be decapitated by a fucking janitor bot" I sat down on the bench and sighed
"you know, you haven't checked parts and service yet, I'm sure vanessa wouldn't mind me helping you, after all, you're injured and need your job" she smirked
I snickered and looked at vanessa that was talking to chica in her room "sure" I smiled
we made our way to parts and service, the usual, stinky dumb af fucking defective animatronic tried to eat our butt cheeks but because we are so fucking smol and quirky, we escaped c̶u̶t̶e̶l̶y̶
I checked the hour
"fuck" I mumbled
"what?" delilah turned around
"I haven't checked daycare and my shift's about to end" I looked at her with wide eyes
"run" she said and I made may way trying to run as fast as possible even though I hated it and I'm really bad at running, delilah just behind me, seems like we have another thing in common, except from being gay
we made it to daycare barely alive
"sundrop?" I yelled
"BEST FRIEND! OH IS THIS YOUR FRIEND N/N?" he appeared behind us
"hey sunnydrop" delilah crossed her arms and smiled
"what's wrong? you're out of breath?" sundrop bent down so he could see me
"they- well- we, ran from parts and service to here" delilah said
"I don't know wheres that but, I got some fizzy faz for you best friend!" sundrop smiled and I looked up to him
"no thank you sundrop- we just came here to check"
"oh it's okay another friend came here because the lights went off but now I'm A-okay!" he gave us a thumbs-up
"huh?"
"yeah!" he smiled "now I have even MORE friends!" I looked at delilah confused and she looked at me too
"okay were going now-" I grabbed delilah and took her with me as sundrop was constantly saying goodbye
"I swear to god, haven't seen map bot in this entire shift" I sighed
"ya you did" delilah looked at me
"yeah- where?" I laughed
"when you were about to wake up you were saying things like 'map bot!' 'you're very cute' 'awww' 'mappy bot'" she did some exaggerated expressions
"and also you were moving very weirdly" she laughed
"no- I wasn't! what's 'mappy bot' supposed to mean?" I flushed
"you totally were, shame I didn't have my phone or something to record you with"
"shut up" i looked away and she chuckled, and I couldn't help but smile

I put down my bag and took off my uniform, and putting on whatever is comfy to sleep

I looked at them, very familiar structure, their hair seemed very fluffy and they had a soft yellow sweater with an 'i' on it, round glasses and their cheeks were faintly pink
they seemed to notice my stare and smiled at me, making me look away
"you don't have to be so shy with me- I know, I'm gorgeous but c'mon" they grinned

I woke up to Indian people building houses with pools using their hands in the middle of the forest so I just kept watching, don't blame me it was pretty cool
