Obito woke up with a start.
Those dreams. Why am I having them right now? That too after meeting that Kurianagi! What's wrong with me? Obito thought as he went back to sleep only for the light of the sun to enter the windows.
What the hell?! Its morning already? Guess its not in my position to complain. Obito mused as he got up and changed into his uniform from his nightclothes which had trees printed all over it.
His eyes suddenly widened and he started moving around in a frenzy manner. He took off the cloak from his body, almost tearing it into pieces during the process.
Quickly grabbing his mask, he started shouting for help in a childish voice.
Must keep up the act, even though it itches a lot. Obito thought as he continued to itch his body while shouting in an unmanly scream which woke up the whole population of Amegakure.
A few moments later
"Are you ok?" Konan asked with her voice filled with concern as she looked Madara come out of the shower.
"Whew! Much better." Obito said as Konan applied some paste on his back where the itching started.
"One more thing, Pain has called you to his office." She said as she turned, smiled and left.
As he saw Konan leaving, a blush formed on his cheeks and he started thinking perverted thoughts.
I wonder how her lips would.... No. You have no business with her, Obito. Man up. Obito thought as he left the room, unaware that a man was looking at the whole interaction.
Well, that was not how it was supposed to turn out. He was supposed to suffer for a few hours but instead I made myself as a matchmaker! Noka thought before his lips twisted into evil smile. At least, it gives me an opportunity to use Konan as hostage whenever the time serves right. Yes! That's it. After all, Madara sama ordered me to make his life a hell. But he didn't mention whether it should be harmful pranks or.....painful memories.
"OI!" Noka jumped from the shrillness of the voice. Turning around, he saw that it was Black Zetsu.
"Stop daydreaming and Pain sama has called you." Zetsu said.
"Ahem! I apologize. But why did Pain sama call us?" Noka asked in a curious manner.
"Because he has got a new teammate for you." Zetsu said with a grin.
"Understood."
A few minutes later
"Noka Kurianagi." Pain said as he stared the man in an unimpressed manner. "Here is your new teammate, Tobi."
"Tobi is a go...." Obito stopped emitting childish voice as he stopped in his tracks.
"YOU! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" He shouted in his Madara's voice.
Silence.
Turning towards Pain, he pointed towards Noka and asked "What's that bastard doing here?"
"He is your new teammate. I believe that the two of you have already met. I believe that you will get along nicely." Konan interjected.
"Nicely? Are you kidding me? That bastard managed to give me a death threat the first we met." Obito said as he tried not to raise his hands in an exasperated manner.
"Maybe. But both of you have the same personality. Both of you wear masks. So I believe that both of you will get to know each other very well." Konan pointed out, as Obito stayed silent.
Somehow, he felt that nothing was about to go well. He needed to be careful. Really careful.
Looking towards Noka, he sighed and said "FINE! BUT DON'T EXPECT ME TO SHAKE HANDS WITH HIM AND HELP HIM."
I have a feeling that something will go wrong soon and I don't understand why. Obito thought for what was like 6 times for the day.
"And don't expect me to come to help you." Noka said.
"At least there is something we can both agree upon." Obito remarked.
"Your first mission for the day is to hunt...." Pain went on to give the information which the author thinks is quite irrelevant to the plot of the story.
A few moments later
"...."
"What's wrong?
"....."
"Seriously, you are freaking me out with that look."
Obito sighed as he continued to look Noka.
"I have done many wrong things in the past which includes releasing the Nine Tails on Konoha and being responsible for Bloody Mist which is still taking place in Kirigakure. So, I really don't know any individual's name whom I have wronged. Maybe, this excludes Naruto but that's not the point. I want to know why are so fixated on hating me? For example, the yesterday's meeting and the prank which you played on me." Obito said.
"Sorry, I cannot tell you." Noka said, with Obito sighing in exasperation.
"I don't want to take it in the hard way."
"Then don't. But just stop staring me in that way." Noka said.
"Nope." Obito replied as he continued to glare Noka.
"Then, I have to conclude that you are a gay. No offence to the gay community."
"I am not a gay." Obito said as he shook his hands in a frantic manner.
"Great to know. I was worried that you might..... you know what? I am not saying that." Noka said.
"Wait. Is it Konan?" Obito asked
"Why would you think that?"
"Because I felt you emitting KI after she left the room."
"I might also be a woman."
"Then you might also be lesbian." Obito said with a mischievous grin.
"I have no romantic feelings towards Konan. And that's final."
Obito frowned at the lack of his/her response. But he decided consider Noka as a man for now for his own convenience.
Its going to be a long day. Obito thought as he kept up the pace with Noka.
Kakashi: The reason for the personality of Noka is that Shay wants to steer away from the concept that the villains had to be emo and cold to be popular.
Obito: Yeah! This idea came while he was looking through the comments of some video.
Kakashi: That does not mean that Noka's personality will not be cold in the future.
Obito: And regarding ObiKonan scene, Shay believes that it would work out perfectly in this book. Its also because Shay wants to focus this book on rare pairings which includes Naruten and the one which I mentioned just now.
Kakashi: But this does not mean that the women will just be emotional support in the story.
Obito: They will have their fair share of their pure badassery instead of only coming to save the protagonists and being shoved aside to be saved for the romance later in plot.
