Nat stumbled into a puddle of water as it began to pour over New York City. A raining night with winter's frosty touch.
She looked into the puddle as she yanked the mask off of her face gasping for air. She looked down at the puddle looking at her reflection being thankful she couldn't see the black veins all over her.
She heard a voice in her head say, "I'm still here, sweetheart."
She groaned as she grasped her head, "Get out! Get out! Get out!"
She felt something crawl out of her back, an unpleasant feeling, as she was now face to face with She-Venom.
She-Venom growled, "You choose this."
Nat shrugged and said, "Yeah, well.. this is my body."
She-Venom tilted her head looking at her, slithering her tongue at her. Nat got frustrated as she tried to swing her arms at this creature instead being reciprocated by a smack in the face from She-Venom.
She yelled, "Hey!"
She-Venom smiled and said, "You did it first."
Nat crossed her arms sitting in the pouring rain staring at She-Venom. She got up as She-Venom shook her head at her saying, "Nope, we are staying right here", trying to keep Nat from walking.
She-Venom latched onto the walls making it hard for her to walk any further.
She growled, "Seriously, we're going to play this game?"
She-Venom smiled at her and said, "Just because you have control doesn't mean that I don't have a form to gain control."
Chills went through Nat's body as the thought of She-Venom taking over again horrified her. She steadied herself on her feet getting ready to run hoping somehow She-Venom would rip away from her.
She-Venom twisted her head looking at Nat confused as Nat took off with She-Venom still attached to her. Nat did not realize that She-Venom let go of the walls as she went face forward into another puddle of water.
She swept her hair out of her face and yelled, "Fuck off!"
She-Venom cackled behind her as Nat stood up again wiping herself down. They finally managed to walk together out back into the streets as Nat looked around seeing the mess She-Venom had made.
She-Venom managed to sweep a hooded zip-up sweatshirt from a bystander placing it on Nat to cover her from the rain. She-Venom hid back inside Nat as she said in her head, "Where are we going?"
Nat rolled her eyes not wanting to respond as she suddenly felt She-Venom screeching inside her head.
Nat groaned grasping her head and said, "Home!"
The screeching subsided, they finally approached the familiar alleyway as She-Venom hoisted them both up to the railings outside of Nat's window as she pulled the window open sneaking her way into her apartment.
She slumped herself onto the couch feeling the exhaustion began to hit her, but forcing herself awake not wanting to wake up to She-Venom in control.
Both her and She-Venom jumped up clutching onto the ceiling as suddenly the front door swung open to Peter and Eddie walking through. She froze as they both looked up at her.
She stumbled with her words and said, "Oh, um.. Hey guys!"
She-Venom purposefully let go as she dropped below with Peter catching her into his arms.
Eddie scowled, "'Hey Guys?' , You destroyed basically all of New York City!"
Nat was too busy examining Peter's face noticing the scratches and the slight cut on his bottom lip.
She asked worried, "Did she do that?"
She-Venom said inside her head, "Oops!"
Peter placed her back on the ground as she looked at Eddie and said, "She's still here, and I don't know how's she's a.... girl.. if Venom is... you know."
Eddie shrugged as he didn't know how to respond. He threw himself down on the couch and asked, "You guys don't by any chance own some chickens do you?"
Peter and Nat glanced at each other confused shaking their heads.
Eddie said, "Well, for starters we're going to need two whole chickens... One for me and one for her, and lots of chocolate."
Nat waived her finger saying, "No, no, no! I'm not feeding this bitch inside of me", then receiving a smack from a textured hand sneaking it's way from behind her.
Nat breathed in heavily and looked at Eddie, "Fix this!"
Eddie threw his hands up, "I don't know anything about that... This is a Venom problem."
Nat could feel a sudden pull for rage as she lunged towards Eddie, but feeling Peter wrap his arms around her waist pulling her back.
She growled with two voices echoing out of her, "Let me go!"
Nat turned to look at Peter and as Peter's face dropped seeing the black veins resurface on her face.
He held her by the shoulders and said, "I know you're mad... but you need to calm down before she makes an appearance."
Nat felt the disgusting feeling of She-Venom creeping out of her back as she smiled at Peter saying, "Appearance made."
Peter looked at the creature slightly fascinated as he asked, "How is that even possible?"
Nat crossed her arms as she frowned, "Can we focus? I want her out of me!"
She-Venom mocked her, "'I want her out of me!'"
Nat rubbed her head in frustration as she yelled, "I cannot, I can't do this today!"
She walked away from Peter and Eddie as she walked into her bedroom slamming the door. She collapsed to the floor laying on her back as she stared up at the ceiling.
She heard She-Venom ask inside her thoughts, "So, I can't take over the world and create an army?"
Nat grabbed a pillow from off her bed as she slammed it on her face beginning to scream into it. There was a sudden knock on the door as Eddie slipped in joining Nat on the floor.
He mumbled, "You know its not too bad..."
Nat glared at Eddie as he waived his arms in defense saying, "Listen, yeah it's a pain in the ass sharing your body with an unwelcome guest, but it's not half that bad... even though some days you wish you can choke them."
Venom growled, "I heard that."
Nat crossed her arms in frustration saying, "I just want a break for one day."
Eddie glanced at her as he noticed her bottom lip quivering. He sat up and said, "Okay, I'm sorry but I can't do the whole pitty a crying girl thing."
She-Venom grasped onto the door knob opening it wide open as both her and Nat said, "Then leave!"
Eddie frowned as he stood up to close the door again mumbling to himself, "And this is why I don't want kids.."
Venom chimed in, "We."
Now that Nat's hearing has been heightened she said, "We heard that."
The sudden ground began to shake beneath them as Nat quickly hopped onto her feet on attack mode.
She-Venom smiled within her saying, "Please, let me out to play!"
Nat yelled, "Shut up!"
As Eddie looked behind her and she rolled her eyes saying, "Not you, her!"
Peter quickly opened the door desperately looking for Nat.
Nat asked, "What? What's wrong?"
Peter opened his mouth to speak, but before they knew it the current room they were in had transformed into a different room.
Nat said, "What the hell."
Peter grabbed hold of Nat's hand in fear of losing her again. Eddie let out in shock, "Again?"
They all walked out of the room into a different living room. The whole entire apartment was different. They were an apartment that seemed a bit older and very unfamiliar. There eyes fell on a man who had stood up from the couch.
Peter's mouth flew open as he let go Nat's hand walking towards the man saying, "No way... Peter #2?"
The man turned around and said, "It's happening again."
