We were now inside Ae's private plane heading towards our vacation spot which Ae didn't disclose to me stating that it was a surprise. I knew that I was going to have great fun while on vacation and will be returning with lot of sweet memories.
I leaned against Ae's arm and rested my head on his shoulder. "Are you sleepy?" Ae asked. "No.... I am just....." I didn't say anything further since he actually understood what I wanted to tell him. "What are you thinking? I am sure there is something running in your mind." He said.
"Ae...... Last time you were afraid of letting others know about me but that day, you took me out for a party. I mean, had everything fallen in place? Isn't there anymore danger?" I asked. "Well.... Since the incidence of fake posts, most of the people came to know about our relationship so I had to get the restraining orders for someone who would probably try to harm you. Since the legal procedure is already completed, I don't have to worry of taking you out. But yes, there will be guards around most of the time when we go to crowded places. As for now, you can let your worries subside since we are going to somewhere private and where you wouldn't be troubled. Just think about enjoying yourself and nothing else." He cleared.
I let out a sigh of relief knowing that I was safe being with him and we were going to enjoy ourselves. It had been quite a while that I have got to talk to him and also, something else was lingering in my mind. Those words that Zee had said – You haven't consummated your marriage.
Even though, our marriage was just because of a piece of paper, I felt disappointed about it. It felt like a harsh slap on my face when he said that. It wasn't that we were married like others but somewhere, it was legal that we were husbands.
"Baby, I have asked you to stop thinking." Ae said breaking the train of my thoughts. I turned to look at him and found him staring at me intensely. I smiled to him and snuggled closer to him while trying to let go off the thoughts that have been invading my mind.
I didn't even realize that I felt asleep until, I felt a light touched on my cheeks that woke me up. I opened my eyes to see Ae looking at me with a smile on his face. "Wake up.... We have reached...." he said while caressing my cheeks softly. I smiled to him and nodded in response and soon sat up stretching myself. Ae instructed the guards to move the luggage while I lazily left my seat.
I stepped out of the plane only to be greeted with the most beautiful site. The fresh and warm air blew past me making me close my eyes and breathe it really deep. I let out a sigh while I made my way towards Ae who was busy instructing the guards. As I was about to reach, he turned to me and extended his hand forward. I placed my hand in his while he started walking. "Ae, where are we?" I asked looking around the place. "Bali......" he replied and I just wanted to jump in happiness. I wanted to visit this place so much and was always dreaming about it. I can't wait to see where we were going to stay.
Soon, we were sitting in the car and heading to our destination, the place where we were going to stay. After spending around 15 minutes inside the car, the door was finally open revealing a large building.
I stepped out taking in the view, all awestruck due to the mesmerizing beauty. I almost forgot to move and Ae had to nudge me. Feeling like someone really silly, I scratched my head before following Ae inside the house. I should have known that he would have booked a luxurious house to stay.
The guards carried in all the luggage while I followed Ae inside the house. We explored the placed for a while before Ae opened the door of the bedroom and walked in. "Pete, this is your room." He informed. My room? And where is he going to sleep?
"I'll be in the other room if you need anything." He said and then walked out of the room. I flopped down on the bed a bit disappointed since I thought he was going to sleep with me. It's not that I can't ask him but I feel too shy and then, I am also worried about what he'll think of me.
I looked around the spacious room, cursing internally before finally walking into the bathroom to get fresh. I walked out of the bathroom planning of having something since I was feeling a bit hungry. As I approached the kitchen, I heard Ae speaking. I made my way towards him and saw him busy on the phone. And here I am thinking that we are on a vacation!!
He turned around and saw me and gesture me to come close. I nodded like an obedient child and walked towards him. He disconnected the call and then smiled at me while speaking, "My cousin stays here nearby so he'll be coming for a visit."
So... He was speaking to his cousin. I just hummed in response and then turned to leave. I was really upset with him sleeping in another room. "Is everything alright Pete?" Ae asked making me stop in my tracks. "Yes.... I think I need some rest." I said and then walked towards my room.
Ae is so mean. I want him and he is making me sleep in another room. I walked into my room and shut the door before heading towards bed. I threw myself on the mattress and pulled the duvet to cover my body before closing my eyes allowing to drift myself into dreamland. I was very very very upset.
I didn't know how long I had been sleeping but I was finally woken up by the light touches on my cheeks and looked up to see Ae sitting beside me on the bed and trying to wake me up. I frowned and then moved to sit up.
"Are you not happy coming here? Did you want to go somewhere else?" Ae asked. I could hear the concern in his voice so I hurried to explain. "Umm... Err... N-No.... I wanted to come here from so long.. It's just that you are sleeping in the other room." I replied.
"Ooh!! Why didn't you say it earlier? I would have asked the guards to shift your luggage in that room. Pete, you should tell me what you want. It's not that I always understand everything." He said. I just nodded in response and looked down at my hands.
"Come... Let's have food... Meanwhile, I'll ask the guards to shift your luggage in the room." He said. I was delighted after hearing those words and immediately got out of bed. I could see him shaking his head while he looked at me.
He ushered me towards the dining room where the table was already set. He made me sit down while he occupied the chair beside me. I was all excited and happy since I was able to tell Ae what I wanted. At least he understood my thoughts.
After meal I returned back to bedroom thinking of calling Peak and then noticed that there was only my luggage inside the room. Where is Ae's luggage? I looked around the room trying to find his bags that weren't present.
I walked out of the bedroom scratching my head while thinking where he kept his luggage. "Ae, where are your bags?" I asked while walking into the hall where Ae was doing some work on laptop. "I asked the guards to move the luggage. So, you can sleep in that room, I'll sleep in your room. You can take a nap now. I'll wake you up for dinner." He said.
Seriously Ae?
I walked back towards the bedroom while stomping my feet in anger. Why is it so hard for him to understand what I want?
I sat down on the bed while hugging the pillow and then looking out of the window. It would have been much better if that day the phone hadn't rang. Why Ae?? Why don't you understand what I am trying to say? Is my vacation just going to go thinking about how to tell him what I want? Doesn't he feel the same? Doesn't he want me?
I was now feeling upset while thinking about all the time with Ae. When we were at home, Ae used to be around me most of the time. I mean, he is there now too but it was different back then. We have gone on dates and also we have done few things but now..... It's like the romance died at a very young age. I want to cry......
I was lost in my thoughts, cursing and crying over the loss of some private moments when I heard a knock on the door. I turned my head towards the sound and saw Ae standing there leaning against the door frame.
"Pete.... My cousin is here for a visit. If you are feeling fine then you can come and meet him." Ae said. I hummed in response and then placed the pillow aside and got up to follow Ae out of the room. I was still in my grumpy mood but it wouldn't look nice if I don't greet them.
When I entered the living room, I saw two people sitting on the sofa. One looked all bubbly and happy while the other had poker face. They looked contrasting to each other. "Tin, meet Pete. And Pete this is my cousin, Tin and his boyfriend, Can." Ae said introducing us to each other. I smiled at them and greeted them politely.
"Hi Pete!! You look cute." Can complimented. I blushed and then said a soft thank you to him. "Hello Pete, it's nice to finally meet you." Tin said extending his hand forward. He sounds more like a businessmen rather than Ae's cousin. I just smiled and made a small handshake.
"Tin~.... You don't have to show that attitude. He is family. So, keep that poker face aside." Can nagged. I could see Tin sigh and then look at me with a warm expression. Sure this little fellow knew how to make his man agree to his words. I could see the way Tin's expression change when he looked at the person sitting beside him.
"So, brother, it's been long that you have visited us. How come you planned of coming here this time?" Tin inquired. "Well, Pete wanted to visit this place from long so I thought of surprising him. Also, it's a vacation break so I thought this was the best opportunity to bring him here." Ae said.
He knew that I wanted to visit Bali? How come? Sure my loose mouthed friend would have told him. I should interrogate Peak thoroughly for this. Actually, I am regretting now coming here. At home, at least I got to spend time with Ae and here, it feels like he doesn't have time for me.
"Pete , would you like to go out? I mean, I can show you around." Can offered. I turned my head to look at Ae and then Can spoke further, "Pete don't look at him. I am the one declaring that you are going out with me and no one is allowed to raise an objection." I looked at the two men who sat with pursed lips as if admitting defeat against the one talking.
"So, it's decided then. I am taking you out and we are leaving right now." Can said getting up. I was a bit stunned with how much friendly he was but since Ae didn't objected, it meant, Can is really a nice guy. I nodded in response and soon got ready to leave.
