Vi placed us both down on the floor in an alleyway
"Will you guys be okay? I'll be right back." Vi assured us and ran to the gate
"Okay" Cait mumbled
enforcers ran past us and Vi quickly pinned herself up against the wall to stay out of sight. although her pink hair made her a noticeable target in the crowd.
I checked to see if the blue crystal was still in the bag and my heart sank when I found it to be missing.
"Oh no...It's gone," I said
"What?" Vi piped up
"It was all for nothing," Cait told with wide eyes
All I saw was Vi looking into the far distance with fear in her eyes.

Time skip
"Who lives here? Y/n?" Vi asked as we climbed through the window of Caitlyn's room
suddenly the door bangs and Mrs kiramann cocks her gun leaving us three girls with wide eyes
"Caitlyn! Oh. We were so worried. Thank goodness you're safe!" her parents hugged her
"And Y/n, we wondered where you had gone off to sweetheart." Spoke Mrs kiramann
"Oh, and you found a stray." she looked over to Vi
"This is Vi. She's from the undercity. Turns out Y/n's from there too." Caitlyn explained
"So I see. Could we have a word, Caitlyn? In private. Do you mind waiting in here y/n for a bit?" Mrs kiramann escorted her daughter out of the room leaving me and Vi alone again.
Vi walks over to me asks "May I?" she motions towards my bloodied shirt and I nod. She lifts it up a little and notices a large slash on my upper stomach
"We'll clean this up later okay? I'll have to persuade Caitlyn to get you a spare room to rest for a while. You can't go on like that y/n." she tells me
"I'm sure her parents won't mind about staying the night for a bit. They've caught us many times sneaking into Caitlyn's window so this isn't the first time" I chuckled and I could've sworn I saw a bit of jealousy on Vi's face.
We laid on Caitlyn's bed staring into each other
"so you had a thing with Caitlyn?" she questioned me.
"For a while actually. We never made it official or anything but we flirted a lot with each other and we slept with each other a few times I guess. But I suppose I never really got over-" I was cut off by the sound of the door opening
"We'll present our case to the Council tonight," said Caitlyn and walked over to us
"You did all this yourself? Without even going down there?" Vi had turned to lay on her stomach now looking at the large map on the floor Vi sighs "And I thought Powder could get obsessed." she scoffs
"What happened to her, it's not your fault." Caitlyn laid on the bed with us leaving the three of us in different positions on the mattress
"When my parents were still alive... me and Powder used to share a bed like this. Except, maybe, half the size. We played a game where we pretended to be bigger and bigger monsters. So she would say, "I'm a slug monster with venom for ooze." And I'd say, "Well, I'm a slug-eating crab with razor spikes." Sometimes, I... I'd get carried away and she'd get scared. I didn't want her to start crying and wake my parents up, so... I pretended to chase my own monsters away. I'd say... "No monster's gonna get you when I'm here." Then a real monster showed up. And I just ran away. I left her."
Vi looked down with a sad expression. I reached for her face and moved my hands to her hair all the way down to her cheek. before I could pull away she held my hand there and looked up at me with her round eyes
"It's not your fault Vi." I told her "you had every right to be mad. you were patient with her the whole time...you just snapped" I tried to comfort her
"I think Y/n should get some rest...we have a guest room up the hall. you need any help with fixing the wound?" asked Caitlyn
"It's fine. stuff like this happened with a guy who took care of us I got it covered" Vi helped me up from the bed and took me out of the room. I waved to Caitlyn before the door began to close.
Time skip
"Lift up your shirt," she said softly to me
I slowly did so due to the stinging on the upper part of my stomach and because the blood had stuck to my wound from my shirt making me hiss.
I was now faced to face with her. Finding myself only in my bra and my trousers I've been wearing for 2 days now.
Vi grabbed the wet cloth from the China bowl and started lightly dabbing it on my upper stomach whilst also keeping her soft hand on my waist for support
I smiled at her "Remember I used to clean your wounds for you when we were younger? You got into so many fights back then...your hands were so bruised" I grabbed her other hand and rubbed her knuckles gently "you still haven't changed" I smile weakly.
"Now things have changed." She continued to lightly clean the cut.
She grabbed the bandages Caitlyn had left for me to the side of her and wrapped them around my torso. She then asked me to take off my bloodied trousers giving me a comfortable pair of clothes for the night. Once she was done she lowered me down on the spare bed and sat on the edge holding onto my hand.
She hesitated for a moment before speaking
"Y'know, I had a huge crush on you when we were kids. All I wanted was to take you to one of those bakery's you were always going on about, you would always say how jam pasteries were the craze up in piltover. I never had the courage to ask you out. Funny I guess. I'm not afraid to stand up to a person twice my size but I'm terrified to even talk to a pretty girl about my feelings." and as she got up I kept my grip on her hand.
"I liked you too." I smiled
"Don't go, stay with me please..."

That's when everything felt like a fever dream as she climbed into bed with me and started kissing me all over my body. From my lips to my lower stomach. Her warm lips made me feel safe which made me want her even more.

"but I'm too comfortable" she had a small smile with her eyes shut "Caitlyn and the council can wait. Just a little longer?" she asked and I shook my head. she groaned again and we both got up and changed.
Time skip
The Councilor spoke "Three of my suppliers have said they intend to delay shipments until fall to give things "time to cool off."
Mrs Kiramman responded "We have greater concerns than a dip in profits. The Sheriff betrayed us. We need better information."
"We need to act. Before anyone else gets killed." Jayce looked at the room
"Perhaps Marcus was operating independently. What could anyone in the undercity offer him that he didn't have up here?"
"It's not what they offered him, it's what he had to lose." Caitlyn's voice echoed around the room.
"Councilors, my daughter has a unique insight into our situation." Mrs Kiramann conversed with the other councillors
"Thank you. Councillors, this is Vi and my friend Y/n. They were both born in the undercity. Even though we failed them in countless ways, both risked everything to show me what life is really like down there. People are starving, sick, ravaged by Shimmer. They live in constant fear of the coordinated efforts of violent crime lords. One man leads these efforts. Silco."
"We've done investigations of Silco. They yielded no such level of organization." The mechanical man told to us
"And who led these investigations?" Questioned Caitlyn
"What does this Silco even want from us?" implored Jayce
"He thinks the undercity should be independent. He's calling it the Nation of Zaun." I told the councillors
"What about these? Do you know who made them?" Jayce pulls a bomb with scribbles and drawings from under the round desk
"No, well uh..." Cait stammered and Vi pushed her aside
"Her name is Jinx," she murmured
"This Jinx has the Gemstone? Then we have to go in by force." Jayce declared
"That could trigger war," Mel stated
"But not all are bad down there! They're hungry families and civilians barely making another day." I tried coming up with a way to stop him from saying anything more
The Councilor mumbled "Hmph. Bad ones too."
Another Council spoke from afar "Even if we wanted to invade, they have Shimmer."
"We have Hextech." Jayce stood
"Oh yeah because magic is the answer to everything! I thought Hextech was not designed to be a weapon to our society," I shouted
Caitlyn then told him "What happened to you?"
"We've been talking about talking for weeks now." Jayce rested his arm on the top of his seat
"They're still cleaning the blood off the bridge. When do we say enough is enough?"
"Jayce, you don't know war. I do. It must be our last resort. There may be a diplomatic solution." Mel looked down
"She's right." A council agreed
"What? You want to negotiate with him?" Vi looked at them stunned
Mrs Kiramman explained, "It may be the only way to avoid further bloodshed."
"This is insane. Did you learn nothing? You can't talk to him! He hates you. Everything you stand for. He will never back down." She shouts
"Enforcers, please escort them out." The blonde Council demanded
"Forget it. I remember where your fancy damn door is." Vi began to walk off and I quickly followed after her
the rain pattered across the streets as I ran after Violet
Cait shouts "Vi! Wait! Wait! Where are you going?"
"I don't know. Back where I come from? Seems like that's what everyone up here wants."
"We can figure this out will you please stop walking away!" I put my arm on her shoulder
"We can't! This is how things are. How they've always been. I was so stupid to think it could change."
Caitlyn looked around "There must be something else we can do. Some other way. We'll make a new plan. We have to try."
"We tried. Okay? It wasn't enough. Topside and bottom. Oil and water. That's all there is." Vi had her head down low
"I'm coming with you." I searched for something else to say "I can't leave you alone again." I touched her hand but she pulled away
"What about what happed with us?" I muttered
"Your a part of piltover now y/n. It just Wasn't meant to be. Those are your people now"
I sighed "Your my people. That's never going to change" vi's body froze slightly at those words, you could tell it hurt to let her go.
"Do yourself a favour, Cupcake. Go back to that big, shiny house of Caitlyn's and just... forget me, okay? Maybe it was a mistake seeing you again"
and she left without another word
time skip
I paced the room back and fourth biting my nails
"Why does she push me away all the time. Especially with me? I'm the one who slept with her like an hour ago and I was the one who cared for not only her but her little sister when we were younger. I was practically a mother to powder for fucks sake!" I yelled
"Wait. you slept with her?" hearing that caught Caitlyn off guard
I walked around the room
"It's like she likes me one moment then the next moment she doesn't want anything to do with me. What am I doing wrong? Am I being too pushy? Am I a bad person?"
"Y/n! Calm down your overthinking all of this." Caitlyn took me back to sit on her bed and put a comforting arm around my shoulder. "Look just take a breath okay. Your angry and I get it I'm mad too but just please calm the fuck down. You'll wake my parents. Just go home and we'll talk about it tomorrow okay?"
I huffed and made my way out the window and quietly made it down to the bottom of the house.
I walked in the rain for a little while and thought a lot
Mostly about what could've been if I had just stayed with Vi that day. I would've been a prisoner but maybe we'd have something more than just a soft friendship?
I lay down on my bed and tutted to myself "So stupid" I rolled over.
"Yeah. Girlfriends right?" I heard a voice say before I felt a sharp pain on my head
