A month had passed and i had given up hope.. i just simply stopped going, it saved me from the feeling of loss when he wasn't there.
I cancelled the water bill and electricity, no point in paying if im going to be gone soon. Not like i even have that much money either way. After i did that i wrote a message on paper and stuck it in a drawer, no one will come to check on me anyway so theres no point putting it where someone will see it.
I went on my last walk, to the bridge thats across the river.
As i walk up to the edge i hear something next to me. I turn my head and look into his eyes.. the man i used to talk to on the bench.
"its dazai" he says
"what..?"
"my name, its dazai" he whispers
He turns his head and smiles slightly. just after that i feel something on my hand and glanced down.. Oh, its him. I accepted his small gesture and looked ahead again.
He nodded and i took my last breath as we jumped.
