"He threw it over 700 meters!" Exclaimed the yellow and black lightning bolt haired boy.

Luna looked over to see that the rest of the class was looking at them, and began to grow a little embarrassed that she and Izuku were hugging rather tightly in front of them. Though it didn't seem like anyone cared, though they were all going crazy over Izuku's score with the baseball. But that didn't seem to matter to them, as the two green teens only focused on each other.

"You were amazing." She said quietly, a smile gracing her face as her cheeks burned bright red.

"O-oh, thank you! But I suppose that's only because you had your eyes on me." Izuku replied with the same smile and blush, his hands remaining tightly on her waist.

"Nice! He's finally showing us his full power!" Uraraka cheered as she held both her arms into the air.

Iida looked confused as he tapped his chin. "But his finger appears to be broken now. Just like in the exam. This Quirk is very odd." Luna became a little worried at the last sentence. Iida seemed like a smart guy; just how long would it take him to figure it out?

"It wasn't a very pretty throw." Aoyama commented simplistically, which made Luna giggle a bit.

The only person that didn't seem too excited about the new score was Bakugo himself. He was the only one who had a look of complete of utter surprise as well as anger. His mouth opened up like a codfish and his eyes were the size of dinner plates. He gritted his teeth and took of running towards the two teens, who still remained in their embrace. "HEY!" He yelled.

This caught the attention of the two crushing teens who turned their heads to Bakugo. They gasped upon Bakugo running towards them, his hand ready to release an explosion. "DEKU, YOU BASTARD, TELL ME HOW YOU DID THAT OR YOU'RE DEAD!" He ordered, coming closer to the teens until he was almost a few inches away.

All Izuku could do was scream loudly in fright while Luna pushed him back, her wings guarding him behind her and holding up her fists. "He doesn't have to say anything, you damn mutt! And if you wanna harm him, you're gonna have to go through me!" She shouted angrily, putting up her fists again and getting into a fighting stance.

"OH, I LIKE THE SOUND OF THAT, FEATHERS!" Before Bakugo could do anything, two gray strands of Aizawa's scarf wrapped around the blonde teen's stomach and his forehead. It was holding him back from touching either one of them. And as hard as Bakugo struggled, he was unable to be released.

Izuku peaked his head out from behind Luna's wings as he looked over at Aizawa in surprise. "Mr. Aizawa!"

Even Luna was surprised as she looked at the teacher, lowering her wings as well as her fists. "You saved us?" She asked in confusion.

"What.... Why the hell is your damn scarf so strong?" Bakugo asked through his gritted teeth as he continued to struggle from his hold.

"Because it's a capture weapon made out of carbon fiber and a special metal alloy." Aizawa replied as his hair stood up again and his eyes returned back to glowing bright red. He once again returned to being the authoritarian figure that Luna had heard about. "Now stand down! It'd be wise to avoid making me use my Quirk so much. It gives me serious dry eye."

"Too bad! That power is amazing!" All of the students, besides the three that were in front of Aizawa, said at the same time. Luna had to agree with them silently. But she supposed that all Quirks had to have a draw back. Like with her, she could only be in the air for so long before she started to feel sick. Her longest was around three hours, but she was hoping to reach for longer.

Aizawa quickly let go of Bakugo, his strands returning back to him and he returned back to his normal self. "You all are wasting my time now. Whoever's next can step up." He waved his hand uninterested as he walked away, returning back to his normal place.

Luna had to let out a sigh of relief as she looked at Izuku, taking his uninjured hand. "Come on, let's get back in line, okay?" She asked him cautiously.

"H-huh? Y-yeah, let's go." He agreed as the two walked together, managing to walk around Bakugo and back to the other students.

"Hey, is your finger okay?" Uraraka asked as she stepped over to the teens.

"Oh, yeah, it's fine. It only hurts a little bit... actually, a lot. But I'll just go to the nurse later and get it healed up." He responded to her with an awkward smile.

"I'll make sure to remind you, okay?" Luna said with a little smile, squeezing his hand to keep her word to him. Izuku only nodded, but he returned the hand squeeze - as if to let her know that her promise was agreed. And oh, how fast her heart was beating from that simple gesture.

And so, the rest of the exam went on. Luna made sure that Izuku was alright during the last parts of the exam, but she could tell that he was fighting through the pain in his finger. But they managed to swing by the sit-ups, the toe-touches, and the long distance run rather easily. All were pretty easy for Luna, although the long distance run was a pain because Aizawa told her that she wasn't allowed to use her wings.

But at the end of the exams, the twenty-one students all gathered in front of Aizawa. Some looked fine, but other seemed to be panting and groaning for some water. And Luna was half threatened to ask their teacher when lunch was. "Alright, time to give you your results. I've ranked you all from best to worst. You should probably have a good idea of your standing already. But I'll just pull up the whole list. It's not worth going over each individual's score."

Luna let out a small sigh and nodded. Although she remembered that the person who was ranked last was the person who Aizawa was gonna send home. And she was worried that it was going to be her or Izuku. Even though she did well on the tests, Izuku didn't do so hot in any of them expect for the baseball throw. Was it possible that he could squeak by with just that score alone?

Aizawa clicked a button on his phone and then showed a holographic score board with each student's name, ranking them from first to twenty-first. It seemed that every person searched for the name, including Luna - who looked through it as though her life depended on it. Eventually, she found her name at number five, squeezing between Iida and someone named Fumikage Tokoyami. She had to remember who that was.... Oh! That was the name of the guy with the raven head, and that strange bird shadow. He definitely seemed like a challenge, but he seemed pretty chill though.

"Oh good. Not my best, but I at least made it in the top ten." She told herself out loud to calm her nerves, trying to stop her heart from continuing its speeding pace, "What did you get, Iz-"

She gasped upon seeing Izuku's shocked and defeated face, his hands were shaking and his bottom lip trembled. "I.... I'm in last place. I failed." He whimpered out quietly, shaking his head in shame.

All Luna could hear was glass breaking. She gritted her teeth harshly as she growled. She stared at Aizawa, who remained with no emotion on his face. How dare he? How DARE HE?! Luna's wings, which she had forgotten to tuck away in her back, frizzled up angrily as she was about to walk towards him. But she was grabbed by Izuku's arm. "W-wait, Luna, no! It's alright! It was my own fault! I didn't work hard enough!" He yelled at her worriedly.

"Yes you did! You worked harder than anyone else! And you shouldn't be getting sent home because someone didn't believe that you could make it!" She yelled louder, which attracted a lot of attention from the other classmates - especially Aizawa.

"Luna, please!" Izuku continued, trying to stop her from injuring their teacher.

The older male sighed in annoyance as he turned off the hologram. "Hirose, you know me better than these other kids." He began, "So you should know that I always have something up my sleeve. So you should've guessed that I was lying. No one's going home."

Time seemed to stop as her jaw dropped as she stopped struggling. Even Izuku gave a confused sound. And they were thankful they weren't alone in their shock, because everyone excluding one of them was in pure surprise. Aizawa seemed to smile - or at least gave a strange attempt at smiling. "That was just a rational deception to make sure you gave it your all in the tests."

"WHAT?!" Luna and Izuku yelled at the same time, their jaws dropping to the floor.

"EXCUSE ME?!" Iida and Uraraka also yelled, which made Luna confused. Why were they yelling together? Unless they had something going on together...

"I'm surprised the rest of you didn't figure that out. I'm sorry. I guess I probably should've said something." Said the person who was not surprised. Luna turned her head and looked at them, seeing a girl with black hair and deep black eyes. Her hair was partially in a ponytail, except for one strand that was resting against her left eye. She figured that this must've been Momo Yaoyorozu, the girl who would make any inanimate object from her body. She was a pretty girl, and the one who came in first with the exam results.

"Yeah, you should have." Luna grumbled with a small glare, crossing her arms as Izuku continued to shake in shock. But she gently rubbed his back and tried to help him calm down with this gesture.

"Well, that was pretty nerve-wrecking, huh?" She heard the black haired boy with the strange smile ask to the spiky red haired boy.

"Nah, I'm always down for a challenge!" The red haired boy responded, his tone holding a lot of hope and drive in him. He seemed pretty confident, but in the nice way and not the Bakugo kind of confident.

"That's it. We're done for the day." Aizawa announced to the class as he began to walk away from the confused teenagers, "Pick up a syllabus in the classroom. Read it over before tomorrow morning."

So that was it? That was their first day of school? Didn't seem like a lot happened - at least for a normal school day. "Well, that was a lot to take in." She commented before turning her head to Izuku. She saw that he at least stopped shaking, "Are you alright?"

He had to exhale deeply before nodding. "Yeah, a bit. Im just surprised that that exam was all for nothing. But I am happy that I'm not going home. That means that I can continue my training here." He got back his determined look and smiled at her happily, "And that I get to be with you."

Luna blushed again and smiled with him, letting out a small laugh. "I'm glad! Because god knows what I would do if you left me and I was the only one here without someone to calm me down!"

That made Izuku laugh for a second before a voice interrupted them. "Midoriya." The two jumped and looked up, seeing that it was Aizawa. "Take this and go have the old lady fix you up." He held out a piece of paper to the greenette boy, "Things are gonna be tougher tomorrow when your actual training begins. Make sure you're prepared." He then looked down at Luna, "And don't go with him, Hirose. He can surely go to the nurse by himself without you escorting him." And with that final note, he truly began to walk away from the teens.

Luna scoffed a little and shook her head. "Okay, fine." She looked up at Izuku and her face went soft again, gently placing a hand on his arm. "I'll meet you after get out of the nurse's office, okay?"

"Yeah, okay. And don't worry, I'll be fine. I promise." He said to her with a gentle smile, which made her insides turn instantly to jelly.

"Hey, that's my line." She retorted back with a light giggle, "Don't go stealing my shtick now."

"I'm not, don't worry." He laughed with her before walking away with the piece of paper to the nurse's office, leaving Luna alone with these new faces and new people. Though unaware of the people that watched her closely and curiously. One of them being two new friends, and one being someone who didn't know how to properly show his emotions.

~After School~

The final bell rang for school to be let out as Luna and Izuku walked out of the building. Izuku now had a bandage around his broken finger, having been properly healed up by Recovery Girl herself. Although he groaned loudly and seemed to drag his feet along, while Luna walked standing up straight. "Ugh, I'm so tired." He whined.

"Me too. And very hungry." She responded, "Although, having been a very long day full of the many classes we are now taking and having been humiliated by that exam, I'd say today was a pretty good start to our school career!"

He rose an eyebrow in confusion. "You sound cheerful. Considering that you almost got into a fight with both Kacchan and Mr. Aizawa. And you had to shield me twice from both of them."

She shrugged. "Oh, I don't mind protecting you. And I don't mind having to take on both of them. Bakugo doesn't scare me even when he tries to, and I know Aizawa from when my mom was a hero. He also doesn't scare me. Although his tactics with having that 'rational deception' thing was a pain in the ass for me." She sighed, "And besides, you know that I would do anything for you, Izuku."

He flushed at that and scratched his cheek. "I know that, Luna. But you know that you can't always be around to protect me. If I'm gonna be a hero with you, I need to protect myself. And... there will be moments when I'll have to protect you. And I wanna make sure that I can save you the way you save me."

Luna would be lying if she said she didn't want to reveal her true feelings right now. But she remembered what All Might said. She had to chose the right time. So she only smiled down at him, not hiding the blush that remained on her cheeks. "I know, but until you gain control of your Quirk, I will be protecting you as best as I can. But, I won't lie, I look forward to seeing you protect me." She leaned down and gave him a small poke on the nose.

Izuku squeaked and gently rubbed his nose after. "H-hey! I'm being serious!"

Luna could only laugh before she felt someone tap her on the shoulder. "Excuse me." Came the clear and rather sophisticated voice of Iida himself.

The two green teens stopped walking and turned around, seeing him standing behind them. "Oh, hey there, Iida!" Greeted Izuku.

"Hey, Iida, what's up?" Luna asked curiously.

"I just wanted to come by and check on the pair of you." Iida explained before looking at Izuku first, "How's the finger doing?"

"O-oh, it's doing fine, thanks to Recovery Girl." He held up his bandaged finger to the pair of them. Though he was not going to reveal how embarrassing it was to have yet another awkward healing kiss from an elderly woman, even if it was her job.

"Ah, I see." The blue haired boy then turned to Luna, "How about you, Hirose, have you calmed down now since nearly scuffling with Mr. Aizawa and that Bakugo fellow?"

Luna laughed awkwardly. It seemed that she was already gaining a reputation for two things: Saving Izuku during the entrance exam, and her anger issues. Though she did ponder if she was also well known for being Hawks' niece and for her mother's career and death. But she would have to wonder that later. For now, she had to come up with a way to calm down her anger problems. When she was younger, she used to squeeze these little squishy fruits that would help her calm down. Maybe she should try using those again until she would calm herself down naturally. Lord knows this school didn't need another Bakugo on its hands.

"Oh, yeah, yeah. I'm okay." She told the taller boy, "I just have a not-so-nice history with Bakugo that causes me to get angry. And Aizawa's exam and lie about it meaning that someone would go home made me upset. Sorry if I scared you, or anyone else. I'm trying to work on my anger."

Iida nodded his head. "That's alright. You didn't scare me, just a bit concerned." He explained, "Though, I too was a bit concerned by Mr. Aizawa's approach to class. But I trust the school's judgement. U.A is the top program." He crossed his arms and shook his head, "But even so, lying is downright immoral."

"I agree with you on that. But I suppose that's just how he teaches. I guess we'll have to get used to it. Even if it is different." Luna responded and looked at the two of them with hope. They were about to continue walking before they were stopped again. But by a different voice.

"Hey! Wait up, you three! Are you going to the station? I'll join you guys!" Exclaimed a familiar feminine voice. The trio turned their heads to see Uraraka running over to them with a big smile on her red cheeked face. Luna couldn't help but chuckle at how excited and preppy she seemed to be.

"Oh, hey there!" Izuku called and waved her over to them.

"Oh, you're the infinity girl." Iida commented, though Luna swore that she could see the brightest shade on pink on his cheeks when he saw her. It caused her to wonder something strange, but she needed more proof.

Once Uraraka arrived, she nodded her head. "I'm Ochaco Uraraka! Let's see, you're Tenya Iida." She pointed to each person as she spoke, "You're Luna Hirose. And your name is Deku, right? Midoriya?"

""Deku"?" Izuku asked in shock. Even Luna was surprised. How did she know Bakugo's rude nickname for him?

"Uh, yeah, isn't that what Bakugo called you?" She asked in confusion, "During the fitness test. He called you Deku."

"Oooh! Umm. Well, my name is actually Izuku. Deku is just what he calls me to make fun of me." The green haired boy explained rather awkwardly, as if explaining this to someone who didn't know Bakugo was not something he thought would happen today.

"Let's just say it's not a very nice nickname whatsoever." Luna added in, "And when I try to correct him, Bakugo likes to give me the nickname 'feathers.' So in honor of that, I've taken to calling him 'hothead.' It's a whole big cycle of mean nicknames."

"That's unsportsmanlike." Iida commented, putting his left hand on his chin.

"Oh, I didn't realize that! I'm sorry." Uraraka instantly apologized, rubbing the back of her head.

"Hey, don't worry about it. You didn't know."
Izuku replied, waving his hands quickly.

"Yeah, it's okay. And besides, when Izuku becomes a hero, he can rub that nickname in Bakugo's face. And who knows?" Luna asked with a smile as she put a hand on Izuku's back, "Maybe you can use it as a hero name to show him how far you've come!"

Izuku gasped quietly and stared up at the winged girl with sparkles in his eyes. "Y-you really think so?"

"Oh, hell yeah, I think so!" She cheered and put her other hand in the air, "Deku could be the name of a hero!"

Izuku couldn't help but have his whole face burn bright red as he let out a shaky laugh. "Y-yeah, maybe, b-but let's not get ahead of ourselves, Luna!"

"Indeed. We must be heading home now. Unless we wish to get in trouble with the teachers for staying on school grounds after hours." Iida explained, "Let's get to the station before we get into trouble."

"I second that! Don't feel like getting in trouble on my first day!" Uraraka exclaimed, "Especially after I made my first friends!"

Luna chuckled at her excitement as the four walked together down the road. She was surprised that she managed to make two new friends today. For the longest time, she assumed that it would just be her and Izuku against the world. But now she supposed that she would have to make room for two more people in her plan for the future. And she didn't seem to mind.

Eventually, after a while of walking to the station, Luna suddenly heard her phone go off. She stopped in the sidewalk and pulled out her phone. To her relief, it was just a text from her Uncle Keigo. It read: "Hey kid. I'll be home late tonight. I'm afraid that my agency is having a big meeting that I didn't know about. I promise I'll make it up to you when I can. Text me when you get home, okay? Love ya."

"Well, crap." Luna accidentally said out loud.

Izuku was the only one to have heard as he stopped walking, looking at Luna worriedly. "What's wrong?"

"Oh, nothing, nothing, it's fine." She replied in a disappointed tone, but that didn't stop Izuku from continuing to ask.

"No, no. I know that tone. It's the tone of voice you use when something doesn't go your way." He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, "What happened?"

"Are you two alright?" Iida called from a few feet away as he and Uraraka stopped walking.

"Hey, guys, it's fine!" Luna called back.

"Just go on without us. We'll catch up!" Izuku called, waving his hand to them. The others looked at each other with a shrug and continued to walk, leaving the two green haired teens alone, "Now don't lie to me. What happened?"

Luna sighed again. "Well, my uncle has to stay late at his agency because of a meeting and he won't be home until much later tonight. So it'll just be me tonight in the apartment."

"Oh, I'm sorry." Izuku said sadly before he hummed as if in thought. He then gasped and jumped in excitement for a second. "You don't have to!"

"Wait what?"

"You don't have to go home alone in your apartment! You can come over to my house!" He exclaimed, "I-i mean, for a couple of hours until your uncle gets back from his meeting, but you can come stay with me! And you can finally meet my mom!"

Luna gasped sharply as her eyes widened to the size of her phone. A pit suddenly formed in her stomach. Not only was Izuku inviting her to his house, but he was also suggesting that she meet his mom, the famous Inko Midoriya....

'Please, God, wake me from this nightmare that's about to happen!" She pleaded in her mind.
