Six was not welcome in the tower. They were afraid of her newfound power she had not last had since they saw her.
As soon as she left the room and closed the door behind her she found herself outside. She turned quickly to look back at the tower.
"So it does control the rooms. It IS the tower. God.." she looked at Mono feeling quite guilty to be dragging him on the ground.
She had tried to lift him and that didnt go quite well. She pointed her fingers at him and tried to make the magic happen. Nothing. She tried again and only managed to make grunting noises from her mouth. She even tried so hard her face turned red cause she had been holding her breath in concentration.
She groaned before decided to try and pick him up someway again.
"Cmon tall lanky bitch let's go" she said trying to grab him.
She soon discovered it was very hard to pick up a fully limp person who was unconscious.
"Cmonnnn" she snapped at him even though he was unconscious.
"Please. God! Why is this so hard? I'm kidnaping you! Be better at being kidnapped!" She said sitting down and taking a little break.
Finally she managed to finally heft him up over her back and then tried to walk as far away from the tower as possible. But she soon found in about five minutes that it really really hurt to carry a very tall grown man on her back. She sighed putting him back down.
She leaned down to smack his face gently.
"Rise and shine."
Nothing.
"I got eggs and bacon"
Nothing.
She stared down at him dissatisfied. "Did I kill you?" She asked smacking his cheeks to try and wake him.
"If you dont wake up I'm gonna smack those other cheeks and you'll be in for a surprise you seem like the type to like that"
Nothing.
"WAKE THE FUCK UP" she yelled.
Nothing.
"Oh my god hes dead?!" She said turning away and putting her hands over her mouth. "Oh my god I killed him."
After panicking she turned back around and smacked him hard. Nothing.
She felt for his pulse and it was still there, but faint.
"OH MY GOD YES! YES! the guy I betrayed and came back for and almost killed isnt dead yet!" She stopped rejoicing when she saw the weird looks from onlookers.
She laughed nervously and quickly hefted him over her shoulder halfway and continued on her way.
"You're heavy as fuck you know. If you dont wake up soon- well that's probably a good thing. God I'm talking to an unconscious person. This is how low you stoop huh? Yeppp" after a few more minutes she had to dump him on a bench to rest again.
She sat next him and waved to the people giving weird looks.
"Hey how's your day?" She asked one of them, pretending that this was normal.
She looked at him again, shaking him. "Wake the fuck up sometime. I look weird carrying you"
He didnt wake. So once again she found some strange way to carry him. She didn't too far before she dumped him on the curb with a groan.
She sat next to him on the curb.
"Mono. Monoooo" she shook him. "Wake up"
"Mono can you hear me? Mono! Mono!"
He finally stirred, his tired eyes opening slowly.
"Oh you came to..finally" she said sighing in relief.
"What?" He grumbled not even getting up. His voice sounded terrible.
"Hey I've..seen you before" he said looking at her. Six took a quick step back, incase he had remembered anything of the fight just now..or even his hatred for her.
"Pretty. Very..but tired..let me sleep..for now" he grumbled turning away on his side.
Perhaps he did not remember. But that was indeed a good thing. She didnt know why she cared about the man who had just tried to end her but she did so so terribly.
"Mono you're delirious you have to get up please listen to me." Six said begging him.
"No..no, sleep..no time for that no time for mono" he grumbled trying to go back to sleep.
"No! No sleep not here. You cant sleep here Mono. Cmon get up" she said grabbing his arm and trying to heft up the tired man, though he did not budge.
"Please lady...I need..sleep" he begged her crawling close to himself in a ball and groaning terribly in pain.
"Look at me! Look at me!" She grabbed his face forcing him to look. She could see that he recognized her, see on his face how much pain he was in, how sad and tired he was. It almost made her cry.
"You have to get up..please" she said trying to lift him again.
He groaned in pain louder, coughing quite a bit, sickly with a sour expression on his face.
"Sit up cmon. You have to walk. It's a miracle I managed to drag you here." She said lending him her other hand and helping him.
She was so glad he didnt have the energy to remember or to be angry.
"Where are we going?" He asked, coughing a bit as Six helped him up, letting him lean on her for support. It felt great to feel his touch again. Even if it had to be like this.
"I dont know yet..but we cant stay here.." she said looking around at the dark gloomy streets, the bare minimum of people loitering around and the stench of rain hung in the air. Well it always did.
She dragged and hassled Mono along, wondering the whole time why she was truly doing this. She trudged on with him until finally spotting an inn.
She hassled him in and into a room, letting him take the only bed. Even though he was so seething with anger at her, she couldnt help it. She felt not even an ounce of angry with him.
She just wanted to be by his side. At least she was again for a time.
He passed out on the bed and she sat on the edge, like a parent worried for their child and gently petted his curly messy hair. Not minding any blood or sweat in it.
They had had a tough day. A bad day to say the least. She looked down upon him, his face wasnt relaxed, even as he slept he flinched in pain.
What had she done to him? She knew she didnt mean to..
Eventually she had moved away from him and sat on the sketchy musty fold out chair in the corner of the room. The only company she had was the few roaches that peeked out from under the stained disgusting wallpaper and the flies buzzing at the ceiling fan lights.
This room was nothing close to beautiful but you get what you pay for.
Six sat thinking so many thoughts. Alone with herself and a sleeping Mono for a few hours.
But soon her eyes grew heavy too. But she didnt want to sleep. She heard banging on the walls and the faint moans of some late night hooker.
And most of all she was scared of when Mono woke up. What would he think?
Her eyes grew heavier, too hard to keep open, her vision blurring and before she knew it she had fallen asleep.
....
"Argh...where am i?! What is this?!"
Six awoken to Mono sounding quite angrily and trying to heft himself out of bed, groaning quite a bit and grunting angrily, while cursing under his breath.
She didnt know what time it was but they had slept long enough for Mono to be sane again and back to old angry self.
"No! Dont get up you have to rest."
"What did you do to me?! Where the fuck am I woman?" He griped trying again to get up.
"Mono lay down" she tried coaxing softly. "We are at an hotel. Please calm down."
"Calm down?! Calm down?! You want me to calm down?! I dont know where we are and I'm with you!" He said almost managing to get up before falling back to the bed, crying out in pain.
"I know I know...I almost killed you but uhm I brought you back! Surprise!" She said painfully awkwardly, patting his chest.
"Get your hands off me" he grumbled bitterly.
"So we are staying here until I'm sure you still wont die!" She said stepping away.
Mono groaned rubbing his eyes. "What the fuck did you do to me?! Where did you learn how to do that?!"
"A lot of things changed after- ... yeah"
