It was the next day and you were feeling more alive than ever!
You got out of bed and immediately got dressed into a white t-shirt with a mint green cardigan ,some jeans and white shoes.
You ran out of the dorms and went to the bus to catch the very next ride into the village. Today would be just a relaxing day of looking around the village and having fun.

Y/n💭: anything else to do here? Ooh maybe a library! I should ask someone
Y/n: excuse me sir?
???: yes?
Y/n: can you point me into the direction of a library?
???: oh it's near the cafe on the edge of the village you should be able to see it, it has a big sign saying library

You walked back the way you came. You saw the sign he was talking about and questioned how good your sight actually is because you never once saw this before.
You went in anyway and looked around.

You flinched and slowly turned around.
Y/n: geez Heeseung you scared me!
Heeseung chuckled.

You giggled at the boy's behaviour.
Y/n: well I'm here because I want to get some new books for at home!

Jake: oh all 7 of us came!

Heeseung: yeah they were all bored and I wanted to come here so I "dragged" them along

You giggled.

You giggled as Jake pointed accusingly to Heeseung and they both laughed with you.
Y/n: should we go to your friends they are probably confused where you have gone
Jake: i forgot about them!
Heeseung: oh no hopefully they didn't break anything
You and the boys walked over to the others. The boys just stared at you until one spoke up.
???: hi nice to meet you! I'm sunoo
Y/n: oh hello sunoo

You got flustered while sunoo turned to the boys to find them glaring at him.
Y/n: anyway Heeseung?

Y/n: you said you had more information?

Sunghoon: info about what exactly?
Heeseung: well me and y/n having been hanging out recently...
The boys immediately all glare at Heeseung.
Heeseung: and we found what we think is a reincarnation of the first vampire!
While Heeseung was explaining you could hear a scream and scratches coming from the forest.
Y/n: did anyone else hear that?
Jay: hear what?
Ni-ki arrives with a book in hand.
Ni-ki: oh hey dance partner!
The boys looked at him with a confused look.
Ni-ki: I didn't tell you?
The boys shook their heads.
Ni-ki: we met a few days ago and she agreed to be my dance partner!
The boys looked shocked.
You were still focused on the sounds though. You covered Ni-ki's mouth and tried to listen for it again.
Y/n: I think it came from the forest?
Heeseung: oh was it like a scream or something?
Y/n: yeah...
Sunghoon: probably wolves they like the forest
Ni-ki: mmmmpppphhh
Y/n: oh sorry
You took your hand off his mouth.
Y/n: has anyone ever gone to check it out?
Sunoo: I believe so! Like at one point someone must of gone in there to investigate
Heeseung: I suppose they would

Jake: wait you aren't planning what I think your planning...
You just smirked at the brothers and made a run for it.
Jake immediately got up and yelled "she's going into the forest!"
The boys got startled and ran after you.
You were standing on the border of the forest.
Boys: y/n!
Y/n: yes?
Heeseung: come on do you really wanna go in there?!
Y/n: I mean I am curious
Jay: haven't you heard the saying of curiosity killed the cat?!

Jungwon: like we will be any useful

You looked at them while they stood there frozen.
Y/n: I've had my suspicions for quite a while now...
Boys: ...
Y/n: Like the way when we would hug you would sniff me or the day i accidentally got a paper cut and Heeseung kept focusing on the cut or when i wore silver jewellery to dance and when me and Ni-ki finished dancing i noticed him covering some sort of burn mark on his hand...
Boys: so you were using us as experiments?
Y/n: not exactly. I wasn't doing them intentionally just so happened that i figured it out by some clues.
The boys sighed knowing that it would happen eventually and would have to tell someone.
Y/n: well are we going in? Your highnesses~
Heeseung: how?
Y/n: you guys really can't keep secrets can you? Would've thought you would get rid of all the books in the school library about you guys. I mean come on. Vampires and have lived in this area for over a thousand years? The only ones allowed in this area were royals or purebloods. The way you reacted just now proves my theory.
Jake: in our defense we didn't think anyone would bother to go and look there!
Y/n: yeah yeah anyway let's go!
You walked into the forest the boys walked slowly behind, keeping an eye peeled on anything that could be around.
Jay: how does she know so much about us?!
Jungwon: were you not listening? She practically experimented on us!
Heeseung: but let's be honest if she didn't find out sooner we would've accidentally slipped up.
Sunghoon: I suppose she can back us up if we slip up
Jake: who's to say she will though like she could tell the whole school!

Sunghoon: I don't know this place of the forest and I've been in here many times!
Heeseung: Interesting... I've never seen or heard about this place...
While the boys were thinking you wandered off because you saw something bright and glowing in the distance.
Ni-ki: guys we have bigger problems!
The rest: what?
Ni-ki: she's gone!
The all looked at where you were standing only to find you not standing there anymore.
Heeseung: sh!t
The gusy panicked before you calmly walked through the bushes a little ways away from them and yelled.
Y/n: yo guys come check this out!
The boys stepped through the bushes to be met with a cave of sorts with lots of shrubbery and a blue aura. Little fireflies kept the place lit up enough to see the surroundings but still leave a lot to the imagination. There was a small little lake of sorts in the middle and the water was close to crystal clear. Small stones lined the lake and settled down in the water.
Boys: wow...
Y/n: ikr it looks so nice and calm!
Heeseung: the water is quite clear as well...
You crouched down and tapped the water, letting ripples of water form.
Y/n: it's quite cold though
Jake: be careful, don't want you falling in now. We don't know how deep it truly is.
Y/n: I will!
Jungwon💭: something feels off about this place. It's calm too calm... maybe I'm just stressing!
Y/n: what's that down there?
Jay: why is it glowing?
Sunghoon: I have no clue...
Heeseung: it seems to be a glowing... rock?!
Sunoo: but rocks don't glow?
Ni-ki: that's the whole point sunoo ,we were shocked because of it glowing

You stood up and took your shoes off.
Y/n: you guys good swimmers?
Jake: wait what?!
Heeseung: we all are but don't you do it!

You jumped in and swam down to the glowing "rock".
The boys on the other hand were cautiously watching you.
You swam back up and put the glowing object on a rock. You hop back onto land, catching your breath a little then look at the glowing object.
Y/n: it's not a rock at all! It's a gem that seems to be smashed out of a necklace charm.
Heeseung: that still doesn't explain the fact it was glowing though!
Jake: idk either...
Sunghoon: um guys?
Jay: yes sunghoon?
Sunghoon pointed at the water and when they all looked at the water they saw it move on it's own. It created some sort of seat out of water and out jumped a mermaid.
Y/n: hi?
Ni-ki: pabo you don't just talk to strangers!
Y/n: I talked to you when you were a stranger and now look at us
Sunoo: she has a point...
???: I see you found it...
Y/n: um do you want it back?
???: oh no dear it's yours now it picked you
Y/n: me? Why me?
???: I don't either I got given it one day and got told when it is the right time it will glow meaning it has picked it's owner

Y/n: I'm not. I'm really just a waitress who you lives alone with my brother. I'm only really here because of luck.

The boys were looking confused.

At that moment each one of the boys wanted to slap him so hard he would be sent into next week.
You and the boys looked at each other then back at the woman.
Y/n: who are you? And what are you?
???: I'm Alyssa and I'm a mermaid. I believe I am around 26 but I haven't been keeping count I've been here too many years!
Y/n: why can't you just leave your a mermaid right? That means you can turn human
Alyssa: I would but not only did they curse me to this place but they also cursed me to stay in this form for the rest of my life

Alyssa: it's fine I've told many people that were brave enough to come here. Tbf most of them were humans so they instantly got killed by wolves or something but still! They is the people that gave me the amulet in the first place.

She brought a book to the surface with her magic and made a water spout so you could grab it.
Y/n: a book?
Alyssa: a magic book! Ask it a question or ask to see something and it will show you. Ask it any question and instantly it will know

Alyssa: oh and before I forget
she dived into the water and came back with a chain and passes you it.
Y/n: what do I do with this?
Alyssa: put the gem into the charm bit!
You slotted the gem into the charm and then the whole thing glowed. You let go but it just floated and then wrapped around your neck and stopped glowing.
All: what just happened?!
Alyssa: that was your confirmation that you are the rightful owner!
Y/n: my what?
Alyssa: now you can't take it off but you can now do call things that I can't speak of
Y/n: I can't take it off?
Jay: she can do things? Can you elaborate?
Jake: please do I'm confused
Alyssa: sorry but no can do. Oh well! Travel back safely and look after the gem!
She disappeared into the water while you were all left confused.
Jay: what things could she be talking about?
Sunoo: maybe powers?
Sunghoon: don't be rid-
Ni-ki: actually sunoo has a point I couldn't use my powers on her earlier and now she mysteriously has a glowing gem around her neck and has things she can now do.
Y/n: I guess it does make a bit of sense... let's just go home! I'm tired and confused. Can we carry this convo on tmr?
Boys: sure and we also need to talk about the mates thing...
Y/n: right
You walked off with them walking behind again.
After you go home you just flopped onto the bed. The boys didn't feel comfortable leaving you alone after that so you compromised and let them sleep in the living room maybe tomorrow will be less hectic.
