Y/N POV
Yorihime:"Y/N! You're alive!?"
Once i had entered the capital, both Watatsuki sisters were waiting for me with an apparently worried look
Toyohime:"We thought you died to that weird machine! Those earthlings brought the heavy machinery!" Followed Toyohime while getting her face really close to mine
Y/N:"I'm fine i'm fine, just had a few encounters...got knocked out and woke up fine"
They both sighed in relief upon my words, standing back to their relaxed postures with a smile- except Yorihime who kept her stoic look
Yorihime:"Alright listen up, after the events that recently happened we decided we'd attack back the Earth, but we're making sure to have the needed requirements so the events of two days ago wont happen again" She stated as she took hold of her blade
Toyohime:"We even left at your house a gift! It'll be of help for next time, our mercenaries helped to make it"
I just nodded to them
Y/N:"Got it, guess the war's going to start soon huh"
Yorihime:"It started the moment they put that flag on the moon and challenged us..." Continued the enraged sister while taking her blade out
Toyohime:"You must be tired, go on captain, we'll call you if something comes up"
With a thumbs up from my part, i left into the capital and towards my home to plan out something useful...hopefully
Timeskip
Once having arrived to my place, i entered and closed the door behind me, looking around to examine the surroundings and make sure nothing's out of pla-
Y/N:"This wasn't here before..." I said while looking at a small box in the floor infront of me
Remembering the Watatsuki's last words of leaving something for me, i grabbed the box and brought it to me
Y/N: I wonder...
I decided to open it later, saving it on my pocket to walk further in- after leaving my shoes at the entrance of course. My house isn't the big deal, really just the same as most ones you could see around...with the addition i live mostly alone of course
*knock* *knock* *knock*
Not so long after i left my room, a knock was heard on the front door that dragged my attention to it
Y/N:"Coming..." I replied as i walked to the door
Once infront of it and placing my hand on the knob, i turned to greet whoever might be there-
Doremy:"Y/N! Hi! Good to see you!" -before i was greeted by the Baku on the other side
Y/N:"What are-?"
Doremy:"No questions, me and Sagume came to pay you a visit, whether you like it or not!" She dragged Sagume by her wing from the other side of the wall, who looked to be in pain as her face expressed
I just looked at the smiling Baku and the 'crying' moon goddess with confusion before Sagume pulled out a notebook and turned it to me
Sagume: [help me] read said notebook in it
Y/N:"Doremy what are you-?"
Doremy:"Abababa, no words" She just dragged Sagume inside without waiting an answer, leaving me confused until i decided to react again and close the door
The duo had arrived to the living room, seeing the little entertainment i had- between guns to books
Doremy:"Lively place for a Moon Emissary" She said with a smug smile
Sagume meanwhile was still frozen at Doremy's grip, which was something that didn't go unnoticed
Y/N:"Oi Doremy, doubt she can stay there much longer" Doremy turned to her friend, letting go right at the moment
Doremy:"Whoopsie doopsie, my mistake" She hit her forehead while sticking out her tongue as Sagume took hold of her wing and rubbed it
Y/N:"Poor of her..."
Doremy:"Anyways! Have you had anything to eat yet?" Asked the Baku as she took a seat
Y/N:"No nothing really, just arrived after a-"
Doremy:"Then we'll make dinner, we're experts at cooking!" Sagume walked to her side and nodded
Y/N:"It's not-"
Doremy:"-a question, now sit down and wait for us" A second after interrupting me, the two walked towards the kitchen together while i stood there fazed by the events
Y/N:"...sure i guess?"
I sat down after a moment, sitting over something hard that was beneath me
Y/N: Wha-? Oh right, Toyohime
After remembering the gift from the sisters that i received, i took it out from my pocket and opened the little box to see a small ring in it, shining with a moon's rock on it
Y/N:"A ring?..well, if it's a gift i can't say anything..." With that i placed the ring on my finger, it was surprisingly fitting on it, the exact same size
Sagume:"Y/N, food" Called out Sagume from the kitchen with neutrality
Y/N:"Coming"
Walking into the kitchen without expecting a lot from them, i saw Doremy already placing down some plates on the counter, i was surprised by their speed at preparing a full plate of food with so little time that had just passed, maybe was just something from the Goddess and the Baku
Doremy:"Oh Y/N, already here?" Asked Doremy with a smug smile as usual, as if she didn't expect
Sagume:"Called, as told" Said Sagume to answer for me
Doremy:"Aww, wanted him to say something by himself like 'i came to see if you needed help with anything' like a gentleman"
Y/N:"Would've done so if i had seen an explosion coming from here..." I answered to her words, earning a giggle from Doremy
Doremy:"Relax, i'm just joking with this, however i'm really done so dig in!"
A purple blob that was floating at her side reached for the bowl, grabbing and bringing it to me
Y/N:"Is this your pet Doremy?" I asked as i took the plate, i hadn't seen this food before, maybe something from Earth?
Doremy:"Oh something like that, it's hard to explain"
With some questions in mind that i deemed unnecessary to answer, i sat down on the counter and began eating. To my surprise, the first bite of it was actually way too good to describe, couldn't help but compliment
Y/N:"This is actually really good...you're a good cook Doremy, what's this?"
My compliment seems to have made an effect on her, she focused on me with a kinder smile than her usual smug aura
Doremy:"Aww thanks! This is a dish from Earth that i saw a lot of people eat as breakfast, called it Egg or so"
Y/N:"This egg was good then, you're good at cooking!" A giggle came from the Baku's lips in response, meanwhile a slightly jealous aura was felt on the environment, but i decided to shrug it off until it disappeared
Moments later, Sagume got close to me and stared at my face, before asking something
Sagume:"War on Earth, happening?" Were her words, maybe she didn't want to risk talking a lot
Doremy:"Oh, Sagume followed after you first, she told me something of you all attacking on Earth and yada yada yada"
Y/N:"Hah, yeah that is happening, we'll face the Earthlings with everything we've got, for stepping on the moon..."
They saw the seriousness in my face and voice, Doremy was the one to laugh it off as a joke
Doremy:"For now you better rest, we'll be coming to keep you company" Said the Baku smiling smugly, a normal thing i knew would happen way too often
Y/N:"Thanks but...i do have a question..."
I finished the meal and pushes the plate aside, both girls listened closely to me as i spoke
Y/N:"Why do you want to help us? Or even stay with me? As a Goddess and a Baku both of you must be really busy"
They looked at each other for a few seconds before turning back to me, this time the Baku had a hand on her chin as if she had realized
Doremy:"Well, Sagume has little to no work daily, so she's always available. Meanwhile i do have work to do, but it's just overseeing the dreams and that i can do without much problem, time here and in the dream realm work differently so i could be gone for a few days in that place and you wouldn't know!"
Sagume nodded to confirm her words
Doremy:"As for why we want to spend time with you...i just grew bored of the usual stuff, and you talk way more than Sagume so it's more than fun to be with- BWAH!"
Sagume silenced her this time by hitting her with her only wing, hard enough to make Doremy stumble
Doremy:"Okay okay sorry...you need to wash your wing..." Protested the Baku as she stuck out her tongue
Sagume:"I'm here...i want to, and-"
Y/N:"Reminder that you can talk normally while you're near me..." The Goddess' face seemed smaller in confusion after i spoke, she took a deep breath before continuing though and kept going
Sagume:"I'm here because i want to be here, it's comfortable to have another friend aside from Doremy, she always mocked me of how i couldn't speak"
Now Doremy tried to hit Sagume, however the Goddess was quicker and used her wing again to hit the Baku's face, making her stumble back and fall this time
Y/N:"Hey are you-?"
Doremy:"I'm fine i'm fine, her wing just tasted bad..." Doremy was smiling from the floor, however that smile faded as she rubbed her back in pain, Sagume was giggling while this happened showing her entertainment and joy
Y/N:"Having the Moon Goddess and a Baku as friends sound like something taken out of a book, but...if you'll spend your time here, i don't mind"
Could be a great stress reliever, the Watatsuki have a really strict training that i take part on, even with my increased perception i can't keep up too much and end exhausted, some normal company to talk with and spend the time would be of great help...
Doremy:"So we'll be coming to visit when you're not training, being an Emissary of the Moon must be hard"
Sagume:"Time to relax is in need, you work really hard after all" Both said one after the other
Y/N:"I don't work as hard as the other two, it's...hard to compare us and our training"
Doremy:"It's the attempt and effort that counts, and we can tell you work really hard for the Moon"
Maybe their true intention was to help me take a time for myself, which is something i do appreciate...
Sagume:"Can we come visit often?" Sagume spoke up as she peeked from my other side, somehow going there without me noticing
I thought for a moment to myself, they were just gonna be friends, nothing else...so what would be the problem in letting them stay? The opposite to mocking and disturbing peace they would be helping out to protect the Moon
Y/N:"Alright alright, i don't see why not" Thus marked the day i befriended the Baku and Goddess of the Moon, hopefully nothing bad will come out of this
Doremy:"Then settled! Do you need help to relax? Baku specialize in these things and kind of comfort" Offered Doremy, her smile appearing once again alongside her usual smug aura
Y/N:"I...am sure i've got this..."
