Going inside the house, Kierra saw that it was already poppin'. She recognized mainly everyone from the church so, far no one unfamiliar was there. The music was loud, safe, and fun to dance too. It wasn't until an hour later that Dee showed up coming from upstairs spotting the trio. "Hey y'all." Dee said as he looked at Kierra while he was greeting Shamika and Walton.
"Y'all having a good time I see?" Dee asked and everyone nodded their heads. "I'm a go get y'all some drinks." Dee said, but Kierra stopped him not completely trusting him. "Oh no that's okay, I don't want one right now. I'll get my own later." Kierra said as she suddenly stopped dancing to look at him and Dee looked her up and down and Ki knew what he was saying to himself. 'Fat ass.' "Aye alright I was just trying to be nice." He said, as if he was raising his hands in surrendering and Kierra frowned at him. But then, the next thing they knew the party went from being from churchy to a real house party when Beatrice walked in bringing these unknown people in here that were not their age. "Hey y'all." Dee said running over to them pushing both Shamika and Kierra out of the way.
"Y'all got the shit?" Dee said, and they nodded their heads showing what was in the bag which was liquor, alcohol, amongst other things. "Aight we about to get this boring ass party started." Dee said rubbing his hands together.
Meanwhile back at home, Karen and Drew were having their alone time with one of their rare nights off with each other.
"Baby, it's time that I make it up to you." Drew said, referring to the fact that he didn't tell, Karen that Walton was Kierra's boyfriend. "Hmm I guess so, I mean it is Friday night and we do have the house to ourselves." Thinking quickly, she ran into one of the big closest that were in the room locking it taking out of her cell phone and calling her parents. She tried calling them four times. She asked her niece upset. "It's supposed to be a church party but Beatrice brought some other people and it got out of hand and I tried calling Mama and Daddy but they won't answer." Kierra said telling the truth. "Okay, Ki. I'll come get you and see what your mama and daddy doin'." Dorinda said, "They probably being nasty with them nasty selves." "PLEASE COME GET ME!" Kierra said, not wanting to hear that about her parents. "Alright I'm coming." Doe said as she took off her covers. "Where you goin' baby?" Greg asked her feeling his wife get up and get ready. "To go get Ki she stuck at a party and Karen and Drew are probably being nasty." She said, "I'm a go get Karen before goin' there." Dorinda said. "Alright hurry home." Greg said going back to bed. When Dorinda left she sped to her baby sister's house and quickly knocked on the door. "KAREN I KNOW YA IN THERE WITH YA NASTY SELVES!" Dorinda yelled banging on the door upstairs, "FUCKKK DREWW KEEP GOING!" Karen yelled out not hearing the door bell nor banging until she squirted for the second time that night. "Shittt who's that?" Karen said pushing her husband off of her as she pulled on her black short satin robe.
Going downstairs she snatched open her door to a pissed off Karen. "DAMN GIRL IT LOOKS LIKE HE WAS FUCKIN YOU UP!" When they pulled up in front of the house, Karen gasped. It wasn't like this when Drew had first dropped off, Kierra. "I'm a go find my baby." Karen said nearly breaking the car door gettin' out. Upon walking into the house it was a mess and some people who looked wasted didn't even look like familiar faces to them. As the two sisters walked into the house they found where the music was blasting from Dorinda unplugged the aux and Karen made an announcement. When Karen started yelling some of the people knew that voice but decided to ignore it thinking that it couldn't be who they thought it was...
"IF SOMEONE DON'T TELL ME WHAT IS GOIN ON HERE?!" She said, seeing familiar faces and some faces that she didn't know. "ALL Y'ALL ABOUT TO BE IN TROUBLE ON SUNDAY." The First Lady said, "IF Y'ALL DON'T GET Y'ALLS LITTLE BUTTS HOME I'M A SHUT ALL THIS MESS DOWN!" Karen hollered at them and half the kids started running out the house duckin' their heads because the First Lady was there as they were trying not to be seen by her.
"What in the devil?" Dorinda said picking up a bottle of alcohol knowing no one at this party was over the age of 21. But then she thought about the older young adults who she saw and rolled her eyes. And then they still seen some more of the kids who looked like they saw a ghost because they thought it was either a rumor or a lie that Karen was back home since they never saw her at church. And she started hollering again.
"JUST BECAUSE I'M NOT AT THE CHURCH THAT DOESN'T MEAN THAT I'M NOT THE FIRST LADY EXPECT FOR THE NEXT 4 SUNDAY'S TO BE TEENS SERVICE SINCE Y'ALL WANNA ACT LIKE Y'ALL GROWN! Karen yelled at them. So, in other words the entirety of the youth church was grounded for a whole month and Dorinda backed her up, "That's right PARTY'S OVER!" Dorinda said as she clapped her hands and they heard them groan out hearing their punishment. "AND SOMEBODY BETTA TELL ME WHERE SHE'S AT!"
Karen yelled at them gritting her teeth and they knew she was referring to Ki. And some of the teens pointed upstairs. "NOW, GO HOME I'LL BE SEEING Y'ALL NEXT SUNDAY AND THAT'S A PROMISE!" Karen yelled and the teens ran out. Upon going upstairs, Dorinda found both Walton and Shamika trapped in the closet. Walton had duck tape over his mouth as he was in a separate closet from Shamika and then once, Doe got him situated she got Shamika while Karen looked for her daughter finally finding her safe and sound they hugged each other tightly. "You alright?" Karen asked her smothering her with kisses. "Yeah, I'm fine." Kierra said as she tried to get out of her mom's grasp. "Go get in the car. This party is over." Karen said, and Kierra knew her mama shut down the whole entire party.
Once the kids were in the car, Kierra, Shamika and Walton was on the inside ducking their heads trying not to be seen. But she knew when that first, Sunday came Kierra was gonna be more of an outcast then she was now. But what happened at the party shouldn't have happened.
When everyone was dropped off at home, Karen and Kierra both came into the house quietly. She remembered when her aunt Doe and Karen was talking in the car. Mainly it was Dorinda doing the talking since, Karen's voice was going out after all of tonight's activities including what happened before hand, and after the fact. So, if anything Karen was just giving strong "mmhmm's" and "head nods" agreeing with what her sister was saying. "Ki are you sure you don't wanna talk about anything?" Karen asked her before, Kierra ran upstairs to her room. "Yeah mom, I'm fine." She said plainly. But Karen sensed that something was wrong.
Ki surprisingly, kissed her mom on the cheek goodnight as they used to do and Karen softly smiled. When everyone was in their respective rooms, Drew asked talked to her. "Is everything okay?" Drew asked knowing that Kierra had to call for a reason. "Yeah it's fine. It's just the party got out of hand." Karen said not telling him everything just yet. Because she knew something else had to have happened but Kierra wasn't telling her.
Karen said, "I just wanna go to bed." She told him and Drew welcomed her back into the bed cuddling with her. "Oh, and Drew." She said, "yes sweetie." He said in his tired voice. "I'll be going to church this Sunday since the kids who were at the party are in trouble. I'll explain everything to you tomorrow." She said as she quickly went to bed before, Drew could ask her anything else knowing that got his attention. Suddenly, his eyes popped back open wondering what happened.
