𝓭𝓮𝓼𝓬𝓻𝓲𝓹𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 - it was the thing that jensen ackles youngest sister, paisleigh, never ever wanted to reveal to anyone privately let alone through a song she had written on the stage at a supernatural convention after she had spotted her abusive ex who was supposed to be in custody for an awaiting court date. she had been abused, not just physically but mentally and sexually as well as raped by her now ex-boyfriend and it was the first time that her older brother had been told of the news.

Paisleigh Ackles was on stage with her older brother Jensen, her two best friends Jared and Misha when out from the corner of her eye, she spotted the singular person that was a. not supposed to be allowed to step a single foot inside of this convention centre and b. the boy who always told her that he missed her, only to realise that he only missed the way she let him hurt her.
"...Pais...Paisleigh," She jolted as she heard her brothers voice and felt his arm jab her hard, making her look up quickly, breaking her out of her subconsciousness
"Hmm? Sorry, wh-what did I miss?" She spoke up softly as she tried to find the fan that was at the microphone stand as they waved at her as she smiled her best and waved back
"Paisleigh, I was just wondering how your relationship is going if-if only you want to mention it as you've started taking down the photos of you and him off of your feed so, is-is everything okay?" The fan shyly asked as Paisleigh couldn't help the grateful smile on her face as the fan decided to not utter his name as her shoulders slightly relaxed even though she could clearly still see the said ex loitering casually in the back of the room
"Umm, I--"
"--Yeah, Paisleigh, how are you two going? You don't fawn over him like you used to," Jensen didn't mock his little sister, he felt genuinely worried because she was always fangirling about her boyfriend to everyone but, this time, she wasn't
"Uhh, we-well, to answer your question, I honestly think it would be better if I sang it as it's something that I haven't told anyone..." Paisleigh shyly trailed off as Jensen cocked his head to the side, he and Paisleigh always told each other everything so what was this new piece of information that she had to sing to tell him?
"...If-if that's allowed, that would be perfect, Paisleigh!" The fan who couldn't have been any older than seventeen smiled shyly as the drummer and guitarists of Louden Swain nodded their heads at each other before at Paisleigh as she stood up
As she started singing the song that she herself had written, her ex, Zac, started sweating out of fear because after so many months, nearly a year, what was only their secret was finally going to be publically released in front of her brother.
Jensen, Jared and Misha couldn't help but be confused but were all lowkey digging the song that their very talented sister had written and done all on her own.

I bet it won't change the past? What did that mean, Jensen, furrowed his eyebrows and cocked his head to the side as he watched his sister sing fantastically about the story that she had never told anyone that was about her relationship with her (who they still thought was her boyfriend) ex Zac?
Paisleigh nervously looked behind, over her shoulder, to see how Jensen, Jared and Misha were reacting and, she knew straight away that Jared and Misha had an idea of what she was referring to and, it killed them inside. Yet, she let out a breath of air knowing that her older brother, Jensen, was still confused as ever and knowing that he was still confused made her safe as if she knew that he knew that Zac was in the audience with the knowledge of what he had done to his sister, Zac wouldn't even be standing up right now and watching this.

This was when Paisleigh closed her eyes in fear as that was when it slowly started clicking in Jensen's head at all the ideas of what she could be singing about in regards to hers and Zac's relationship. However, it wasn't until Paisleigh got to the chorus when everyone in the room, including J2M, Louden Swain and the audience finally understood as to what she was singing about and, it wasn't a quiet and un-obvious realisation either. Paisleigh heard multiple loud gasps of realisation ripple throughout the crowd and the anxiety it gave her was through the roof.

Hearing his little sister sing all of this gave Jensen the worst feeling in his stomach as he started to come to the realisation as to why he hadn't been hearing her talk about Zac anymore. It clicked in his head finally that this entire (almost) year that Zac and his little sister had been dating that he was abusive. The thing that knotted Jensen's stomach tighter than anything was the fact that he didn't even think to question the way Zac's attitude was always changing depending on the people he and Paisleigh were with. As, Jensen started to realise the way Zac was an absolute sweetheart when he was around the Ackles' family but as soon as Zac and Paisleigh had to leave, Zac would turn his attitude on its head and would instantly act like a prick, almost like how John Winchester treated Sam Winchester. And, it made Jensen's body crawl that it had taken him until this moment here, his sister singing this song about the survival of her abuse that he realised what was happening to his little sister.

Just watching how the entire Supernatural family was reacting to Paisleigh's song of relationship abuse made Zac feel like that he would soon have to make a run for it as it had now been made aware to Cliff and the other wranglers and security guards that he had managed to slip them and find his way into the convention. He knew that legally, he could get an even bigger jail sentence for breaching the restraining order from Paisleigh but, at that moment he had snuck in, Zac didn't even care, he just wanted to see the girl he abused but still loved at one stage on a convention stage doing the thing she loved the most with her family.

It was very obvious with the way Paisleigh was singing her song that she had enough of the way she was being treated by Zac. She hated the way that she was demanded to be a certain way and to look a certain way just to appease her boyfriend only to then be told that she wasn't trying hard enough. She was done with being his play toy and being disrespected just because she was an actor and the younger sister of Jensen Ackles. She didn't deserve to be treated like a rag doll because of her status in life as a celebrity.

Then, after an entire year of hiding, pictures came up on the projectors showing the abuse that she had gone through at the hands of her own ex-boyfriend as she also showed the ones on her arms that were still very much visible. Just seeing those images on the screen made Jensen choke on his own saliva as tears poked his eyes as the wind was almost knocked out of him at the same time. He couldn't fathom the pain, the fear, the tears she cried, the uncertainty of ever being believed, the number of times she was stripped naked without her consent. He just couldn't believe that Zac, the boy who Jensen played matchmaker with for his little sister, was so capable of all of this shit that he was seeing on the screens and his sister's arms. Jared had never been so disgusted and mad in his entire life until this moment right here. How could he have let all of this abuse go unnoticed, right underneath his nose? His tears of anger and frustration pooled in his eyes as he clenched his jaw so he wouldn't a. lash out to the boy who he could now clearly see and b. break down into his tears of anger and frustration in front of every single person in the convention centre. And, Misha? He was in tears from the start as he was the first one to realise what she was singing about without even needing the chorus to tell it for him. He was shaking his head in the devastation that, just like Jensen and Jared, he had just let it happen in front of him the last year and now even question as to what was going on behind the closed doors of Zac and Paisleigh's relationship that at the time, everyone thought was a fairytale.

It was so obvious to everyone in the convention room that Paisleigh was done with keeping her mouth shut and having to constantly put up a front even when she wasn't in Vancouver and in front of the camera filming for Supernatural. She felt trapped in her own relationship because even away from the cameras, she had to play a character that wasn't her and she hated it. She wished she was strong enough earlier on so she could've left but, it was like she was trapped in the relationship with no way out until now.

The energy in the room was intense as it was coming up to the moment where Paisleigh was finally going to expose Zac in front of everyone in the room and it made her smile like the Chesire Cat because she knew that finally, she was going to be safe. Especially now that her older brother and best friends finally knew, they'd never let Zac even lay eyes on their precious Paisleigh anymore.

This was it. The moment in which she was going to point to him and have the screens zoom in on her rapist, abuser, ex-boyfriend and the boy who violated and ruined her in so many ways. He took away her virginity without consent, he took away her innocence just so he could get a giggle and a quickie, he took away the sparkle that used to shine through her blue/green eyes. He destroyed her just for the fun of it and now it was his turn to be exposed.

Paisleigh was raging mad, she couldn't believe that Zac had the audacity to even show his face at the convention where he knew that at some stage, she would finally expose her dirty little secret that she had been hiding their entire relationship. Jensen was raging mad as, just like Jared and Misha, he had finally caught sight of the boy and had never been so furious in his entire life that he scared his own self. However, he couldn't tell if this was his Dean anger showing or his Jensen anger but, right now, it didn't matter as all that mattered to him right now was that he was going to murder that kid with no questions asked. And it seemed as if Misha and Jared were on the exact same page of Jensen's plan of action.

Finally, she could expose the pain and suffering she went through and humiliate the boy who had done it just by simply pointing him out as she sang the bridge of her song. She had enough of the gaslighting, the threats of him killing himself if she told anyone, the threats of him killing her if she spilt the beans. Despite knowing that he'd never even think to go through with his threats, it still scared her to even think about him committing suicide or killing her or her family had overridden her usual confidence of not believing anything that would come out of his mouth of gaslit lies. Jensen could almost sob out a cry of anger and frustration at what that stupid boy had done to his baby sister. So much so that Jared was standing behind him and Misha next to him so there was no way he could just slip of his seat, walk down those stage steps, walk to the back of the centre and beat the utter crap out of Zac for the reason of the pain, physical, emotional and mental, that that psychopath kid put his sister through. But, it was so painfully obvious that that was exactly what Jensen, Jared and Misha all wanted to do but, they knew they couldn't as, umm, hello? They don't want to be arrested for assault against a minor in a very public place so, they had to hold off for now that is. As just because they couldn't use physical touch to tell Zac how fucked he was to do that, there was no way that they weren't not going to give him a fistful in the way of words later on because they most certainly were going to do that.

Jensen only hoped and prayed at this moment, from that lyric that, the foul kid didn't try to do anything in the bed but, honestly, he was thinking that because he didn't want to believe in the fact that his little sister, the one who he vowed to his parents that he'd protect for all eternity, had now become a sexual harassment survivor statistic. He wanted to flip this entire centre upside down because of how mad he was that he couldn't protect his baby girl from losing her innocence and virginity in the utmost violent and violating way possible. She's so young, she isn't even eighteen yet but she was expected to give her boyfriend who wasn't even eighteen either, something so mature and special but without her consent, even a thought in the kids mind?
i don't deserve this, and for your next girlfriend, you need to treat her with respect!
And she was absolutely correct. Not only did she, Paisleigh not deserve this, but every single person, whether they are male or female that gets raped or is sexually harassed, don't deserve it. Consent is the most important thing that almost everyone is taught as a child yet when it comes to relationships and the need for sex, it's completely disregarded. As when they say "no" or, "not right now" or even, "i'm not sure, sorry", you are called so many slurs like "pussy", "scaredy-cat", "baby" and so many more under the sun just because you don't want to have sex and have someone in your pants purely because a. you don't want to right at that moment, b. you are not completely comfortable with that level of intimacy just yet or c. you just don't want sex period, no questions asked. However, some people, like Zac, just can't seem to understand that not every person's main priority in a relationship is sex. The one thing everyone should do in a relationship is respect because if that isn't the top priority then, what is? Rape? Violating your girl/boyfriend? Gaslighting them? Abusing them? If you can't respect your partner simply because they don't want to be raped because they don't want to have sex with you, then there is something dangerously wrong with you and it needs to be addressed and it needs to be fixed.

At that one lyric, so many young girls, men, ladies, stood up and honestly, it didn't just break J2M and Paisleigh's hearts but, it also gave them a weird feeling in their stomach of pride that so many people finally were confident enough to also stand up and say that they were ready to be heard and believed. Paisleigh smiled wickedly, just like big brother Jensen at Zac who was now finally getting escorted out now that Cliff had gotten the police who were called earlier on in safely. Giving him a cheeky wink and wave made J2M giggle alongside the audience as this was the first time in ages that Paisleigh was this confident and, it was something they loved and had missed so dearly.

The crowd by this point were in cheering hysterics for the young Ackles as she couldn't wipe the smile off of her face. Finally, after so long, everything she had lost due to Zac, she was now receiving back by the people who truly loved her for her. That loved her for the fact that she did want to wait until marriage to lose her virginity, become a mom after getting married and not before, they loved her for just wanting to be a child for as long as she could before she had to lose it because someone wanted to grow up too quickly and not give her time.
and for the boys, who don't care who they destroy, told us "no" was not a choice, you cannot silence our voice. no man can demand our bodies, our spirits, our love.
This line really made the crowd go crazy once again! Even the men (who weren't a lot of anyway) agreed because, it was such a truthful statement that, some boys just don't give a single fuck about the girl that he's just taken their virginity from. He doesn't care how badly he just hurt a girl. He doesn't care that she told him multiple times that "no" was her answer but was still ignored because it wasn't a choice. Paisleigh's and all of the survivors who stood up voices would never, ever be silenced again.

Paisleigh had enough of being treated like some plaything that was only pulled out for him to look good for his friends and family as well as her own family and friends and then only to be thrown back into the closet of abuse and sexual harassment when they were behind closed doors. The moment she stopped singing and her backing track ended, she was ready for the tight, protective hug that was going to come from Jensen, Jared and Misha and, a man she had been ready for it for a while now.
"I'm so proud of you for finally telling us baby girl!" Jensen mumbled out tearfully as he held tightly onto his younger sister as she smiled with relief as she nodded her head as it rested on his chest
"I am too," She smiled with relief as she saw Zac get cuffed and a hard chat with the same two officers who originally arrested him the first time they were called as Jensen also saw what was going on and smiled too
"I think it's time I matchmake you with Jared's on-screen son from Walker!" Jensen nudged which made Paisleigh giggle
"Kale Culley? I would've said Gavin Casalegeno but, Kale's a sweetie as well, I guess that could work..." Paisleigh smiled as she caught eyes with Keegan, who Jared had invited to the SPN Convention as they waved at each other
"...I-I wasn't serious but o-okay, th-that's okay too!" Jensen trailed off as the siblings moved out of the hug as Paisleigh ran off to hug Keegan as he scoffed at his little sister as Jared stood next to him
"I agree with Paisleigh, I think Kale, Gavin and the rest of the Walker cast would be a good new breath of fresh air for her. Don't you think so too, Jens?" Jared smirked as Jensen chuckled and nodded his head slyly as they watched the light exude from the girl as Keegan didn't even think to let her out of the hug that they were in as they laughed together as J2 watched from afar
"Yeah, I agree. It would be nice, especially seeing as we'll be in Austin anyway. No more flying to and from Canada, just, home in Austin with the blessing of coming home straight away," Jensen smiled as he tilted his head to the side in affection at the happiness that was slowly but surely coming back into his sister's soul and physicality
"Yeah, home, where she belongs," Jared smiled as the fans slowly started to filter out of the convention room as the panel had since ended after Paisleigh's performance had
"Away from him," Jensen responded as Jared nodded his head in agreement
